The Carpenter's Hut offers fantastic views to the village and to the coast - right from the sofa and terrace. That alone - amongst many other reasons - would be a reason to come back.
Johannes Pagenkopf

10 June 2019
The Carpenter's Hut is a little gem. Everything you need has been thought of - from WiFi to washing up liquid. We had 3 nights at the property and loved it. Even the weather was fantastic. Our break was a little get away to recharge the batteries and it was just the job. The views from the lounge window are great - you can just sit and watch the ships and fishing boats go by, and there are a pair of binoculars to give you a closer look. We took full advantage of the outside sitting area, with a bottle of wine in the late afternoon sunshine. If it's peace and quiet you are after, then this is for you - the only sounds you can hear are the birds. One word of advice - the stairs are narrow and quite steep and the bed is fairly high, so maybe not suitable for the elderly (we are in our 50s and we managed!) We would definitely recommend the Carpenter's Hut to our friends.

01 March 2019
Our second visit to this hidden gem of a place. The weather has been unbelievably good - even hot on days. The walks, the people, the food, the views!! Perfect in every way. We will be back.
Chris and Rod, Birmingham

14 September 2018
We had a lovely week at the Carpenter's Hut. The property was fully equipped and we were very comfortable there. The view is amazing - we can understand people just wanting to sit and enjoy it all day. The information on local places of interest was extensive and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Lizard on foot and by car. There is so much to see that we must come back and explore some more.
Anne and Bob, Sussex

22 June 2018
Jean Shaw, Liverpool Excellent cottage - perfect for 2 people - really appreciated the new parking space and picnic bench. Good to have welcome visit from owner of cottage on our first evening. We had a wonderful week in Cadgwith, enjoying all our favourite walks, sea food from the fish man in Cadgwith, fun at the quiz in the Cadgwith pub....

03 March 2018
Chris and Rod, Bromsgrove, Birmingham Well what a find! Comfortable, clean, bright, with the most stunning views of the cove. We have stayed in lots of places in and around Cadgwith but the Carpenter's Hut is by far the best we've ever stayed in. We have already booked for next year and I'm sure many more years to come. A great holiday.

25 August 2017
Tracey Thompson, Cheshire The Carpenter's Hut was totally amazing. It was everything we could have wished for and more. The sea view was phenomenal and it had a charm that's hard to describe. For us it was perfect - we felt we had found the real Cornwall. The locals were very hospitable and friendly and made the holiday something special.

07 July 2017
Jean Shaw and Steven Best, Liverpool A wonderful week at the Carpenter's Hut. Although we arrived in the rain, the sun shone for the rest of the week, enabling us to go on many lovely coastal walks, relax in Cadgwith, try paddle boarding at Coverack and numerous other relaxing activities! The Carpenter's Hut was fabulous - clean and comfortable, lovely décor, fabulous views and everything we needed, except we would strongly recommend some coat hooks near the back door (there was nowhere to hang any outdoor clothing) and a few hooks in the bedroom/bathroom. Apart from that small suggestion a perfect location.

12 May 2017
Betty and Hugo, Cambridge We were at the Hut last September and returned as we like it so much! It is a lovely place to stay and I'm sure we'll be back again in the not too distant future. Many thanks for providing such well-designed, well-equipped and comfy accommodation.

13 October 2016
Alison and Richard, Bath Thank you for a very pleasant place to stay and for a welcome return to Cadgwith, from where we have been able to do some of our most favourite walks. Well-appointed, snug little 'hut'; comfortable, and of course the wonderful view and sounds.

05 July 2019
Another wonderful week in the Carpenter's Hut in Cadgwith Cove. Our third visit - we obviously really like this holiday accommodation - it is perfect for the two of us. We walked on the coastal path every day, returning in the evening to lovely fish dinners (with fish bought from the Cadgwith Cove fishseller). We love the cove and the area. A perfect week and hopefully we will return next year.
Jean and Steve, Liverpool

17 May 2019
I had a wonderful stay at this cosy little house! Everything was perfect (including the brownies). Thanks a lot! The weather was bright and sunny all the week through, and so were my spirits. A perfect base for hiking and discovering the Cornish south coast. I will definitely come back.
Regina W, Austria

