Carpenter`s Hut - P2016/0003

19 April 2017

Nada and Karzysztof, Twickenham This is a lovely cottage and tastefully decorated. It is roomy inside and a delight to stay in. It has all that we needed and was very clean. The views were spectacular - we could have sat all day just staring into the horizon. The parking is on the side of the cottage and therefore easy to unload. The cupcake treats left by the owner was a magic touch, not to mention delicious!

1 Jimmer`s Court - P2011/0028

29 February 2016

Kevin and Stephanie, Glos Excellent property in a very good location. Wouldn't change a thing. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We have been many times with Cadgwith Cove Cottages and never had a bad experience. The staff are excellent - always willing to help.

23 October 2015

June, Derek and family The location of the cottage was perfect - it was quiet and it was lovely to look out at the harbour and the sea. The cottage was clean and tidy. The quality of the furnishings was good and comfortable, and in particular the kitchen equipment and crockery was first class. If we were ever in Cornwall again we would want to stay at 1 Jimmer's Court. Thank you for contributing to a wonderful holiday for all the family.

16 May 2014

Mrs Bothwell We really enjoyed our stay at Jimmer's Court - it was just like being "home from home". We particularly liked being able to see the cove from the living room window, and also having a parking space.

23 August 2013

J Radcliffe We have had a lovely relaxing break - you have splendid sea views from here. A quaint, beautiful abode!

03 June 2013

1 Jimmers Court Friday 3rd May to Monday 6 May 2013 - all VERY GOOD What did we particularly like: WE have never been to a property before which was so clean and so well equipped. Many thanks. We had been before. It was so clean and obviously had thought about things. Kind Regards Mr and Mrs Bowyer

1 Monte Carlo - P2011/0013

07 November 2015

Mr and Mrs Calcutt, Warwickshire The cottage was certainly all we could have wished for. The location was ideal for all our bus trips, it was quiet, and we were lucky enough to see the wonderful firework display. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

29 August 2012

Angie Harris Monte Carlo exceeded our expectations. This is a small, but perfectly formed place for two people to stay. It`s light and airy with everything you need and the added bonus of a lovely garden to sit in and friendly neighbours!

4 Glebe Terrace (Whelk Cottage) - P2011/0017

07 April 2017

N Wood, Essex We had a great stay at Whelk Cottage. Very comfortable and equipped with nearly everything you need. The cottage was warm and cosy, quiet location and central for visiting The Lizard and surrounding beaches. Great cliff walks with the dog. We did not want to leave and will be booking another visit shortly.

28 May 2016

Chris Branson, Reading A really relaxing break. Cottage very cosy and welcoming. Well-equipped, comfortable furniture, sunny garden. Good position in village and easy access to Cadgwith, Poltesco and Kennack. Good walks from the cottage. Very nice meeting in the village hall on Thursday morning. I stayed in this exact cottage with my parents in the 1960s so it was a real walk down memory lane.

14 May 2016

Jeremy Sacha, Oxfordshire The cottage is a home from home so we can relax and enjoy our holiday no matter what the weather is like. There is so much to enjoy within walking distance and there is such easy access to the Cove, cliff walks and local beaches. As we are directly opposite the village hall we enjoy meeting the locals on a Thursday morning. One suggestion - a dishwasher would be helpful, but not vital.

07 May 2016

Adam, Wolverhampton I can't praise this stunning cottage and its location enough. Spotlessly clean and welcoming. Wine waiting for us and a personal note of welcome. The beds are so comfortable too. And it's dog friendly. Pretty garden to sit in. And the Thursday morning market in the village hall opposite the cottage is a must. Their bacon and egg sandwiches are legendary. Friendly people too. Just wonderful. Only downside is a lack of dog friendly sandy beaches before 7pm. But perfect for families who want spotless beaches. I will definitely go back here.

16 November 2015

Mark Lavington We really enjoyed our break at Whelk. The cottage is very well appointed with pictures, ornaments etc - all of good quality, locally sourced and engendering a great feeling for the location/area. We also particularly liked the open fire.

22 August 2015

Penny, Jonathan and Eleanor Stephens Thank you for this lovely, welcoming cottage - so cosy and thoughtfully set up. Lovely colours and fabrics too - a delight. We have enjoyed visiting The Lizard for many years but this is our first time staying in Ruan Minor. What a lovely village - so easy to walk to Cadgwith, but a lovely place itself. Our dog thinks she is in heaven - so many great coastal walks, swimming at Cadgwith and Kennack, the Rec so close by too...We have revisited favourite places - Kynance, Coverack (great meal and views in restaurant at the lifeboat house), Polurrian Hotel at Mullion, and have also discovered new ones - Coast bistro in Lizard for a cream tea, the Thursday morning village market just opposite in Ruan Minor village hall and in particular a visit to the Minack open air theatre to see King Lear. Thank you again for a lovely, welcoming place to stay - wishing all others who come here a very happy, refreshing time.

08 August 2015

Steve, Elaine, Lucas, Hereford Another great week in this beautiful cottage - the fourth year in a row. Thank you to Cathy and Jerry for letting us share your lovely cottage and special thanks for the wine over the last four years! Thanks to the housekeeper for the immaculately clean cottage we arrive to, and thanks to her husband for doing the recycling - there was a lot! Most of all, thanks to Whelk Cottage - "home from home" for one week in August for the last four years - we haven't wanted to be anywhere else.

01 August 2015

The Jordan family Thank you very much for the welcome pack - it was greatly appreciated after a long journey down. We have had a delightful week in peaceful surroundings and I hope we will be returning to the area very soon - if only to try to climb the leaderboard at the quiz night at the village hall!

06 June 2015

Hannah Allport and Dylan Stephens Well all I can say is "wonderful" - a lovely bright, clean, welcoming cottage. My family have stayed here often and how can we not follow in their love of this place and its people - so friendly. We are going home happy.

08 November 2014

Sandy, Ad, David and Sonya Fantastic cottage - spotlessly clean (credit to the cleaners) and even a sharp veg knife! The cottage is in a great location for lots of spectacular coastal walks right from the front door. Lovely, friendly village and the weather has been kind to us too. Enjoyed the evening walks to the Cadgwith Cove Inn and recommend the crab from the crab shop at Cadgwith. Thanks too for the welcome tray.

Simon and Joanne, Upminster, Essex Arrived to find this wonderful, cosy cottage in the most stunning of locations. Walks from the door in both directions and the weather has been very good to us. Enjoyed a very relaxing break - loved the peace and quiet with only the sounds of the sea and birds. Never tired of looking at the view. Thank you Paul and Jacqui - we shall definitely return.

15 March 2014

Ms Brooker Beautiful cottage with views to die for. Friendly hosts, who were on hand to help or just for a friendly chat - an amazing couple. As with your other rentals, it was a relaxing "get away from it all" break in amazing surroundings. We will be back soon.

03 March 2014

My husband and I are both in the army and were the first guests in their cottage last year on a short notice booking and they looked after us better than we could have ever hoped. Shortly after our stay with them we both deployed to Afghanistan and have been there since! We're hoping to leave here in the next few months and have already started to dream of another peaceful stay in Cadgwith and are hoping to go back to the lookout! It would just be lovely if you could let them know for us please and that we've often thought of their kindness when we stayed with them.

We have stayed in various properties in and around Cadgwith over the past few years and The Lookout surpasses them all. It's location is superb with easy access to the heart of the village but with acres of outside space, overlooked by no one and parking to boot! The interior is bright, comfortable and welcoming, we shall be definitely be returning.

02 June 2013

Just the most wonderful holiday in an ideal location, the views are magnificent and to go to bed looking out across the sea with the moon shimmering silver on the surface to complete silence is magical. Owners Paul & Jacqui could not be more friendly and helpful and the little fudge parcel on leaving a really lovely touch. Would highly recommend this as a holiday cottage, just superb!

Annexe at White Feather - P2011/0004

06 August 2016

Sally Dunlop, NE Lincs We have just had the most blissful two weeks at White Feather. Its location, the fantastic views and the home were just incredible. We found Anne and Peter the most perfect hosts. The problem now is trying to find somewhere better for next summer, but I somehow can't see it, so we will just play safe and book for next year. Amazing place.

23 July 2016

S Feegrade, Surrey We enjoyed our week at this lovely comfortable holiday home. Anne and Peter were perfect hosts, giving us a warm welcome, making recommendations, but leaving us to get on with our stay. We were largely unaware of being in an annexe to someone's home. The location is wonderful, the view is beautiful and the SW Coast Path just outside the gate, though the house is not visible from the path. There's little need to go beyond the Lizard peninsula - it's such a nice area. We already loved this area from before, but now will always try to stay at this house on any future visits.

25 June 2016

Bruce Richardson, Lincolnshire Visit Cornwall often and have stayed in some lovely cottages, but this one surpasses everything we have stayed in before. The views from the large windows are outstanding. Anne and Peter are perfect hosts - helpful without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

11 June 2016

Marie Morgan, Coventry Another lovely stay at White Feather. We particularly liked the sea view and the use of the beautiful lawn area. Also, the cleanliness of the property and the decor. Everything was thought of, such as excellent hairdryer (not the cheap ones which are usual), lovely thick soft towels. Excellent books to browse and the owners' art works, which really add to the character of the property. The outside seating area on the balcony is superb, with the view of the well thought out but very natural surrounding plants.

04 June 2016

The Hodge-Sellers/Holland family Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely home. It is absolutely beautiful and you've been incredible hosts. We hope to come and stay again.

12 November 2015

Louise Norris We can only echo what all those others lucky enough to have found White Feather and stayed there have said - it is just magical. A truly special place. Peter and Anne were, as previously noted, incredibly friendly and we can only thank them for sharing their magical corner of the world. What a place!

18 October 2015

Mrs G McKinsey, Somerset Just returned from a wonderful few days staying at this beautiful and spacious accommodation. We had perfect weather for the wonderful sea views from the large lounge/diner. Anne and Peter are excellent and helpful hosts. We will definitely return in 2016 for a longer stay in the summer. Highly recommended.

05 September 2015

Mrs Judith Ratcliffe, West Yorkshire This is worth the money for the view alone; but Peter and Anne have been very special hosts - helpful and friendly without in any way being intrusive. Highly recommended.

22 August 2015

Mark and Colleen Sterling One of the most relaxing and enjoyable spots we have ever been to. We loved the location, the garden, the hosts, the dog, the sunsets, the scallops and the crab. Our only suggestions - it might be nice to be able to barbecue, and we could have used a couple of better frying pans since we really liked the possibility of cooking fresh fish while we were there. But really the only thing that would have made our holiday better would have been to stay for another week!

30 May 2015

Marie Morgan, Warwickshire We have been to some great places in Cornwall, but this has to be the very best. When we first walked in to White Feather we were amazed by the spacious room with windows from floor to ceiling overlooking nothing but a beautiful lawn and then the sea. Good weather here is welcome but certainly not vital for a pleasant restful break. If it's bad you can soak up the beautiful view, whilst warm and cosy, through those huge windows. Then on a nice day you have the option of walking along the coastal path in either direction. On the way to buying your freshly caught fish in Cadgwith there is the breathtaking view of the Devil's Frying Pan. The whole experience at White Feather, including the very clean and well laid-out accommodation, was just what we needed to enable us to completely relax and de-stress for a while. Owners Anne and Peter were both very friendly, whilst ensuring that we had our own space. We couldn't fault this holiday and as soon as we returned home the first thought was to make sure that we would return next year.

16 May 2015

Gunnar and Dagmar Bruckner, Berlin, Germany A spacious, sun-lit dining room serving a complementary apartment with breathtaking views over the cliffs and sea. Walk through the beautifully landscaped gardens and you are on the South West coastal path, while in the village, only a few minutes walk away, you can get fresh fish, either to prepare yourself from the village shop, or to eat in the restaurant opposite. All round, we would highly recommend a stay at White Feather.

