16th Century whitewashed & thatched, The Cot is reputed to have been used by smugglers in days of yore; in more recent times it was owned by the coxswain of the local lifeboat. Sunny and south facing, this cottage has been beautifully renovated to an extremely high standard allowing you to enjoy Cadgwith in very comfortable, stylish surroundings. Low beams, open stonework and a deep inglenook fireplace housing a wood-burner - together with a secret room, possibly a smuggler’s hidey-hole - all enhance its delightful charm and character. A private parking space is provided nearby in the cove.
Wireless broadband is also available in the cottage.

We would just like to say how much we enjoyed our week at Cadgwith Cove in the first week of May 2007, a truly idyllic village, steeped in tradition and history.we stayed at The Cot and was very impressed with the tasteful decoration of the cottage mixing contempory design but also retaining the traditional cottage feel a truly lovely cottage, we will hope to be back next year.

Just a few lines to say that we stayed in 'The Cot' in October 2009 and found it to be a charming and comfortable cottage kept to the highest of standards. We have been visiting Cadgwith for nearly twenty years now and up until the time we rented 'Rose Cottage' last year we have stayed many time in the pub. We would highly recommend 'The Cot' and for that matter 'Rose Cottage', to anyone who asks. We will definitely be staying again in 2010, maybe twice. Our aim is to to spend Christmas and the New Year in the future. Now comes the dream, if we ever won the lottery we would move to Cadgwith the next day!! There is one thing I would say to the owners of 'The Cot' don't change it too much as it is idllyic.