09 November 2018
What a perfect hideaway for two. Maybe small, but perfectly formed, with an amazing view that we never tired of. We thought the bed might have been a problem but it was so comfortable. The only thing we could think of that was missing was a boot/shoe tray inside the front door so we could dry boots without resorting to newspaper to protect the floor. We would hope to come again in the future as we enjoyed it so much.
Mr and Mrs Pay, Shropshire

20 July 2018
Rob and Simone, Austria We enjoyed our stay in the Carpenter's Hut. It was very peaceful with just the birds for company. We enjoyed some lovely walks along the coast to Kennack Sands and Lizard. Fantastic views from the living room, and the chocolate brownies were a nice welcome. One suggestion - a sun umbrella would have been great. We had a great stay and will return to Cadgwith.

15 June 2018
Mr Tyler, Surrey We had a lovely stay at the Carpenter's Hut. We particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the ease of being able to walk to the pub for an excellent evening meal. And, of course, the weather happened to be good! We would suggest an umbrella for the outside table, and maybe a couple of sun-loungers.

22 September 2017
Lynette and Karl, Worcester What a fab find! Love the hut and the view - meant we were wishing for a dull day so we had an excuse to stay in! Perfect accommodation for 2 who want a quiet relaxing break. Thanks for the goodies on arrival. Hope to be back....possibly need 2 weeks though...

21 July 2017
Michael and Dale Jackson, BC, Canada What a delightful little abode and such a beautiful view of all the goings on in Cadgwith! This is a very special place for us and we have very special memories of our time here. We often think of this wonderful place from across the other side of the world and look forward to our next stay. (If you haven't tried the crab salad at The Old Cellars then you have a treat in store!)

30 June 2017
Hilary and Simon, Hertfordshire Lovely, clean and welcoming cottage with a stunning view. Loved staying here. Thank you for the delicious brownies and beautiful flowers. Hope to return.

19 April 2017
Nada and Karzysztof, Twickenham This is a lovely cottage and tastefully decorated. It is roomy inside and a delight to stay in. It has all that we needed and was very clean. The views were spectacular - we could have sat all day just staring into the horizon. The parking is on the side of the cottage and therefore easy to unload. The cupcake treats left by the owner was a magic touch, not to mention delicious!

30 September 2016
Nicky and Ken, Launceston Over the years we have stayed in some very lovely properties but truthfully this little Carpenter's Hut has been the diamond! Spotlessly clean, modern, and lots of extras such as kitchen sundries and of course the very welcoming jug of milk, home-made brownies and fresh cut flowers have made it the 'cut above' many others. For us personally it has been the first retreat that hasn't allowed dogs, which is imperative for my husband's asthma - long may that continue, we'd love to book again. Everyone who has visited before has pretty much said it all - the views, the quietness, ample parking, stunning walks and a very friendly pub. All in all the perfect retreat. My only suggestion is perhaps a clock? Not that we have had any time constraints this week!

09 May 2018
Mr Charles Kahn, Canada We enjoyed our stay at Jimmer's Court. It was well located and suited us well. Cadgwith is really lovely and we enjoyed being right in the middle of it. We found everything we required in the cottage. And thank you for the bottle of wine. It was a very nice welcome, much more to our taste than the scones and cream provided in other venues!

29 February 2016
Kevin and Stephanie, Glos Excellent property in a very good location. Wouldn't change a thing. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We have been many times with Cadgwith Cove Cottages and never had a bad experience. The staff are excellent - always willing to help.

04 August 2017
Mrs M Tyler, Colchester, Essex We had a lovely stay at 1 Jimmer's Court. Cadgwith is a fantastic place and we love it. We were very impressed with how well equipped the flat is - I don't think we have stayed anywhere where the kitchen is so well equipped. And the flat is in such a great location. We did have some problems with the parking - more obvious signage is needed to make clear the space is for 1 Jimmer's Court - but all in all a fabulous week in a lovely little gem of Cornwall.

23 October 2015
June, Derek and family The location of the cottage was perfect - it was quiet and it was lovely to look out at the harbour and the sea. The cottage was clean and tidy. The quality of the furnishings was good and comfortable, and in particular the kitchen equipment and crockery was first class. If we were ever in Cornwall again we would want to stay at 1 Jimmer's Court. Thank you for contributing to a wonderful holiday for all the family.