09 May 2015

Paul Hitchcock, Derbyshire A beautiful, idyllic location with stunning views and easy access to wonderful coastal walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very private and comfortable accommodation that made our holiday a true pleasure. We are already planning our stay for next year.

02 May 2015

John Macmillan From arrival to departing - reluctantly - the annexe at White Feather is an amazing place to experience this very special place. The views of the coastline never cease to delight, the village and its people could not be more friendly and helpful, and the owners, Anne and Peter, are great. We love staying here.

21 March 2015

Linda Smith We have been taking our early spring break at White Feather for a number of years. The proximity to the sea and coastal path, the fantastic views through the huge windows, plus the ample parking would be enough to satisfy most. Anyone with dogs should put this location on the top of their list - our two have had great fun running through the top field without any concern for cars or farm animals. Then add the hospitality of our hosts, which is always outstanding. We will be back next March.

07 March 2015

P Hurwitz, West Sussex We have been returning to White Feather year after year and our recent visit did not disappoint. The magnificent sea views, the spacious, light accommodation and the gardens that lead on to the cliff path make it a perfect spot for relaxation and walking our dogs. We also come down here with our grandchildren, who adore Cadgwith Cove - fishing and playing football on the chamomile lawn overlooking the sea! I am delighted to recommend this unbelievably special place.

28 February 2015

M Damrel White Feather is just the best place to be, regardless of the weather. Floor to ceiling windows giving great views of the sea and ships, fantastic sunrises, watch the fishing boats come in and nip down to the cove to buy your fish. We are always made very welcome by Anne and Peter.

Bay View - P2011/0015

18 March 2017

Sharon and Den, Maker, Cornwall Wonderful, relaxing week. Really enjoyed seeing/hearing the fishermen going out in the morning - from the comfort of our beds! - and then returning with the day's catch. Enjoyed our travels around the Lizard and to places such as Flushing and Mylor to re-live fond memories. All in all, a wonderful week.

04 March 2017

Helen, Graeme and Ollie the Jack Russell, Bristol Had a fabulous time at Bay View - feeling so relaxed it's hard to pack to leave. Have really enjoyed watching the sea, the storms, the weather, the birds and all the comings and goings. Visited the Lizard, Mullion, Helston, Coverack, St Keverne, Helford and even Falmouth. This is a well-stocked cottage, with everything we needed. We hope to be back one day.

15 October 2016

Mark and Jane Crick, Oxfordshire Wow! The cottage was amazing and helped make our week on the Lizard so special. We loved the coastal path walks to the Lizard and Kynance Cove, and the circular walk from Helford Village was spectacular. The Cadgwith Cove Inn was so friendly it felt like our local - the food was excellent and the highlight was our last night with the Cadgwith Singers. One of our best holidays ever - we will be back next year.

24 September 2016

Sarah, Allan and Martin Moore and Ginny the hound A wonderful week - weather very kind, managed every meal outside, though every evening found us in the pub with a different specials menu to whet the appetite! Coastal walks a-plenty, even managed a game of golf. Brought a little boat and Martin had fun catching mackerel and pollock - how fresh can your fish be! Special time to have the dog with us too. Excellent!

04 June 2016

The Martins, Bath What a place! What a view! Such a great week blessed by lots of sunshine and long periods sat on the lawn overlooking the beach. The kids loved it and we are now super relaxed - not ready to go back to work! Jeanette was kind and considerate and gave us a lovely welcome. A lovely 1-hour boat trip with Nigel up to the lifeboat station and along breathtaking coastline. We will be back for sure.

14 May 2016

Gita, Frank, Jagdish, Vidaya, Oxfordshire Best view in Cadgwith! We loved watching the fishermen and chatting to local folk. Great local beaches, or just chilling on the lawn. Jeanette made us very welcome, and equally we felt at ease coming and going and having the gorgeous cottage to ourselves for a week. Our second visit to Cadgwith - we're sure we will be back.

16 April 2016

Sue and Steve, South Gloucestershire Have been coming to Cadgwith for 40 years and still find it breathtaking. Bay View is by far in the best position and Jeanette and Margaret make you feel very welcome, especially with the little touches - fresh flowers, shortbread etc. Lovely to hear the waves from the bedroom. Flowers and wildlife - wonderful. A seal came into the cove on Monday. We will be back.

12 March 2016

Pete and Carol and Flickie the dog Our fifth week in Cadgwith since we discovered it in 2010. Bay View, and Jeanette and Margaret, lovely as usual. Our dog Flickie knows the way to the pub across the road. Tea and cake by the sea during the day and Cadgwith Cove Inn for the evening. Perfect.

05 March 2016

Dave and Karen, Oxfordshire A lovely cottage in the perfect setting! We loved watching the fishermen and listening to the sea - so relaxing. Great walks to Lizard and Kennack Sands and then popping over the road to the inn. Thanks Jeanette, we hope to be back soon.

04 April 2015

Meg, Claire, Ian and Bailey the dog Our second visit to Bay View and Cadgwith Cove - a regular holiday place for our family since I was little and it is still wonderful! The cottage is lovely - as always - and we enjoyed visiting the Cadgwith Inn on many occasions. The people here are great. We will definitely return next year as the sound of the waves every morning is too good to miss for any longer!

14 February 2015

Eddie and Jayne Sandbach Revisiting Cadgwith after 40 years and memories did not lie - beautiful spot. First stay at Bay View cottage but hopefully not our last - stunning views of a constantly changing seascape. Good to be in the heart of a working community and to watch the fishing boats come and go. Cottage was well equipped and comfortable - all that was needed for a relaxing week. Thank you for the tea and shortbread and flowers - a lovely touch.

26 July 2014

Chris and Helen Audritt We've stayed in Cadgwith many times before but this was our first holiday at Bay View. It certainly won't be the last. Thank you for the welcoming tea and biscuits. It was great to talk to Jeanette and find out more of Cadgwith's history. It was very hard to move out every morning as this is such a perfect place to relax and watch the world go by.

21 June 2014

Mr and Mrs Gorman We had a really wonderful holiday here with our dog - she was in the sea every day. We have stayed in Cadgwith before, but not at Bay View. What a lovely cottage - views to die for, waking up in the morning to see the fishing boats going out - nothing like it. We have booked for next year, which says it all. Many thanks to Jeanette and Margaret for their hospitality and making us so welcome.

Birdsong Studio - P2016/0006

29 July 2016

Derek and Liz, Farnborough, Hampshire We had a very peaceful, relaxing week at Birdsong Studio. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well equipped, set in a well kept garden. We looked out onto a field of cows and calves, who entertained us when they played. We also had the added benefit of Max the beagle's company and the two cats. Thank you to Steve and Debbie for making our stay so special.

15 July 2016

Anne Pallett, Notts We had the privilege of being the first people to stay at Birdsong Studio. We found it to be spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything we needed for a lovely peaceful get-away-from-it-all week. Exactly what we needed. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night and would have stayed longer if it hadn't already been booked. Debbie and Stevyn were on hand for any local information that we needed and could not have been more friendly or welcoming. We definitely hope to return.

Bosvigo - P2011/0044

27 December 2015

Mr and Mrs Cawdron, Northamptonshire We've been holidaying in Cornwall in the summer for over 20 years and it feels like home to us now. We decided to take the plunge and spend Christmas there for a change and we couldn't have chosen better accommodation to stay in. The price was very reasonable for the time of year and the accommodation lovely, comfortable and in an excellent location near to Helston for the amenities and Lizard for the rugged Cornish coastline. The rooms were very light and airy (and nice and cosy in the winter) and well equipped with a large and comfortable sofa and proper sized TV in the living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. All the essentials were on hand, including fresh milk for tea and coffee on our arrival and a special touch for Christmas which was very much appreciated. Within a few hours we knew we'd be booking again. The site itself is nice and quiet, clean and with plenty of room for parking and plenty of grassed areas for younger kids to play safely. I'd highly recommend this property for all year round and we can't wait to come down again.

05 September 2015

Gillian Burgess and James Bradley A lovely, cosy, comfy cottage - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The nicest place we have stayed in - we loved the big comfy sofa. Thank you for a wonderful holiday exploring The Lizard - a beautiful part of Cornwall. We really didn't want to come home.

22 August 2015

Emma and Mike and the Bromfields, Herts Great stay...fell back in love with the Lizard all over again. Highly recommend Coverack as a more relaxed beach experience than Kynance - though Kynance definitely worth the walk down. Bosvigo is the perfect spot both for car and cycling jaunts out. Love the local produce too - butchers great in Lizard. We hope to be back.

15 August 2015

Simon and Aliz, Surrey We had a lovely week in Lizard. It was what we expected: lovely quiet picturesque villages, friendly people, delicious local food, stunning coastal walks. Kynance Cove was just spectacular. We also enjoyed our visits to Mullion, Poldhu Cove, the Lizard lighthouse, Cadgwith and Falmouth. We found Bosvigo a lovely place to stay and we hope to be back soon.

27 June 2015

Jonathan, Lucy and Libby, Worcs Lovely week in a very very comfortable cottage. Kynance Cove is stunning - well worth a visit. Lifeboat launch at Lizard worth going to, then Smugglers for fish and chips. Also enjoyed Church Cove, Cape Cornwall, Porthleven, Porthcurno and a trip to the Minack. Hope all future visitors enjoy their stay as much as we did. We'll be back - hopefully soon.

Bowjy Cottage - P2014/0003

17 September 2016

Teresa and Robert Cowley, Cardiff Really enjoyed our stay at Bowjy. Quiet and peaceful, with spectacular views. We made full use of the "5 Walks Around St Keverne" book. Loved seeing the plants in the hedgerows and the butterflies and moths on the vegetation. We went to the Seal Sanctuary in Gweek and had a fascinating day there. Food at the Greenhouse was excellent (monkfish), with cheery service, and fish and chips from the van on Friday was very good.

10 September 2016

Linda and Rich Linegar, Surrey What a wonderful welcome! Spectacular views from the conservatory and from the garden - really relaxing. Bowjy is just lovely - already booked to come back next year. Saw a seal down on the beach, and at Lowland Point on the walk to Coverack and back. Lovely lunches at Roskilly's and really tasty pizzas from the woodfired oven in the evenings. Not to mention the ice creams....We have had a fabulously lazy, relaxing time here and will be back next September.

03 September 2016

Lisa, Jon and family, Exmouth, Devon Wow! What a find Bowjy Cottage is. We have enjoyed the most wonderful week here. Thank you for providing such a clean, beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking down to Godrevy Cove, and up the lane and across the ponds to enjoy amazing ice cream at Roskilly's. We loved Porthallow and would definitely recommend a pint of Proper Job and dinner at The Five Pilchards. Our other food delights included pasties (enormous!) at Porthleven and a cream tea at the little café at Kennack Sands. However, our most enjoyable times were sitting in the sunny garden watching the ships go by, meeting the cows and having cheeky little visits from Bron (the dog) who we all loved. We can leave here feeling relaxed and ready to face a new term.

21 May 2016

Janet and Richard Wall and family, Dorset Our second visit to Chenhale and our first time in Bowjy. Have spent a lovely, relaxing week here in this wonderful place. Plenty of ambling walks through woods full of bluebells, wild garlic and birdsong. Heard our first cuckoo! Far too many ice creams at Roskilly's!! The scenery at Kynance Cove took our breath away, as did the descent on rather slippy steps! Hoping to return in the not too distant future.

