Rose Cottage
is a charming, stylish cottage situated in the heart of the cove.
It is just far enough from the main thoroughfare to offer some seclusion
and provides ample seating to enjoy meals outdoors on the small
terrace. It has a large parking place (although you may be asked
to make way for the fishing boats in the event of a storm!) The
cottage faces southwest which means that it catches the best of
the sun that streams through the two stable doors into the open
and airy ground floor.
Ground Floor:- Sitting room:- Large fireplace with wood burning
stove. Electric wall heater. Colour TV and Stereo, sofa and chairs.
Leads into: Kitchen:- with a large oil fired stove (no charge
for oil) for cooking and heating, easy to use with the benefit of
also providing lots of hot water! Dining table and chairs, microwave,
and small stand alone freezer. First floor:- an open-tread
staircase leads to two Bedrooms both with double beds. Bathroom:-
with bath, wash basin and WC. Separate shower room. Heating:-
oil fired stove, wood burning stove and electric heating. Parking:-
one parking space in front of the cottage. Special notes-:
not suitable for small children.

We stayed in Rose cottage in September 2009. My Husband and his brother had just completed the John O'Groats to Lizard Point Cycle ride & I have to say it was the rest we all needed. The Cottage is utterly fabulous, the perfect getaway. I want to live there actually! There is lots to see and do, the walk along the coast both ways are a lovely day out. Lizard Point is worth a visit, the views are amazing along the walk and the colours in the sea spectacular. Kennack sands also very pretty and again a lovely walk.
The pub in the Village is lovely, very friendly and welcoming, Friday nights not to be missed, the local 'fish seller' an absolute treat, the fresh fish cooked in the fabulous oven - mmmmmm amazing!
Book your holiday here - you will not be disapointed! |

Thanks for another great holiday in beautiful Cadgwith. Rose Cottage is delightful and in a super position in the cove. We had sunshine every day, wonderful. |