26 August 2017
Colin Giles, Northampton We really enjoyed our stay at Monte Carlo - the cottage and location were both lovely. A couple of points - the sofa is worn out - there is no support when you sit on it, and the fridge didn't seem to be working quite right. But I am being really picky - it was all fab really.

07 November 2015
Mr and Mrs Calcutt, Warwickshire The cottage was certainly all we could have wished for. The location was ideal for all our bus trips, it was quiet, and we were lucky enough to see the wonderful firework display. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

20 July 2019
We had a fantastic time at Whelk Cottage. It was beautifully clean and we felt at home immediately. It was a pleasure to cook food in the beautiful kitchen and, in fact, we only ate out once. We thought the location was wonderful, with just a short walk to Cadgwith Cove (we perhaps spent longer in the inn than we were planning to due to the fantastic singing!) Thank you for sending us the information on Lizard Adventure - we went kayaking with them and had a wonderful time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Whelk Cottage as a truly wonderful holiday cottage. We had previously had a bad experience with another company many years ago when hiring a cottage for a few days and were rather nervous about a holiday let again, but this has restored our faith.
Jennie Morrison, Hertfordshire

17 November 2018
What a beautiful place! Lovely and cosy and homely, well appointed and superb location - exactly what the doctor ordered to unwind and de-stress. Nothing like sitting beside a lovely log fire with a good book and a nice glass of wine, with a contented dog at your feet. A great place - see you next year.
Mark and Caroline, Cambridgeshire

22 September 2018
A lovely week in a beautiful cottage. We felt very at home and did not want to leave! The weather was mixed, but we still went out for walks every day. Church Cove and Dollar Bay were quite spectacular in the high winds and we also saw dolphins off Lizard Point - first time in many years of coming to Cornwall. We will definitely be back.
Ann, Stan and Molly the dog, Warrington

30 June 2018
Chris Branson, Berkshire Our third year at Whelk Cottage and another fantastic stay. The cottage is well equipped and comfy, with a small but sunny garden and seating at the front, where we often had a glass or two of wine with local friends. The cottage is scrupulously clean and in a quiet but convenient location for the local shop and village hall. Getting around either on foot or exploring in the car is easy as the coastal path is nearby, as are the beaches. We aim to return next year.

19 August 2017
Julie Adams, Surrey A lovely cosy cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you should need. It is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. A small garden at the back is a suntrap. There is a small shop nearby and also somewhere to buy homemade pasties. Within easy walking distance of Cadgwith Cove and an easy drive to the Lizard. Locals are all friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

07 April 2017
N Wood, Essex We had a great stay at Whelk Cottage. Very comfortable and equipped with nearly everything you need. The cottage was warm and cosy, quiet location and central for visiting The Lizard and surrounding beaches. Great cliff walks with the dog. We did not want to leave and will be booking another visit shortly.

14 May 2016
Jeremy Sacha, Oxfordshire The cottage is a home from home so we can relax and enjoy our holiday no matter what the weather is like. There is so much to enjoy within walking distance and there is such easy access to the Cove, cliff walks and local beaches. As we are directly opposite the village hall we enjoy meeting the locals on a Thursday morning. One suggestion - a dishwasher would be helpful, but not vital.

06 April 2019
Another great stay at Whelk Cottage - cosy and well-equipped, with a fisherman's cottage feel. Lots of close walks nearby, as well as Cadgwith Cove with the friendly pub. The Lizard is only a short drive away. Great cottage, great week, we'll be back.
Nigel, Burnham-on-Crouch

05 October 2018
Our first visit to Whelk Cottage, having been coming to the area for over 30 years. The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and homely. Thank you for the most welcome tea bags, milk and bottle of wine - all much appreciated. The weather was kind, with no rain, and perfect for the many places to walk to all around.
Patrick and Jill, Nottingham

28 July 2018
A fabulous week, helped along by beautiful weather. Visited old haunts - Kennack Sands, the Lizard, Church Cove, Falmouth - and also new - Praa Sands (lovely sandy beach) and St Michael's Mount (beautiful but so busy). We love the cottage, especially the pictures and nick nacks, the village and the locals. Thank you.
Julie and Derek, Guildford

02 June 2018
J Sacha and family, Oxfordshire Whelk Cottage always makes us feel welcome - the care you give means it is so easy and comfortable to move into. You provide everything we need and I always look forward to the bottle of wine that's there to greet us. The new washing machine was a nice addition and these investments year upon year are good to see. Reading through the visitors book we can tell there are a lot of people who feel exactly as we do and really love the place. We shall be booking soon for our next escape to Cadgwith.