05 September 2015

Melissa, Stuart, Travis and Arden, Devon What a beautiful and relaxing cottage, with the most amazing view. I don't think you could ever tire of looking out into the bay. We have been on wonderful coastal walks and have visited idyllic coves. After 25 years of visiting Cornwall, this is our favourite area and we will always return again and again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

30 May 2015

Mrs J Nichols, Oxfordshire We were all bowled over by Bowjy Cottage - outstanding accommodation that exceeded all our expectations. Lovely location, wonderful view - the only base we've ever visited where we'd have been happy to stay in the cottage if weather or circumstances had prevented us going out. We also particularly liked the friendly welcome, non-intrusive but helpful owners, the thoughtfully planted patio and the 'private' beach....A dishwasher might have been nice but overall we had no complaints at all - we agreed it was the best holiday cottage ever!

06 September 2014

The Shelleys, Surrey We have had a relaxing, enjoyable holiday - swimming in the local bay, walking the coastal path, fishing off the jetty and rocks (caught pollock, mackerel and garfish) and enjoyed a couple of barbecues in the garden. The cottage is very comfortable, with everything we needed. Very peaceful, with beautiful views. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

26 July 2014

Fran, Mick and friends What a gem of a find - want to share it with friends, but really need to keep it a secret too. We have had an amazing holiday, visited a lot of old haunts and some new places too. Super setting, gorgeous garden, charming cottage, boiling beaches, fabulous food - what more does anyone need for an awesome holiday? Thank you for a great place to stay.

14 June 2014

The Schnyders and Wienkes, Germany We have had a wonderful week - lots of sunshine, great walks, fantastic food and lovely people around us. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We've enjoyed every single moment in your beautiful cottage and loved the sea view so much. Hope to see you again next year!

09 May 2014

Tony and Celia Kingston, Dorset What a wonderful week - a perfect area to relax and soak up the peace and tranquility. The cottage is superb, but the welcome you have given us made the whole experience unforgettable. Thank you so much.

Bramble Cottage - P2011/0046

05 September 2015

Adrian Tolson Our second time to Bramble and fifth/sixth time on The Lizard with Cadgwith Cove Cottages. Cottage is well placed, quiet, clean and a perfect getaway. We even had fantastic weather. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

Caerthillian House - P2011/0047

05 September 2014

Maria and Denis Lane, London A lovely home - that's what it feels like - home, rather than your usual basic holiday let. My husband wants to move in! Cream tea on arrival was a sight for sore eyes after 6 hours driving. Beautiful views and location - sitting on the balcony of an evening watching the sun go down and the pigs and ducks next door bed down for the night is bliss. Really loved our time here and hope to return in the not too distant future.

01 August 2014

Julie and John Hanson, Lancashire Our second time at this beautiful place. The weather was kind to us and the walks all lovely. Thank you very much for letting us use your home - we will be back again and again.

04 July 2014

Geoff and Chris, Northants We have had a wonderful stay in a really great location. The local food was truly delicious and the weather great too. Thank you for letting us stay in your really beautiful cottage.

13 June 2014

Chris and Jules, Shropshire Seven days of uninterrupted sunshine, superb views, a comfy bed - why go anywhere else for a holiday. We have had an amazing time back on The Lizard - in the best place we've stayed on The Lizard for several years.

23 May 2014

Anita and Tony North and Badger, Cambridge Our second fantastic stay at Caerthillian House. Who needs TV when you have that view - we just wish we could stay longer. This lovely place feels like a home from home - there's so much to do and see around here.

09 May 2014

Renate and Peter Pfeifer, Vienna After visiting the Lizard for 10 years, this holiday was absolutely the best we've ever had here. The weather was perfect and we had a lot of nice walks. Hopefully we can come back next year.

Campion Cottage - P2011/0031

23 October 2015

N Sutherland and M Trujillo, USA We absolutely loved our time in Cadgwith and wish we could still be there. The cove is a treasure and the cottage a delight. The location was fabulous and the kitchen well appointed. We really appreciated the quality of the cottage and its caretakers. One point...we got lucky with parking close by but the owner really should explore reserving a spot for the cottage nearby. We would love to come back.

Carlton Cottage - P2011/0014

10 September 2016

Mr and Mrs Sparling, Hull Another lovely stay at Carlton Cottage. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and seeing people we know. We had a great time and were sorry to go home.

16 June 2014

Gill Williams It could not have been a more perfect visit. The cottage was immaculate and very well equipped - right down to the torch. The bed was so comfortable and we would love to come again one day.

12 June 2014

Sherrin and Greg, Brisbane, Australia Thank you so much for having us. The cottage is delightful! We loved staying here and don't want to leave. The garden is stunning and the decorations inside are lovely. Jan and Jocelyn were very friendly, warm and welcoming and we will be recommending it to everyone!!

29 June 2013

The cottage has a 'wow' factor - very relaxing and quiet. The cottage has everything that you need for a nice holiday, and more!

01 June 2013

Jean & Bob A very comfortable and beautifully maintained cottage. Great holiday. Will certainly recommend to others.

Chenhale Cottage - P2014/0004

07 November 2016

Sara and Mike Davis, Hampshire What can we say?! The cottage is absolutely fantastic in every respect - it has everything we needed and could have wanted. We had a wonderful time exploring the area. It's so great to be so close to most places on the Lizard peninsula. The walk down to the beach is breathtaking and the views even more so. We loved St Keverne and also the nearby villages of Coverack and Cadgwith. All the locals are so very helpful and friendly - we just ask their advice on anything and they are ever ready to oblige. We hope to come back soon to stay - it feels like a second home for us!

23 September 2016

Stu and Pat, Oxford People come to Chenhale time and again and it's not hard to see why....The cottage has everything and is one of the cleanest we have encountered in more than 20 years of holidaying in Cornwall. The area is wonderfully peaceful and the walk to the beach a delight. Just a shame the fish weren't biting for me! Our recommendations would be the Greenhouse in St Keverne, Prince of Wales at Newtown and the pub at Cadgwith Cove (good Sunday lunch).

05 August 2016

Emma Ducasse, France A pretty cottage in a peaceful location. Warm welcome with tea, coffee and biscuits and fresh flowers! We loved the veranda. Clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. Excellent area for coastal walks and visits to breathtaking places. I'd like to thank staff at Cadgwith Cove Cottages who were always available and very efficient and friendly. Our only suggestion would be to include a few more basic products for cleaning and/or cooking, particularly for overseas visitors who are not likely to bring those with them. Thanks for a lovely stay.

20 May 2016

Gilly and Len, Dorset Thank you so much for a wonderful week in your lovely cottage and for such a warm welcome, as well as all the extra special little touches, which were very much appreciated. We have had a wonderful and very relaxing week in this beautiful part of Cornwall. The cottage is such a peaceful haven, and has such a beautiful garden. Absolute heaven! We can't wait for our next visit.

13 April 2016

Jane and Christopher Fenton, Somerset A delightful stay in peaceful flower-filled surroundings. The primroses just added to the joy of our stay. The cottage is tasteful and comfortable. We will definitely recommend Chenhale to our friends and relatives.

15 August 2014

Jenny and Dave, Sherborne, Dorset What a cosy, well-equipped cottage and a lovely welcome - thanks for the biscuits, milk etc. The beach is amazing - we caught some mackerel one evening and enjoyed them for tea the next day. Lots of nice walks along the coastal path - the views are amazing. Very good shop and friendly people in St Keverne. Hopefully we'll be back next year.

08 August 2014

Michelle and Philip, Dorset We have had a super week here. The cottage is lovely and so is the setting. It is so peaceful. We love the beach. We visited many places - Pendennis Castle very interesting, the Minack Theatre, Telegraph Museum, Coverack, Cadgwith, Lamorna and the Lizard and Kynance Cove - all super. Thank you for your hospitality and the shortbread and flowers. We shall recommend you and hopefully be back one day.

25 July 2014

Mrs Pruesener We enjoyed every minute of our holiday at Chenhale Cottage. It is in a superb location (exactly what we were looking for) and the friendliness and hospitality of the owners was very much appreciated. Booking and paying for the holiday was uncomplicated too. Our only suggestion might be altering the weekly changeover day - on a Friday of all days - because of the volume of traffic in the south of England, especially in July and August. Other than that, everything was perfect.

18 July 2014

Keith and Jackie Gale, Gillingham A lovely cottage in a beautiful and peaceful situation, and brilliant weather too. Our week has flown by. We have visited Cornwall many times but this is our first time on the Lizard peninsula and it didn't disappoint. Coverack is lovely and we both enjoyed fish and chips at the lifeboat house. Would also recommend a visit to the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek and food at the Black Swan pub in Gweek. All in all a lovely holiday.

11 July 2014

Sarah Coulling We had a perfect stay at Chenhale Cottage. It is in a stunning area and very peaceful, and the owners Sheila and Anthony were warm and friendly. We only wish we could have stayed for a month!

16 May 2014

Geoffrey and Joan Chenoweth Having spent many childhood holidays at Chynhale, it has been lovely to spend a few days here and recall memories. It is pleasing to see you have retained some of the original charm of the property. The cottage is beautifully presented and has some lovely 'quirky' features. The wonderful weather allowed us to enjoy the beach and quiet tranquility. Many thanks for your welcome and hospitality - we hope to see you again some time.

Chy an Reene - P2016/0002

19 May 2017

Mrs J Barnes, Tenby A lovely holiday at Chy an Reene. The accommodation was comfortable, well appointed and very clean. It was most convenient for the village, being 5 minutes walk from the green and ideal by car for anywhere else. Everyone we met was pleasant and most helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again.

29 July 2016

Chy an Reene was a lovely bungalow, with everything you needed, including space for my in-laws very large dog, Mia. The location was perfect for walks along the coastal path, a pasty at Ann's Pasties or an ice cream in the village. We would definitely return.

Corner House - P2011/0021

25 March 2016

Kirsten Smith, Herts A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Lovely warm bedding - more than adequate for the cold nights during our stay. Easy to light fire - perfect for evenings in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cadgwith.

03 April 2015

Cadgwith cove is a delightful place to stay, with great walks both inland and along the coast paths. The pub is friendly, with good food and beer, and could not be much closer to Corner House. The cottage is interesting and quirky. In March it is a bit cold unless sitting close to the open fire as the night storage heating is a bit ineffective for the size of the cottage. We had lovely weather but very cold nights. Corner House would benefit from the addition of one or two lamps in the living room that would be bright enough to read by. Overall an enjoyable stay in a beautiful place.

01 November 2014

The Waight family Lovely, cosy, warm cottage. Lovely, friendly locals. Warm weather! What more could you wish for. Thank you xxx.

23 August 2014

The Oldhams + guests Perfect - love the pictures, photos, lamps, range, big door key, views, cosiness - just everything. Goodbye little house - we have really loved staying here.

02 August 2014

The Pickles family Loved the house and the character of it - sitting on the doorstep at the end of each day was a real treat. Only gripe is the double bed - a wider bed and new mattress would make it perfect. We loved Cadgwith - the pub and the people. Our boys don't want to leave.

28 June 2014

The Morgans and Rosey the dog A really interesting cottage - quaint, quirky, creaky and fun. Also, you'll never run out of breadboards!

14 June 2014

The 'Duarte-Davies clan' A brilliant week full of coastal adventures and sunshine. Wouldn't have been the same without a cosy welcoming Cadgwith cottage to rest our heads each night! A beautiful unspoilt spot that should never change.

Cosy Cottage - P2013/0003

30 May 2014

Tony Bowler Had a lovely week at the cottage nice welcome lovely cream tea and cut flowers in Cosy Cottage. Everything one needed. If you wanted a rest from cooking Liz has a cafe area breakfast, through to an evening meal very enjoyable stay.Everyone friendly and helpful.

10 August 2013

We have had a wonderful week. A very warm welcome on arrival and friendly and helpful throughout the week. The cottage is cosy and has really helped us to relax. With so much to see and do we haven't left the Lizard peninsula.

13 July 2013

Wow - we have had a lovely time at Cosy Cottage and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We didn't leave The Lizard for the first week, with plenty of lovely walks, coves and places to explore!

08 April 2013

Richard and Pauline Warden Cosy Cottage has lived up to its name - despite the cold weather. Recommend a visit to Lizard Lighthouse. Also Helston Museum is amazing - like a Tardis and free!

Creekside - P2011/0040

06 March 2015

I have no hesitation recommending this cottage. For us, the location was perfect. The cottage is warm, the beds are comfortable - we felt at home right away. The children were safe to wander to the shop and green area.

27 February 2015

Creekside Cottage was just perfect for our stay in Cornwall. The cottage was beautifully appointed, with lovely features including a range, Victorian style fireplace and wooden shutters...and that was just in the lounge! With a conservatory, two very good sized double bedrooms, a bunk room and a lovely large bathroom with shower and roll-top bath, we really couldn't have wished for anything more. Fiona and Simon, the owners, did everything to make our stay perfect, from leaving us a bunch of tulips and a cream tea, to coming to check everything was OK and we weren't needing anything. All in all a truly memorable holiday.

06 November 2014

Creekside is a lovely cottage and the perfect place for exploring Cornwall. It is very cosy and homely and offers all that you need for a family holiday. It is near some glorious beaches, but also not far from towns like Falmouth, Truro, St Ives. There are plenty of attractions nearby to amuse the children in case of bad weather. Also plenty of lovely pubs and restaurants to keep the adults happy!

20 September 2014

Creekside is a fantastic little terraced cottage in a lovely Cornish village - very close to the shop, which sells lovely fresh bread and all the essentials. The pub is really close by, with good food and beers. On arrival there was a cream tea and fresh flowers, which was very welcoming. The cottage is light and airy and had everything we needed. All in all we had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Creggan Veor - P2011/0001

29 April 2016

A lovely stay at Creggan Veor. We enjoyed the setting, the garden, the nearness to the cove and the excellent village shop. Also the very well equipped kitchen. The porch door was stuck when we arrived and we could not access the key but a kind neighbour came to our rescue. We hope to return to this lovely house and the Lizard peninsula.

24 October 2015

Mr P Hart, Kent Never get tired of staying in this lovely old house. I think this is the sixth time.

17 October 2015

Stephen and Lorraine, Wilts Another brilliant week at your fabulous cottage. Weather has been very warm all week. We did the walk to Kennack Sands and saw the Devil's Frying Pan by starting at Ruan Minor (much easier than starting at Cadgwith!) Thank you for your well-thought out welcoming gifts. We hope to stay again soon.

03 October 2015

Nick and Angie, North Devon We have had a fantastic fortnight and been blessed with gorgeous weather. Lovely walks every day and relaxing evenings enjoying the sunsets. Thank you for the welcome gifts - very much appreciated. This is our second stay at Creggan Veor and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

12 September 2015

Peter and Joan Staple A very pleasant and comfortable stay. Every detail thought of. The kind 'gifts' were very much appreciated.

22 August 2015

Roy and Jany We have just spent the best week of our lives in this place. The house, the pub, the sea, the shop - all boxes ticked. Thank you. Thank you.

08 August 2015

The Tulk family We have had a wonderful holiday. Brilliant location, fabulous view and a perfect home from home for us. Can't wait to come back next summer.

20 September 2014

Nick and Angie Hobley We have been coming to Cadgwith for seven years - only wish we'd found the beautiful Creggan Veor sooner. This is a superb house and has such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Many thanks for all the "treats" you left us - very much appreciated and made us feel so welcome. We hope to return next year.

24 May 2014

Dave and Marie from Coventry This was our second stay at Creggan Veor and we would have booked again this month had it been available. All of Cornwall is beautiful, but this is the very best. The views, the conservatory, kitchen, bathroom - all excellent. Beautiful welcoming flowers, wine and milk in the fridge. What an escape from everyday stress. I am sure that we will be back for a third time.

12 April 2014

Ulrich and Gisela from Germany We had a wonderful holiday in Creggan Veor. This is a beautiful property with the benefit of a nice conservatory and a lovely garden area. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday was here. Thank you very much for the nice flowers, the bottle of wine, scones, tea and milk... We hope to come back soon.

01 November 2013

Stephen and Lorraine What an enchanting idyllic location the cottage is set in. Beautiful and evocative views over Cadgwith to the sea. The property was everything and more as described - we relaxed instantly and after days out looked forward to our return.

26 September 2013

C Howard Your cottage is delightful - homely and the main bedroom so luxurious and tastefully decorated. We usually go to the north coast, so this was a welcome change.

27 July 2013

Rana family A lovely cosy house to come home to each day. The view is fantastic on a sunny day - beats anywhere else in the UK! Very well equipped and a good location - will be recommending to family and friends.

22 June 2013

Marie and Dave Morgan As soon as we saw Creggan Veor we knew we were going to like it. But it just got better and better - the wonderful view, amazing conservatory, well-equipped kitchen and bedroom with sea view. We have been to this part of Cornwall many times and have stayed at some really good places, but this is the best.

15 September 2012

Dave Clements Second time at this cottage and enjoyed our stay as much as ever, clean comfortable and well equipped. loved the views and coastal walks, this cottage has a perfect location for access to the walks, village and touring around the area. ps thanks for the wine milk and buns. look foreward to coming back again soon.

21 August 2012

Lin Aldridge A lovely location: peaceful, convenient for beach, walks, views, the shop in the village and easy parking: we loved it at Creggan Veor. With one of the few decent spells of weather this summer (2012) it was as good as a week on the Med. We found Creggan Veor accommodation to be spacious, comfortably furnished, freshly decorated in calm colours which enhanced the period feel of the house. The conservatory is a particular feature with possibly the best view and the most sun of all the houses in the area. Great gardens too, being restored with dedication by the gardener to whom we chatted one morning.

08 June 2012

Had a wonderful and restorative time at Cadgwith. The house was even better than before and the garden looked terrific. Thank you for all the hard work that you have put in to make the place even better than before. Will be back next year. Candy Amsden and Roy Jose.

17 August 2011

Laurence Harwood The lovely gardens and a stunning view from the large conservatory were real bonuses at Cregan Veor. This is the fourth time we have stayed in Cadgwith and previously we have rented in the heart of the village but the sense of space and the wonderful views at Cregan Veor make the 5 minutes walk up the hill (mostly on a footpath) well worth it. The fact that there is an allocated parking space at the house was also very convenient. It is also well placed for the general store at Ruan Minor.

Dolphin Cottage - P2014/0005

02 September 2016

Mike Andrews, Derbyshire We had a fabulous holiday at Dolphin Cottage. The cottage had a beautiful feel and everything worked well. The location was fabulous. One request...a mirror in the bathroom - it is hard shaving without one.

18 March 2016

Magical cottage, magical place. Would love to rent again. Really enjoyed our stay.

13 November 2015

Lovely cosy cottage - the fires have been great in the cold weather. Lovely walks around the coast to Kynance Cove, Church Cove and Cadgwith, all from the cottage.

20 August 2015

Leopold family, Germany Very nice cottage. We have had a wonderful week in England. Thank you.

10 July 2015

01 June 2015

Susan Bellman, Holland Dolphin Cottage has a wonderful location in the village centre. The cottage was excellent - all we needed was present. Thank you for the flowers - a lovely gesture. We came for a holiday and left not wanting to go home.

22 May 2015

Amazing cottage and location! Very enjoyable stay - it was fantastic to be able to bring our dog and go on lovely walks. Thanks very much.

24 October 2014

I stayed here with my family and dog over the October half-term. What a fantastic location for walking, with easy access to the coast path and local coves. In the evenings we greatly enjoyed the open fire - very homely. A lovely cottage, thank you.

19 September 2014

Daisy Fletcher Stayed here in September - only the two of us. Cottage perfect for couples - very cosy. Local restaurants well worth a visit, especially Coast Bistro and the Top House. Lovely walks to Kynance Cove and other surrounding areas. Would highly recommend.

08 August 2014

Rachel Marshall It was an absolutely fantastic cottage I particularly liked the location - being an avid walker the immediate access to the coast path was perfect. The house was very welcoming and homely - didn't feel like I was on holiday. The cottage was perfect for our needs and is a credit to the owners. I will certainly be recommending it to friends and family!

Ivywell - P2014/0007

26 August 2016

Mrs McBride, Bristol We really enjoyed our time in Ivywell and would definitely return. Great garden, lovely big table for family meals in the kitchen and the table tennis table was excellent fun. The décor and furniture was comfortable, if rather dated - a more modern 'makeover' would be my preference.

30 October 2015

Linda Kabi and family, London We loved the house. It was wonderful, and ideally suited to a big family party. We particularly liked the "adult wing" of bedrooms on the ground floor, with one "supervisory" adult bedroom upstairs to keep an eye on the kids in the children's dormitory. The spaciousness of the house was very appealing. We loved the huge kitchen diner, the separate dining room and the massive sitting room with a real fire. The owners kindly provided logs for the fire. The conservatory was very pleasant too, as was the upstairs seating area. We felt the place could do with a little updating - a better washing machine and tumble dryer are needed and the ensuite wet room needs refurbishing. But overall we had a lovely holiday and our heartfelt thanks go to the owners.

Little Barn - P2011/0002

04 October 2016

Jenny Keen, Devon An idyllic four days in this lovely little cottage. Very stylish with very good quality fixtures and fittings. Duck down duvet over a very comfortable double bed dressed in quality bed linen. Very comfortable armchairs and fully fitted kitchen with everything needed. The shower room is big and modern with double sized shower cubicle. The patio garden outside the double french doors catches the sun and is fully dog proof. The owners, Pam and Paul, were very friendly and helpful, but didn't intrude at all. Pam had left a delicious victoria sandwich cake in the fridge, which was most welcome. Loved every minute of our stay and we're hoping to return in May to enjoy the wild flowers on the walk down the footpath into the village.

29 July 2016

Caroline and David, Wantage, Oxfordshire Lovely cottage, lovely local bread, fish, dairy and pubs! Lovely!

04 September 2015

Mr and Mrs Pearson, Worcestershire A lovely week at Little Barn. The cottage has everything you need. We particularly liked being able to take our dog and the fact that the little garden area was completely dog proof and also very private. We even had marvellous weather!

01 November 2013

We had a great time staying at the Little Barn. Paul and his wife were waiting for us with a big cream cake. Thank them for our great stay and will be back some time in the New Year.

20 September 2013

30 August 2013

Little Fernleigh - P2011/0008

19 August 2016

Mrs Margaret Watson, Blackburn We had an excellent stay at Little Fernleigh. The accommodation was good. I would stay there again - it's a place where you could live quite happily. Thank you for everything.

25 September 2015

Sue Fowler, Herts We had a lovely week at Little Fernleigh and wish we could have stayed longer. We particularly liked the location, the peace and quiet, the fantastic views and the fact that the place was so welcoming. It would have been helpful to have WiFi, especially as our car broke down, but thanks to Roger (the caretaker) who phoned and arranged repairs to the car.

19 September 2014

Ms J Duncan This is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. Very quiet and peaceful, modern and comfortable - we did not want to come home. Our only suggestion - the washing line was under a tree and was thick with sap. It would stay cleaner if moved. This is a beautiful place to spend time and I am sure we will be back.

02 May 2014

Annie Sevier Little Fernleigh was a lovely place to stay. The upstairs living/eating/cooking area was spacious with light on every side. The place was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay there and hope to return.