02 June 2017
Surf, sand, sea.....and a little glimpse of sun...but that didn't matter because the cottage felt like home from home, so when the rain started we stayed cosy. Thank you for sharing this abode. The facilities are very good, making our stay easy, relaxing and comfortable. A proper break from work life. We love Cadgwith but have now broken the mould and branched Ruan Minor! A super location for Cadgwith, walks and trips to the beach. We hope to return.
Rachel, Samuel and Gary

28 May 2016
Chris Branson, Reading A really relaxing break. Cottage very cosy and welcoming. Well-equipped, comfortable furniture, sunny garden. Good position in village and easy access to Cadgwith, Poltesco and Kennack. Good walks from the cottage. Very nice meeting in the village hall on Thursday morning. I stayed in this exact cottage with my parents in the 1960s so it was a real walk down memory lane.

07 May 2016
Adam, Wolverhampton I can't praise this stunning cottage and its location enough. Spotlessly clean and welcoming. Wine waiting for us and a personal note of welcome. The beds are so comfortable too. And it's dog friendly. Pretty garden to sit in. And the Thursday morning market in the village hall opposite the cottage is a must. Their bacon and egg sandwiches are legendary. Friendly people too. Just wonderful. Only downside is a lack of dog friendly sandy beaches before 7pm. But perfect for families who want spotless beaches. I will definitely go back here.

03 November 2018
Perfect location, outstanding views. Lovely cottage and nice hosts. Will be back.
Fearbunce family, Somerset

28 July 2018
Ian Taylor, Staffordshire We had a wonderful stay a A Lookout. It's a great location, nice and clean, with fantastic views over the lovely village and sea. The owners were friendly and very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. Not forgetting the two cats....Looking forward to returning.

23 June 2018
Jenny Thomson, Wiltshire Our second stay at A Lookout and it was just as wonderful as before. The property is charming, as are the owners, Paul and Jacqui. I have previously described a stay at A Lookout as being like medicine for the soul. Indeed it has been again, and we will have no hesitation in booking again if there are weeks available. We are very tempted to keep it all a secret so as to increase our chances! Many thanks too for the smooth booking process.

24 June 2017
Roland and Sabine Dittmann, Germany We are unhappy because we had to leave the lovely cottage A Lookout at Bodrigy in the stunning village of Cadgwith. Everything was absolutely perfect, except that in the first few days the weather was a little bit too hot! Thank you to the warm-hearted owners Jacqui and Paul. Ideally we would like to come back next week but unfortunately we must go to work. When can we book for next year?

10 October 2015
Stella and Mark, Northants Absolutely perfect in every way. Thank you for a fabulous week. When we get home I'm booking again so we can celebrate our wedding anniversary here.

29 August 2015
Riehl family, Germany We enjoyed our stay at the Lookout very much and will come back to Cornwall - so much still to discover. Thank you Jacqui and Paul for your warm welcome, your tips and the special jacket service!

04 July 2015
Mick and Jayne, West Midlands Thank you Paul and Jacqui for the warm welcome and letting us stay in "your little place by the sea". It has been a wonderful week. Beautiful weather and lovely scenery. Couldn't have been better and we don't want to go! Thank you for the lovely fudge.

28 May 2015
Yvonne and Mike, Hants This is such a great place to stay. You have thought of everything. Lovely people, and what must be the finest sea views in Cornwall. Many thanks.

02 May 2015
Brian and Carol, Lancs Thank you Paul and Jacqui for welcoming us to your lovely cottage. Everything was pristine and bright, the views are breathtaking - quite the best we've experienced of all the many places we've stayed. We hope to come back one day for another relaxing week.