11 April 2014

Mrs C Redif We really enjoyed our week in Coverack at this property and would recommend Cadgwith Cove Cottages as a company for self-catering. We particularly liked the position of the house, the comfortable beds and being able to call Roger, the caretaker, when the heating was not working. He was extremely helpful and friendly.

12 October 2013

Suzanne Jenner We had a fabulous week in Coverack. The weather was great and the house was perfect. What luck to have such a lovely house in such a beautiful area. We are looking at our photos and wishing we were still there!

30 September 2013

Fantastic week at Tremarne. Everything was perfect, house & all utensils were first class, we all loved the view & the location was perfect for our needs. We will definitely use Cadgwith cove cottages again. The second week we stopped at Little Fernlelgh in Coverack another superb location & fabulous property. Thanks for a lovely holiday. Hope to be back next year.

Little Todden - P2012/0001

21 October 2016

Lesley and Toby, Fresignac, France A perfect little cottage. Cosy, fab views and a great little garden to sit and watch the tides come and go. A fantastic base for walking and close to the great local pub! Hope to be back one day.

14 October 2016

Ann and Andrew, Bideford, Devon We have been coming to beautiful Cadgwith for many years - first time we have stayed at Little Todden. How wonderful to stay in this little thatched cottage looking out to sea. Little Todden seems to wrap its arms around you, keeping you happy, cosy and comfy. What a magical week! Thank you, Anna, for the beautiful sweet peas and the milk. We met the little robin too. Hopefully we will return.

07 October 2016

Vera and Roger Adams, Cambridgeshire Our first visit to Cadgwith was in the very, very hot summer of 1976. This is our return trip after approx. 40 years and we have not been disappointed, as well as greatly surprised at how little it has changed. Our stay at Little Todden has only enhanced our love of this cove and we will certainly be returning.

29 July 2016

I have been coming to Cadgwith my whole life and stayed in various cottages. We have always had a great experience but I was pleasantly surprised by Little Todden being such a hidden gem. It has been the perfect place and I will now be a regular visitor to this cottage. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

22 July 2016

Alies and Hans Sint, Germany Our second time in this beautiful, peaceful little house at the sea. We were looking forward to "the world around Little Todden" so much, and we enjoyed it even more because this place is just all we need. We are happy here.

15 July 2016

Felicity and Nicholas, London Little Todden is perfect. Our first stay on the Todden (though not in Cadgwith) - so special to be able to stay here in particular. We have had a fantastic holiday and such a dream to be able to open the stable door each morning to the sea. Will be back no doubt.

23 April 2016

Sue Smith, Norfolk We have just come home from an amazing week staying at Little Todden. What a beautiful relaxing place and friendly community. Little Todden was perfect and we are already planning to return.

19 February 2016

John and Julie Sullivan A cosy and perfect cottage in an idyllic position. We had a wonderful time - we visited for a rest and got just that. Perfect.

30 October 2015

Hugh and Sherri Merritt A very well equipped, clean and comfortable place to stay. Anna (the caretaker) came to check we were OK, which was great. The only slight issue we had was that it was very warm in the cottage - we would have preferred to be able to control the temperature - it was too hot to sleep on a couple of nights. All in all a magical place - we only wish we could have stayed longer.

25 March 2015

Liz Smith Just spent a blissful week in Little Todden. Very cleverly arranged to make the most of the space available. Beautifully clean, and in a spot to die for! Thank you.

10 October 2014

Mrs C Blackburn We had a brilliant holiday at Little Todden and didn't want to leave. Lovely views, locals very friendly, great food at Cadgwith Cove Inn. We also ate brown crab, spider crab, lobster, hake etc from Nigel the fisherman and the fish shop. Little Todden was lovely - everything thought of, warm and cosy. We've only been back a day and are missing the sound of the sea. Will definitely be back - looking at the best time of year to book again for storms etc.

24 September 2014

Ms S Bevis We had a lovely time at Little Todden - the view, the tranquillity, the cosiness...everything was perfect. Our only suggestion - perhaps a more modern cooker?? We only wish we could have stayed another week!

19 September 2014

Keith and Denise Chalk, Liskeard Absolutely gorgeous 3-day break in Little Todden. We enjoyed the most wonderful weather for the end of September. Fresh hake and plaice with wine enjoyed enormously whilst sitting eating on the patio taking in those wonderful views. Fab pub, its food, its people and the whole village! Oh and look out for the friendly robin.

08 August 2014

Bestie and Jean, Liverpool Our third stay at Little Todden. Fabulous week -walked most days on the cliff path - saw seals twice at Lizard. Just love being here and soaking up the atmosphere - watching the sun and the moon on the sea is amazing. Thank you to Anna for the lovely flowers and for sorting out a leak in the bathroom.

25 July 2014

Keryl and Paul Atkinson, Southport Our first time to Little Todden. Children grown up, so first holiday by ourselves for 22 years - fantastic! My husband celebrated his 50th birthday here last week. What a wonderful time we have had! Beautiful place, beautiful little house and wonderful friendly villagers. All in all just perfect.

13 June 2014

Dave and Carol, Doncaster Our second holiday here in the Little Todden. What a beautiful and friendly place. Cosy cottage and friendly people. We are coming back next year to this special and friendly cove - it's heaven.

30 May 2014

Margaret and David Sills, East Sussex What a great little place - we did we only book for one week? We have had a perfect 7 days - a production at the Minack, walks on the coastal path, lunch on the terrace at the Housel Bay Hotel, dinner at the Lizard cafe etc etc. and then back to our little piece of heaven on the Todden. We'll be back ASAP.

Long Loft - P2017/0005

16 June 2017

Mr Sinclair, Devon EXCEPTIONAL. It would be easy to get carried away; the location of Long Loft is unrivalled, the interior styling and sense of space are beautiful and the overall feeling of peace and tranquillity just wonderful.

Meadowside - P2011/0042

10 September 2014

My husband and I stayed for a week at Meadowside with our 1-year-old retriever, Barney. The accommodation was excellent - comfortable and very homely. The 'little extras' that Fiona and Simon (the owners) thought of make the bungalow more endearing. Thank you for the lovely scones, and the milk in the fridge to be able to make a cup of tea after a long journey was most welcome. We didn't venture far during our stay, but the coastal walks around The Lizard are breathtaking. We had some lovely meals - the Halzephron Inn, Henleys and the Ship Inn to name a few - very good value for money and excellent food. All in all a fantastic holiday which I would recommend to anyone.

16 September 2013

An excellent base for exploring The Lizard. Garden was excellent for our 2 dogs. We will definitely return to Meadowside.

17 August 2013

This was our second visit to Meadowside and even better than the first. Meadowside is like home from home but with a beach, everything that you need and a lovely arrival of flowers and cream tea. We had a lovely week away with two young children with lots to do every day in Cornwall.

Mordros Cottage - P2014/0002

07 October 2016

Carol and John, Sherborne, Dorset Our first visit to Mordros Cottage. We were very impressed with the bright and spacious living/sitting room and the lovely flowers on the table. A very relaxing week (with no phone reception, which was very welcome!) We'll certainly be back again.

23 September 2016

Keith and Anita Wood Excellent accommodation - well furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. This has been a good base over the past 2 weeks for exploring western Cornwall. Lovely hosts, who have all made us very welcome. Recommend 'Coast' restaurant at the Lizard and 'Fat Apples' café on the way to Porthallow.

12 August 2016

Suzanne, John, Gabbi and Sofia, Stratford-upon-Avon Our holiday got off to a flying start when we arrived at Mordros Cottage to a very warm welcome and flowers on the table. The cottage and location have been a gem of a find this year and we would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. The beach/sea view - and at the end of the footpath too - were a great bonus. We couldn't go without a BBQ on the beach one evening. Family times are special these days and we were blessed with good weather and leave having made more happy memories. We hope to return one day soon.

29 July 2016

Jo, Richard, Harry and Joseph, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex This was our first visit to Mordros Cottage in this magical little place. The cottage and its surroundings surpassed all our expectations - it is a very special place. The cottage has been a comfortable, cosy and clean little hideaway, with everything we could have asked for. We've had a wonderful week. We've explored, from Roskilly's ice cream close by to the Minack Theatre, as well as finding wonderful coves and spotting seals from Lizard Point. Thank you for being great hosts and for creating this little magic hideaway.

15 July 2016

Claire, KJ and family, Eastbourne Thank you for a wonderful stay. We really appreciated the location - being near to the sea and south west coastal path. Loved seeing the seals at the nearby coves and Roskilly's ice cream at 'Archie's Loft'. We also really appreciated the beautiful garden, with the exotic plants and flora front and back. We also liked the 'special touches' in the cottage and the scrupulously clean environment. The weather was good all week, apart from one day - all in all a memorable holiday for us this year.

07 August 2015

Caroline, Malcolm and Oliver, Dorset A little haven of loveliness and a beautiful cottage to stay in. What more could you wish for! We look forward to returning for more fabulous walks and complete relaxation. Thank you.

22 May 2015

Mark and Heather, Becca and Rob, Blandford and Bournemouth, Dorset We have had such a wonderful stay here in Cornwall. Mordros Cottage is the perfect setting from which to explore the surrounding area and forget normal life! We have all agreed that we would love to come back again and wish that we didn't have to go home. Some recommendations: a walk to the café at Kynance Cove just before high tide.....a visit to Cadgwith village - so pretty and idyllic.....a meal at the Greenhouse restaurant in St Keverne. PS - We tried fishing at the local beach twice but no luck - still a lovely way to spend some time.

25 October 2014

Vera and Andreas with Pauline and Arthur, Berlin, Germany What a great part of the world. We have been happy exploring both in the sunshine and the mist. This is a lovely cottage - well-equipped and most comfortable. And thank you for such a warm welcome with flowers and biscuits. We enjoyed the little chats with our hosts, the easy access to the beach, short walks on the coast path, to Roskilly's and St Keverne, as well as longer trips. We'll definitely return one day.

22 August 2014

Jo and John Emmett and Alice Trudgeon, Dorset We've really enjoyed our week in this lovely part of the world and in such a super cottage with all we could ask for and a view of the sea too! John has enjoyed fishing off the beach - it's just a shame we never got to sample any fish! The flowers and welcome tray are a lovely touch and certainly appreciated after a long drive. Thank you for a lovely stay and for sharing your home with us.

15 August 2014

The Craven family, Dorset Our first stay at Mordros (and hopefully not our last) has been absolutely marvelous. The cottage is nicely laid out and very comfortable. Lovely decor too. We loved the walk down to the private beach, especially in the evening when there was hardly anyone about. The boys loved the freedom of space, the rocks and rock pools. Although the best thing was seeing a seal pop its head out of the water as if to say 'have a good journey home' on our last visit to the beach. We have loved staying here and look forward to coming again.

Old Coastguard Cottage - P2011/0009

29 October 2016

The Colliers + Marshall the dog, Derbyshire Had a lovely week - cottage spacious and well-equipped. We enjoyed our coastal walks, pasties and ice creams. Will definitely recommend this cottage to others.

19 August 2016

The Robinsons + Pepper the dog We have had a lovely week in this cottage - the only complaint is that the week has gone too fast! We've had lovely coastal walks around the Lizard and Mullion and visited St Michael's Mount, Trebah Gardens and Porthleven. Need to go home for a rest now! Would definitely stay in this lovely cottage again. Thank you for making it so welcoming.

12 August 2016

The Pyatts, Lovells and Sam the boxer, Cheshire What a fabulous two weeks we have had! There were only a couple of bad weather days and the rest was very warm. Velvyn was the perfect host - cream tea very welcoming. Highlights were the coastal walks - Lizard Point to Kynance Cove and Lizard Point to Cadgwith. The Witchball in the village was our favourite place to eat - the lobster and crab were wonderful. The Halzephron Inn and the Cadgwith Cove Inn were great places to eat too. We loved the cottage as a base in a beautiful location. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

29 July 2016

Diane and Clive Barltrop and family, Hertfordshire We have been coming to the Lizard for the past 16 years as it is a very special place for us. We have our favourite bays and coastal walks and love the stunning coastline. This beautiful cottage has been perfect for us in every way - clean, spacious, all our needs anticipated and very welcoming. Thank you so much for your attention to detail - it made all the difference to us and we have enjoyed a wonderful week. The cottage has felt like home and we will definitely look forward to coming back.

22 July 2016

Becky and Peter Morris + Herbie and Wilfie One word - perfect. The respite we needed. The cottage and gardens were much enjoyed. Idyllic. And what views! Could not have asked for more (including the amazing weather!) Thank you, Velvyn. We hope to return to this retreat next year.

14 July 2016

The Coupers, Bristol What a wonderful spot for exploring The Lizard - an area of natural beauty indeed! We loved exploring the coves and beaches on the peninsula from the coastal path. St Michael's Mount and the Minack theatre were also highlights. The cottage was immaculate and we honestly couldn't think of anything you hadn't thought of providing. The pretty enclosed garden was perfect. We have all had a memorable and happy holiday.

20 May 2016

Nicola Jones, Montgomery We were very happy at Old Coastguard Cottage. The weather was very changeable during our stay but it was a lovely house and garden to sit in and just enjoy. If we couldn't walk, we stayed put! We particularly liked the location of the house - it was quiet, but well situated for shops and pubs and also central to many local walks, which meant we could leave the car mostly at home and walk. Working WiFi would have been helpful, and we found it difficult parking in the driveway, but overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

14 August 2015

Jacqui, Birmingham A marvellous stay at Old Coastguard Cottage. The size of the cottage was fantastic and the location was great for beaches, the village and the great fish and chip shop. Thank you Velvyn for making us welcome....and the cream tea was fab. We can't wait to visit again.

14 February 2015

Mrs S Price, Devon A really lovely cottage with lots of nice features, including lovely towels and tissues in each room. A cream tea had even been laid out for us! We would certainly recommend this property.

24 October 2014

Mrs Mason What a lovely week we had in Coastguard Cottage - being together as a family with plenty of space was just the best. The cottage was great - spacious but cosy too and the little touches of a welcome cream tea and Halloween pressies was just lovely. Thanks again and hope to be back ASAP!!

08 August 2014

Mr Bennett We had a fantastic holiday, so a very big thank you. The house was very good for a fairly large group - we particularly liked the views, the spaciousness, the garden, the welcome tea and the charm. Parking was easy too.

One the Old Forge - P2011/0007

26 June 2016

Mrs Ball, Dorset The cottage was spacious, very comfortable and well-equipped. Comfortable beds and loads of storage space. Ideal location for a week of walking the coast path. We loved it - shame we were moving on past The Lizard for our next week's walking otherwise we would have booked again with no hesitation.

02 April 2015

Superb accommodation and a lovely village. Able to visit our "old" haunts - Padstow, Treyarnon, St Ives and the Minack Theatre. Thank you for the use of your lovely house. Hope to be back again.

01 November 2014

We have had a wonderful time. Been out and about and managed to find our favourite pasty place. Good food and evenings in the "White Hart". The Old Forge is a lovely, well-equipped cottage, and very comfortable.

08 September 2014

A very comfortable and relaxing place to come "home" to after a day's touring - in a quiet and friendly village. What a wonderful cottage - spotlessly clean and everything we needed. Loved St Keverne and its folk - so friendly.

03 August 2014

We had a lovely week at One the Old Forge. We were pleased with everything about the property - it was perfect. We hope to use another of your cottages next year.

15 May 2013

A wonderful few days! Beautiful house, lovely sunny days and picture-postcard scenery. We all loved it.

07 April 2013

We have once again enjoyed a lovely week and even the weather behaved. We have always felt "at home" as soon as we have opened the kitchen door. Since we have been coming here we have made many friends.

Pebbles - P2011/0030

03 September 2016

Jeanette, Andy, Jaz, Jack and Stitch the dog We've had a magical time in Cadgwith - such a special place. The only place in Cornwall we feel part of the community. Loved the Cadgwith inn - very friendly and great food. Kennack Sands lovely with the dog. The weather was amazing all week. The cottage was lovely - really cosy and quaint. Wonderful.

09 July 2016

Owen, Urs, Luke, Jenny, Stratford on Avon Lovely week staying in very homely Pebbles. Weather changeable. Some great walks along the coastal paths. Kynance beach absolutely amazing. The bottle of wine and milk were appreciated - a nice touch. If you like riding, try Newton equestrian at Mullion - lovely countryside for a hack and a great beach ride.

14 May 2016

Colin and Lorraine Walton, Lincolnshire Had a great week in this lovely cottage. Location super - easy to nip to either of 'The Coves' - the beach or the pub! Coastal walks nearly every day. Mullion to Poldhu Cove very good and food at beach café at Poldhu excellent. Best walk Housel Bay to Kynance Cove - marvellous views and even a couple of seals, but no chough...

03 October 2015

Chris, Kate, Megan and Annie, Shrewsbury, Shropshire We have had such a lovely holiday staying in Pebbles. Cadgwith is beautiful and all the local coves and walks are lovely. Pebbles is so cosy and quaint. We would love to return. The flowers and scones were a lovely extra. We will have fond memories of our stay here.

18 February 2015

Jane, Jeremy, Archie and Lizzy (and hounds!) Thank you for a fantastic break - perfect location; pub, beach and walks, stunning scenery. Pebbles cottage is lovely and homely - ideal for us all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will recommend Pebbles and look forward to our return. Thank you for the wine and flowers.

14 February 2015

Brown family Thank you for letting us stay in Pebbles. We have had the most gorgeous time - weather and family fun. The flowers and scones on arrival are so lovely and just add even more to making our holiday so special. We have stayed in Cadgwith a few times now and just love it, but Pebbles has been our favourite cottage so far - so cosy, homely and clean and so near the pub and beach. We will return here.

19 November 2014

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful village. There is nothing contrived about this cottage - it's so comfortable and well equipped that it feels as if you are borrowing it from a friend rather than renting through strangers. The Cornish cream tea on arrival is a lovely touch. It's lovely to be woken up to the sound of the waves and seagulls, rather than the mobile phone ringing. The pub next door serves good beer, very good food and the staff and locals are always happy to point you in the direction of some good walks and sightseeing opportunities. Can't wait to come back again.

27 October 2014

Spent a very enjoyable week in Pebbles - a lovely fisherman's cottage in the heart of Cadgwith Cove. It offers the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. The cottage is well appointed, with a cosy lounge with woodburner, and lovely bedrooms with pristine bedding. With WiFi and Sky HD and the cove only one minute away, what more could you wish for. We will definitely be revisiting! Thanks to Fiona and Simon (the owners) for providing us with some great memories. We would strongly recommend Pebbles.

18 October 2014

Adrian, Annie and Louisa Fabulous week in your lovely cottage. Very cosy and warm, with lots of interesting features. Cream tea on arrival was a wonderful idea. Weather has been generally kind and absolutely love the cove and its people. Highly recommend Pebbles to others. Pub is also very good and only 10 seconds from the cottage via the gate!

01 August 2014

The Roe family Cadgwith is one of the most magical places we have been to. Love the cove, the locals and the eating establishments. We have all had a very relaxing time. In fact the kids wants to stay!!

Pink Cottage - P2011/0023

19 February 2017

Nic and Linda Fleming, Bristol Another glorious week in Cadgwith. We really enjoyed our stay at Pink Cottage and appreciated how well equipped the kitchen is, with pastry brushes, gravy boats and the like. Mesmeric views at the front of course. We had a big wave show on our first night, and great weather for the rest of the week. Managed to get some hake and crab from one of the guys on the beach - both delicious of course. Two trips to Kynance - best beach in the UK in my opinion. Also, an entertaining evening at the pub on Friday - thanks to all the singers.

30 October 2016

Emma, Ellie, Sam, Dave, Grandpa, Westernhanger, Kent Thank you again for such a lovely time. So comfortable; spectacular views; table tennis was great fun - so good when the weather is poor.

11 September 2016

Andrew and Julie Courtis, Cheshire We have stayed many times in many different places and parts of Cornwall, but Pink Cottage, Cadgwith has to be the most magical - our quest for the perfect holiday home and location is over!! We will be back! Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

21 August 2016

Margaret, Richard and family, Hertfordshire Gorgeous sun, stormy seas, fun times in the cove.....Thank you Pink Cottage for amazing views and a very happy holiday.

05 June 2016

The Chalk family, York We have had a fantastic week. Thank you for sharing Pink Cottage. We have been visiting Cadgwith for many years but it is the first time staying here. We visited all our favourite places and basically didn't even leave the Lizard! The cottage is well situated and well equipped. If you ever think of selling, please give us a call!

27 March 2016

Mr Brinkmann, Germany We had a wonderful time in a wonderful place in a wonderful cottage.

Rene`s Cottage - P2011/0012

09 July 2016

Mrs Sage, West Yorkshire We loved the location of Rene's within the village - couldn't be any closer to the beach and, of course, the pub! I also loved my morning ritual - a glorious walk to pick up supplies from the local shops. The whole process of finding and booking was very clear and there was a very friendly voice on the end of the phone. The same can be said about the caretaker, who was very friendly. The website was well designed, easy to use and the cottage description was entirely accurate. We absolutely loved our stay and plan to be back in the near future. I've also recommended it to friends.

09 June 2016

Robert Walpole, Dorset We had a great holiday at Rene's Cottage, made even better by the fantastic weather we had. We particularly liked the history of the cottage, the location of the property and the friendliness of the locals and holidaymakers in the nearby cottages. If the holiday was scored marks out of ten, my wife and I would have scored it ten out of ten. We wouldn't change anything - it's perfect as it is.

14 May 2016

Scott Taylor, Birmingham Rene's is a lovely, traditional Cornish cottage that was clean and well presented, in a divine location. The parking is a bit awkward, but difficult to change. We could also have done with a bit of padding on the bathroom beams!

27 February 2016

A little gem of a place, Rene's has been sympathetically upgraded to cater for all modern needs yet retains all the original charm and character you would expect of a historic building of this period. After exploring the delights of Cornwall there's nothing nicer than sitting in front of the woodburner with a bottle of red wine - very cosy. It's also great that Rene's has its own private parking. Five star - loved it.

10 October 2015

Mr and Mrs Abbott, Somerset We had a lovely time at Rene's Cottage, and absolutely wonderful weather! Everything was very clean and cosy. Shirley (the caretaker) even posted me on some medication I had left behind. We will certainly be coming back to Cadgwith again.

18 April 2015

Paul Lawston, Middlesex We had a wonderful time at Rene's Cottage and were incredibly lucky with the weather - sunny most of the week! The cottage was perfect and I only hope we left it in a fit state when we left - there was quite a bit of coal and firewood left over for the next guests. Now we just need to try and work out when we can get back down there!

05 January 2015

Mark Pope What an amazing cottage Rene's is - way beyond our wildest expectations. We had a fantastic time (despite the pub being closed) and thoroughly enjoyed exploring The Lizard. Once again, many thanks - it was the perfect way to unwind and start the year refreshed and revitalised.

Rose Cottage - P2011/0018

25 March 2016

Kim Griffiths We had another wonderful stay and hope to return many more times. We love how cosy and homely Rose Cottage is. The new stove is very impressive and we love the HUGE bath. The local people are really welcoming - friendly and chatty.