12 September 2014
Rebecca, Ben Alfred and Carol, Kent A fantastic week at the Lookout. Such a warm welcome - made to feel completely at home. Wonderful views from this delightful cottage. Enjoyed exploring the Lizard yet again and will highly recommend to friends and family. We don't want to go home...and hope to come back very soon.

15 March 2014
Ms Brooker Beautiful cottage with views to die for. Friendly hosts, who were on hand to help or just for a friendly chat - an amazing couple. As with your other rentals, it was a relaxing "get away from it all" break in amazing surroundings. We will be back soon.

18 February 2014
Becky My husband and I are both in the army and were the first guests in their cottage last year on a short notice booking and they looked after us better than we could have ever hoped. Shortly after our stay with them we both deployed to Afghanistan and have been there since! We're hoping to leave here in the next few months and have already starting to dream of another peaceful stay in Cadgwith and are hoping to go back to the lookout! It would just be lovely if you could let them know for us please and that we've often thought of their kindness when we stayed with them.

18 August 2018
Dahlia Porter, Glasgow A nice little cottage in a fantastic location. We enjoyed walking down the coast path in both directions - stunning scenery and interesting mining history - as well as into Cadgwith, which is just on and off the beaten path enough to be thoroughly entertaining. The pub is excellent - always something going on and great food too. Plus Jacqui and Paul are lovely hosts - thank you for the hospitality!

30 June 2018
Roland and Sabine, Germany Our second stay at A Lookout and it was all great again. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the lovely Cadgwith village - the party in the gig club, the festival in Falmouth, the absolutely friendly owners, Paul and Jacqui, the sunny weather and so on.....Unfortunately we are back home now, but staying at A Lookout now feels like home. We have already booked for next year.

30 September 2017
Helen Foster, Stroud We had a wonderful holiday at A Lookout at Bodrigy. The views from the property, which is right on the coastal path, are quite simply outstanding. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The owners, Paul and Jacqui, were very helpful, showing us around on the first day. Cadgwith Cove is stunning and unspoilt. The local pub serves excellent seafood. It is one of our favourite places. An excellent place to holiday.

17 June 2017
The position of this property is its key feature, with outstanding views over Cadgwith. For anyone seeking a quiet hideaway then this is the property. The owners were lovely and very helpful. It would have been useful to have a washing machine, although not essential. The only thing we would really have liked was another week!
Mrs Cartwright, York

18 September 2015
Janet and Stafford, Northumberland The Lookout is fantastic. Thank you Jacqui and Paul for a really lovely fortnight. Best cottage location in Cadgwith - wonderful views. Lovely cats! See you next year.

07 August 2015
Lisa, Nic and Amelia, West Midlands Thank you so much Paul and Jacqui for a lovely, relaxing week in your beautiful cottage. The views are stunning and by the sea is our favourite place to be! Cadgwith is such a lovely place. We have enjoyed every minute.

20 June 2015
Patrick and Sue, Cheshire Thank you for the lovely, warm welcome and all the advice. We've had a great week. This is the nicest and the best cottage we've stayed in...perfect. Really sorry to leave - we enjoyed everything about the place...the scenery, the views, the cream teas and the musical evenings in the pub. Thanks for everything.

23 May 2015
Julie and Andy, Birmingham We wouldn't come back here for a would have to be two!! Warm welcome, cosy cottage with everything you'd wish for and spectacular views. Great location for exploring this area. Thank you very much - see you again soon.

17 October 2014
Keith and Elaine, Kent Wonderful week, stunning views. The Lookout is fantastic. Paul and Jacqui made us feel so welcome and were first class hosts. Thank you so much for a great time in Cornwall.

03 May 2014
Simon and Joanne, Upminster, Essex Arrived to find this wonderful, cosy cottage in the most stunning of locations. Walks from the door in both directions and the weather has been very good to us. Enjoyed a very relaxing break - loved the peace and quiet with only the sounds of the sea and birds. Never tired of looking at the view. Thank you Paul and Jacqui - we shall definitely return.

03 March 2014

25 January 2014
Dinah & Jerry, Somerset Amazing cottage, set in the most pretty location. Perfect for visiting the many beautiful beaches on the Lizard, perfect for a winter getaway and perfect for peace and tranquility. WOW!!!