09 October 2015

Kim Griffiths, Bradford-on-Avon Absolutely perfect! We loved our stay. We had everything we needed in the cottage and enjoyed our first experience of using a range for cooking. Lovely neighbours and an invite from Nigel Legge in passing to see traditional withy lobster pots being made in his nearby studio. Pub was fantastic - food and service were excellent, great atmosphere. The great October weather was enjoyed sitting outside using seating provided - fantabulous!

03 July 2015

Mrs S Claughton, Cheshire Can't imagine a more perfect location - just yards from the beach and with its own parking space. A lovely, cosy cottage that instantly felt like home. Good facilities, dog friendly and oodles of character. I could live here!

29 May 2015

Sue Fox A lovely week at Rose Cottage - we particularly liked the sunny location and the stove. Could do with decent reading lights in the bedrooms and also a simple bench outside the front door - just a plank would do.

01 May 2015

Mary Bainbridge, Gloucestershire We had a lovely time at Rose Cottage. We particularly liked the location of the cottage, the friendly people in Cadgwith and the church at Ruan Minor, as well as the beautiful walks along the cliffs. The cottage has a lovely newly-fitted kitchen, with a dishwasher and a range to keep the cottage warm. The caretaker was very helpful. The only thing we would suggest is better lighting in the sitting room, especially by the two sofas.

03 November 2014

Mr Fidoe The cottage suited us perfectly - it was really cosy as the central heating was on constantly and we loved the kitchen. The beds and sofas were comfortable and we particularly liked having the parking place so close. Everything about the cottage was great - we would only have liked a warmer local pub and less expensive meals there!

Seawatch - P2011/0033

13 May 2016

Mr Duckworth, Lancashire The cottage and Cadgwith were fantastic. We loved the view, the airiness of the cottage, the large garden and the finish of the living room. Just one suggestion - with only one bathroom on the lower level it would be worthwhile putting an ensuite into one of the other bedrooms for ease of access when upstairs.

08 April 2016

Mr Hunt, Devon We had a great time at Seawatch. We loved the very tasteful décor and the homely feel. The caretaker was very helpful when we had a door lock problem. The main bedroom bed mattress was not very comfortable and the bed was very creaky, but nonetheless we would like to come back again one day.

25 September 2015

Mr N Hunt, Somerset We loved everything about Seawatch, and in particular the fact that it did not appear as a holiday home. One suggestion - could do with softer cushions on the 2-seater settee. Can we also add that we have never dealt with such a helpful and friendly holiday company - thank you.

27 December 2014

Marianne, Mark, Edie and Ted, Beeston, Nottingham. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay at Seawatch. We definitely recommend this lovely house. There are comfy beds, a crackling warm fire, wonderful views of glistening sea from the double bedroom upstairs. Cadgwith is a lovely village, as we have found out many times before (we have been coming for over 11 years). We have also been to Seawatch 4 times now. Edie (11 years).

27 June 2014

Bob and Christine, Upminster, Essex Absolutely fantastic! The cottage is beautiful and so homely. Views to die for and we have been so lucky with the weather. We would definitely recommend this location and cottage to family and friends. Everyone is just so friendly and welcoming.

28 April 2014

Carolyn and Valentine Smith, Warwickshire Beautiful cottage - so tastefully decorated. Loved the views and the garden too. The lookout is charming. People in Cadgwith are so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you for the lovely flowers, tea and biscuits on arrival- very welcoming.

23 August 2013

24 June 2013

Hugo and Annabel Gamble, Oxon A wonderful few days here. Peaceful, welcoming and comfortable cottage. Thank you for letting us share it with you. 01 June 2013

Nic, Nathan and Stanley Robinson, Oxfordshire Our third visit to Cadgwith in the last 9 months. We love it here - what a magical village. Seawatch is definitely our favourite cottage yet (and there was competition for this title!). Such a home away from home. We felt comfortable immediately and are already planning our return. The weather was fabulous - the icing on an already wonderful cake!! Thanks for the loan of your wonderful hideaway.

17 May 2013

Ship Cottage - P2011/0003

27 September 2014

Thor and Helga, Iceland A lovely cottage in a beautiful part of your country. The good fishes remind us of home. We have had a wonderful holiday here. The cottage is so comfortable and the kitchen superbly equipped. You have thought of everything that could be required. I feel quite reluctant to return home. (V Hobson, Somerset).

05 July 2014

08 June 2013

The Gough family, Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire We have had a fabulous time. Cadgwith is a very special and unique village. We love it here and are already planning our return. Ship Cottage is great, with everything and more than we needed. Had great fun at the pub with friendly locals.

23 March 2013

The Rotherfords, Chedworth, Glos Had a lovely week, despite the cold weather. Cottage is fantastic - well equipped, spacious and in a great location. Cadgwith Cove Inn very welcoming and helpful - food OK. Recommend visiting Poldhu Cove, Kynance Cove and Kennack Sands. Falmouth Maritime good for kids, also One to 11 at Flambards if weather is wet/cold. We have fallen in love with Cadgwith and will be back! Many thanks.

Smyrna - P2011/0034

22 August 2015

Mr and Mrs Gerrard We had a great holiday at Smyrna - we loved the village and the cottage, particularly the excellent location, well-equipped kitchen and nice garden. Food could have been better at the pub and it was a shame the evening entertainment was so late, especially the Friday night singers. Apart from that, and the weather, there wasn't really anything that would have made our holiday better.

23 May 2015

The Lowery family, Cheshire We had a great week at Smyrna. The cottage location was perfect. We loved the village, and the fresh crab. Good facilities in the cottage and great WiFi!

07 March 2015

Mr and Mrs Watkins, Surrey The cottage is really comfortable and well equipped. Having stayed at Smyrna on four occasions, it is now feeling like a second home! We really enjoy the sheltered patio with views across the fishing beach. A fantastic spot!

14 February 2015

Donna McCann, Devon We particularly enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The cottage was lovely and warm on arrival and there was milk in the fridge. Our only request would be for more comfortable seating in the lounge...and a hot tub on the decked area would be great! We will be back next year.

29 March 2014

Mr Watkins We particularly liked the extensive accommodation inside - a variety of rooms with a 'different' feel to each. The external patio and chairs were fantastic for late afternoon sun. A marvellous two weeks - we return in early October!

03 March 2014

I would like to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and returned feeling very relaxed. We were fortunate with the weather too! The Cottage is wonderful and just probably more than I expected and we hope to return again in the future.

23 July 2013

We Thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay in Smyrna. The cottage is extremely well equipped, with great facilities and in an excellent location as it affords both a view of the sea and the pub, both of which are compelling viewing! Where else can you spend evenings listening to the singing of local folk songs, then wake to the sound of the sea? Idyllic.

07 June 2013

Lee and I had our honeymoon in Smyrna Cottage, Cadgwith. The cottage itself was lovely, very well maintained and perfectly located with wonderful views overlooking the cove and the sea. It was one of the most magical experiences of our lives and we can recommend it wholeheartedly. In fact, my daughter and her husband also spent their honeymoon in Smyrna, and loved it as much as we did.

Spring Tide - P2015/0003

28 November 2016

Alan and Emma Hunt, Stirling What a great find! After a long journey from Scotland we arrived to a warm, clean and welcoming Spring Tide. Your lovely hideaway was just excellent for us, with everything we needed. We will be back when it's a little warmer and when we can enjoy the walks and beaches. Thanks again for a lovely stay. We will tell others.

08 October 2016

Jenny, Dave and Brian, Gloucestershire What a lovely place to stay in - bright, clean, so welcoming. We have loved the Lizard - so many places to explore and the weather has been so kind to us. Cadgwith is a jewel - everyone so friendly. Brian the dog has loved the walks nearby. Many thanks again.

27 August 2016

Sally, Jamie, Dexter (4) and Sam (1) Thank you for a lovely stay. The cream tea (and bottle of wine) was much needed after two days travelling from Sunderland with two small children. The kids have loved their stay, as have we. The cottage is perfectly located and we have enjoyed seeing something new every day. Highlights have been Kynance, Glendurgan and a walk down to Cadgwith to see the fishing boats.

13 August 2016

The Millers, Cambridgeshire A delight to come in to a real Cornish welcome of a cream tea, wine and a great place to relax and enjoy our holiday. Check out the regular Wednesday barbecue in Cadgwith Cove - we had shark! Great walks from the doorstep - obviously Cadgwith is a must, but also check out Poltesco and the coastal path. Kynance is stunning, especially at low tide. Our eldest enjoyed a surf lesson with the surf school at Poldhu, while we enjoyed hot chocolate and pizza at the beach café. Also ventured further afield, but wherever our adventures took us it was great to come back to Spring Tide - we wish we could stay another week.

18 June 2016

Roger and Pearl Page, Hampshire We have had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in this delightful holiday apartment. Thank you for the excellent welcome goodies, which we enjoyed very much. We were given a very warm welcome at the parish church and also at Angela's cream tea. After a week here and visiting several places we have to say that Lizard Point was the place we most enjoyed and visited more than once. We hope to return.

21 May 2016

Bob and Lesley and Holly the dog, Staffordshire A warm and comfortable cottage in a lovely location. A lovely surprise of a welcome pack - very much appreciated after a long drive. 19 September 2015

Audrey and John Whitehouse, West Midlands We have stopped in some places but I must say this is one of the best places we have stopped in. We had a lovely day in Cadgwith Cove - such a beautiful place. It seems such a shame we have to go home. Hope to be back down here soon.

02 September 2015

Figg family, Kent What a wonderful stay we have had here in Spring Tide cottage. The cream tea on arrival was such a beautiful touch and extremely delicious. We were made to feel really welcome by Dom and Alison (the owners). We will certainly miss our walks to Cadgwith Cove. The children enjoyed kayaking at Coverack followed by local pasties. Thanks again for a really relaxing stay here in delightful Spring Tide.

29 August 2015

Dye family, Suffolk Lovely property with all we needed for a week away. Location excellent and we loved the village and Cadgwith Cove. Great local walks for the dog.

15 August 2015

Miller family, Cambridgeshire What a beautiful and welcoming cottage. Thank you for such a lovely surprise of scones - our very own cream tea - and a much welcome bottle of wine - great touch. The walks into and around Cadgwith are well worth the effort up and down the hills for the views. Take a look at the Devil's Frying Pan if you have the time. We also enjoyed the locally caught fish and crabs. Kynance Cove and Mullion Cove are great to explore, and Kota Kai restaurant in Porthleven was also good for the whole family. Thank you for such a lovely and relaxing holiday in a perfect cottage.

08 August 2015

The Hawley family A lovely base to explore the area from. Comfortable, welcoming and beautifully clean. Many thanks for the lovely cream tea and the bottle of wine. The garden is a peaceful sun trap.

01 August 2015

The Cleaves, Bristol As always we have had an idyllic time down here on The Lizard. Spring Tide has had a wonderful re-vamp since our last stay here 2 years ago and it has provided us with the perfect base from which to enjoy all the beautiful scenery. We have had everything we could possibly need (aside from some plastic crockery to save your lovely china!!) and everything was beautifully clean. The cream tea and wine was a lovely touch and much appreciated. We hope to be back next year.

04 July 2015

John and Kathy, Bristol We were privileged to be the first guests in Spring Tide. We loved it! It is very tastefully designed and decorated. It was always nice to come back to after a heavy day's walking. It is clean, bright and nicely furnished. The welcome goodies were very much liked and appreciated - thank you. And thank you also for the other bits and help you gave us during the week. We hope to be back soon.

Stargazey - P2016/0001

27 August 2016

06 August 2016

30 July 2016

Linda and Robert, Rayleigh, Essex Cottage lovely, location very good. Enjoyed welcome pack - tea and scones very welcome after long journey. Although weather not as kind as it could have been we managed lots of lovely National Trust walks. Toby our dog says thank you for his dog biscuit and towel and blanket - they were needed.

23 July 2016

Steve and Sue Travis What a lovely week. The cottage is just right - nice and bright, with all one needs. Many thanks to the owners for the welcome pack - a nice touch. The weather was very good as well, so all in all a great Cornish holiday. Now the horrid journey home....we would rather stay here....

18 June 2016

Brad, Cathy and Bobby We've had a lovely week here and have enjoyed the coastal walks, the local pubs and especially Leggy's pasties next door, which we highly recommend (if you're brave, try a large!) The welcome pack was a lovely touch and Bobby was very quick to find his bone! The apartment is lovely and if we could have taken the pictures with us we would have! Thank you - we hope to be back again soon.

21 May 2016

Reuben and Sophia, Bristol We had a lovely holiday at Stargazey. It is a very bright and airy apartment - comfortable and stylish with everything we needed for our stay. The location is very convenient for walking down to Cadgwith for a drink or walking out to the cliffs. It's also a great base for exploring this beautiful area. It was always nice to come back and sit in the garden after a day out. The owners very kindly left us some welcome goodies for our arrival, which was much appreciated. We hope to come back very soon!

04 September 2015

Carol, Clive and Sophie Sayers, Manchester/London Visited Cornwall and the Lizard peninsula many times before but our first visit to Stoneturner's Cottage. A surprisingly spacious and comfortable cottage and a perfect position for walking on the coastal footpath, fishing etc. Lots of great places to visit nearby. Blessed with mainly good weather and the wonderful views make the Lizard one of our favourite holiday destinations. Hope to come back.

14 August 2015

Shepherd family, Conisbrough, South Yorkshire Had a fantastic week at Stoneturner's. The cottage suited our small family to a tee. We enjoyed some lovely meals at local restaurants and excellent fish and chips. A thoroughly remarkable holiday - we are very sad to be going home.

19 April 2015

Mrs Jill McCaffrey, Hampshire Lovely snug cottage in a great location. I enjoyed a fantastic week here during the Easter holidays with my two children. The location was ideal - quiet but within walking distance of shops, pubs and a cracking fish and chip shop. Beautiful coastal walks within reach, dramatic landscapes, sandy beaches and lots of things to do within easy driving distance. The cottage itself makes very good use of space and has been recently refurbished with lots of thought and good taste. It is very well equipped and comfortable, with every home comfort you could need. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

27 February 2015

Mr and Mrs McLoughlin, W Sussex Stoneturner's Cottage is a delightful and most comfortable place to stay - spotlessly clean, warm, and very welcoming. We've had a great few days - good weather and fabulous walks. We are looking forward to returning in the autumn.

Sunset Cottage - P2011/0006

04 June 2016

Mike and Gill Sutton, Bristol Gorgeous area, lovely holiday home to come back to - much thought has gone into our needs. Lovely to find milk and tea!

16 May 2015

Kay and Grace, Kent Lovely time at Sunset Cottage as always. Most days we stayed local at Kennack Sands, but would also recommend Carbis Bay, St Ives - only 30-40 minutes by car. Cottage was spotless as usual, and always a great base for our travels. Sad to leave but sure we'll be back next year.

30 August 2010

Chrissie Manfredi We have booked with Cadgwith cove cottages before and have always been very happy with the cottages we have stayed in as a family of 4. Needless to say we love the sw cornwall area very very much. Our love affair with cornwall began 5 years ago and after several first holidays here,I was glad to stumble across Cadgwith Cove cottages website when researching for a cornish summer holiday that would also offer some reasonably priced,and/or offer baragin discounts/lastminute cancellations;yet still be in stunning beautiful locations feel uncommercialised and off the beaten track. So,two years ago we found ourselves staying in the heart of Ruan Minor in a thatched chocolate box of an adjoined cottage a mere 10/15 minutes walk from Cadgwith Cove, and unsuprisingly, naturally fell deeper in love with the SW and know the surrounding villages the lovely scenery and spectacular beaches nearby, quite well. As a family on a very limited budget indeed,it is always a challenge to find decent reasonably priced yet also clean and comfortable accomodation in the
late June early July summer season that wont cripple the purse too much; whilst also having to content and appease our two student teenagers at the same time. ie: not too far driving distance from the tiresome yet obligatory town centres/shops- making sure to choose a home that had the standard comforts
aswell.. washing machine..TV...Dvd/CD player... comfortable enough beds for lanky tall legs, garden furniture good decor and homely touches etc yet all
needing to be on a budget means accomodation varies and often ends up being a compromise Yet- Sunset cottage ticked most of their(and our) boxes and
requirements quite well. Our friendly charming gracious host and cottage owner Ann Vault was a delight to meet. You get the feeling she really cares which made all the difference to us...really wants to make you feel welcome and at home and that you have a relaxing good time in her 2 bedroom bungalow property and even went to the trouble of emptying our dustbin twice whilst we stayed there which was most appreciated with our messy lot. The little personal attention and touches made her haven comfortable cosy and homely; a fresh vase of lovely garden roses on the dining table to greet you; teabags to start you off with; sugar soap and a carton of milk in the fridge...plenty of hand soap and extra washing up liquid and at our request some extra bath towels to save us lugging them in our tiny and packed ford fiesta (!) so there were plenty of extra towels that made it extra convenient for the price and special for us. The only (small) minor drawbacks for us personally were:the lack of a tumble dryer (useful for inclement weather) and a large sofa instead of 2 seperate living room chairs but there is a folding airer you can place outside for wet cossies towels clothes and so on so it wasnt too much of an inconvenience.) Ann also stocks a few books maps and everything you need kitchen wise. The small flat screen tv (updated from the current pictures of the property)was a welcome suprise extra, too. There is a small back garden area with furniture and a sunset to enjoy. Sunset cottage was just the base we were hoping for. -Thank you Ann!

* Overall, we could not have asked for more from either Ann or Sunset cottage. Her rates (currently) are very very reasonable..probably one of the best bargains on the cadgwith cove website for this time of year. We were only a few minutes drive to our favourite Beach: Kynance Cove and all the delights of the quiet unspoilt Lizard area.

The Captain`s House - P2013/0002

30 July 2016

Genevieve Le Fort and family, Switzerland We really appreciated our stay at The Captain's House. A very nice place we'll be happy to recommend further. A special thank you to Sophie for her welcome note and the fresh flowers.

19 September 2015

Ms J Thomas, Berks This is a great location for local coast walks, buses for longer coast walks and shops within walking distance. It was always easy to park outside. The decor of the house is really lovely, especially the paintings and drawings. Could just do with some net curtains (or shutters) halfway up the master bedroom windows - leaving the top clear for the view please. My heart dropped when I saw the fish and chip shop next door but actually could hardly hear them through the walls. They shut at 8pm anyway, customers never caused any problems parking outside and the fish and chips were very good - lightest, crispiest batter I've ever had!

12 September 2015

Mrs A Good, Dorset We loved the feel of the house - very homely and more spacious than we expected. Some suggested improvements...some information about rubbish/recycling, a visitors' book, and leaflets/info about the area eg walks. We did have a problem with the fridge, which was faulty, but it was replaced on the Wednesday. Overall, we loved the house and would book again.

11 September 2013

We've had a lovely holiday here at the Captains House and just wanted to give you some feedback. The house is beautiful and we love the main bedroom and it's views. The kitchen is lovely and all the appliances really easy to use.

The Cot - P2011/0019

11 March 2017

Debbie and Colin, Harpenden, Herts We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely cottage - it certainly felt like home from home. We explored the local area and thoroughly enjoyed our brunch overlooking Lizard Point. The walk down to Kynance Cove was well worth the magnificent views. We had a wonderful week and hope to visit Cadgwith and stay in The Cot again in the future.

11 February 2017

John and Cilla Weir, Bristol A beautiful and cosy cottage. Several fabulous coast path walks, with lunch on the terrace at Lizard Point in shirt sleeves - in February! Ann's pasties are great - we're taking a pile back to Bristol. Thank you for the flowers, milk and delicious white wine. We would love to come back...

29 October 2016

Jon, Fi and Charlie, Powys Once again, everything has been perfect and a tonic. Anything which can get a 16-year-old boy out of bed unprompted has to be a miracle. Much fishing of mullet in the cove and yet more photos of Cadgwith in all its moods. Thank you for making The Cot such a wonderful place to stay.

21 May 2016

Miguel and Claire Sutcliffe, Cowbridge, South Wales We write this with disappointment and sadness...because our week is coming to an end. We've been coming to Cadgwith every year for the past 12 years and love it more and more each time. This is our second visit to The Cot and by far our favourite residence! A great job has been done with the garden and offers great views of the cove and beyond - a superb place to relax with a beer or glass of wine and some olives! One thing we don't do is tell people back home about Cadgwith. It's our special place and we want to keep it secret!!

15 April 2016

Nicky and Terry, Fremington, Devon What a lovely village and beautiful cottage. We have had a fantastic stay here. The weather has been great for walking and we have had our first paddle of the year! We wanted a relaxing holiday and this has been perfect. We would recommend the cottage and village to anyone and we will certainly return.

16 January 2015

27 November 2014

The Cot is a great place to spend a relaxing holiday. Situated in a beautiful fishing village, with very friendly locals. Good local pubs to eat out nearby and village shops. Would highly recommend. On arrival we really appreciated the homemade scones with local jam and cream. Thank you Fiona for a fantastic stay.

23 November 2014

Sarah S, Watchfield, Oxfordshire A beautiful place to recover and relax. Loved the 'secret room'. Had a wonderful walk to Kennack Sands along the coastal path, then a sing-a-long at the pub. Sad to leave. I'm sure I will return. Thank you for the cream tea - a delightful welcome after a long drive. The cottage was a sanctuary from the 'toils and turbulence' of a busy life. Thank you.

05 July 2014

The Kutter family, Germany We had a fantastic week in this lovely cottage. When we arrived we were very happy about the delicious scones left for us. We have had a mixture of weather - sometimes it rained but one day it was really hot and sunny so we went to the beach at Mullion. We have also walked to Lizard Point and got some fish from the 'Cadgwith Cove Crab'. Thank you for a great time!

12 April 2014

Claire, Hilton, Harry and Maddie, Reading What a little gem! Both the cottage and the location. A superb week. Our favourites from the week were visiting Coverack and Porthleven, also Kynance Cove. Loved the cosy feel to the cottage. Our thanks, Simon and Fiona, for providing a little piece of heaven for a week!

28 March 2014

Tremarne - P2011/0032

17 April 2015

Dr and Mrs Lloyd We had a fabulous holiday at Tremarne. The ambiance, the view, the peace....everything was lovely. Better bedside reading lights would be a bonus and we could have done with a few more bin bags for our second week but these are not major criticisms. We can't wait to come to Tremarne again in September, and next year!!

24 October 2014

Kerry Miles We have just returned from a beautiful autumnal break at Tremarne. Lovely cottage - the kitchen is well equipped and overall warm and comfortable. We loved the view, location and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely be booking again!!

Peter and Val Yet another fabulous time at Wyndleshore. This is our third visit to Coverack and it seems to get better every time. Food, drinks, walks and everyone very very friendly. We started to feel like locals by the last few days. Many thanks Angela - we all enjoyed our stay. See you next year.

The Saunders family We have all enjoyed another wonderful visit to Coverack but our first holiday in Wyndleshore, which has been a very special time. We loved the cottage, the view and the garden and found everything we could possibly have wanted. We haven't used the car at all during our stay as everything is just perfect in Coverack. It's hard to leave, but we'll be back. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cottage.