03 July 2019
Response to Mr McCallum: We are sorry that there was any upset. We acted on the report from the drainage engineer which, in retrospect, could have been incorrect.
Owners of White Feather

02 March 2019
A fantastic cottage with superb views out over the sea and down over Cadgwith Cove. Very well equipped, such friendly and welcoming owners. The proximity to the coastal path was just brilliant. We had lovely walks to the Lizard and the other way to Kennack Sands. Perhaps the most wonderful part was watching the sun rise over the horizon a couple of mornings out of the sitting room window. We will definitely be back to the Annexe.
Ben Hooker, Herts

13 October 2018
We have been holidaying on The Lizard for many years and this has got to be the best property we have stayed in. Views amazing - a truly beautiful place. Also very dog-friendly, with great walks on your doorstep. Can't wait to go back next year. Thank you.
Gary and Michelle, Walsall

02 June 2018
Kirsten Waidelich and family, Germany We spent two wonderful weeks in the cottage. The location is fantastic - the view of the sea at any time of day wonderful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, nature and the good weather. Peter and Anne were perfect hosts, nice and helpful. We will come back!

12 May 2018
Everything you would want from a holiday cottage is available at White Feather. The accommodation has the most spectacular views over the Cove and cliff tops and regardless of the weather there is a lot to excite visitors. Anne and Peter are warm and friendly hosts. We had a most amazing holiday and did not want to leave the peace and tranquillity that White Feather holds. We have already booked again for November.
Jill Stanley, Bristol

23 July 2016
S Feegrade, Surrey We enjoyed our week at this lovely comfortable holiday home. Anne and Peter were perfect hosts, giving us a warm welcome, making recommendations, but leaving us to get on with our stay. We were largely unaware of being in an annexe to someone's home. The location is wonderful, the view is beautiful and the SW Coast Path just outside the gate, though the house is not visible from the path. There's little need to go beyond the Lizard peninsula - it's such a nice area. We already loved this area from before, but now will always try to stay at this house on any future visits.

11 June 2016
Marie Morgan, Coventry Another lovely stay at White Feather. We particularly liked the sea view and the use of the beautiful lawn area. Also, the cleanliness of the property and the decor. Everything was thought of, such as excellent hairdryer (not the cheap ones which are usual), lovely thick soft towels. Excellent books to browse and the owners' art works, which really add to the character of the property. The outside seating area on the balcony is superb, with the view of the well thought out but very natural surrounding plants.

12 November 2015
Louise Norris We can only echo what all those others lucky enough to have found White Feather and stayed there have said - it is just magical. A truly special place. Peter and Anne were, as previously noted, incredibly friendly and we can only thank them for sharing their magical corner of the world. What a place!

05 September 2015
Mrs Judith Ratcliffe, West Yorkshire This is worth the money for the view alone; but Peter and Anne have been very special hosts - helpful and friendly without in any way being intrusive. Highly recommended.

30 May 2015
Marie Morgan, Warwickshire We have been to some great places in Cornwall, but this has to be the very best. When we first walked in to White Feather we were amazed by the spacious room with windows from floor to ceiling overlooking nothing but a beautiful lawn and then the sea. Good weather here is welcome but certainly not vital for a pleasant restful break. If it's bad you can soak up the beautiful view, whilst warm and cosy, through those huge windows. Then on a nice day you have the option of walking along the coastal path in either direction. On the way to buying your freshly caught fish in Cadgwith there is the breathtaking view of the Devil's Frying Pan. The whole experience at White Feather, including the very clean and well laid-out accommodation, was just what we needed to enable us to completely relax and de-stress for a while. Owners Anne and Peter were both very friendly, whilst ensuring that we had our own space. We couldn't fault this holiday and as soon as we returned home the first thought was to make sure that we would return next year.

09 May 2015
Paul Hitchcock, Derbyshire A beautiful, idyllic location with stunning views and easy access to wonderful coastal walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very private and comfortable accommodation that made our holiday a true pleasure. We are already planning our stay for next year.

21 March 2015
Linda Smith We have been taking our early spring break at White Feather for a number of years. The proximity to the sea and coastal path, the fantastic views through the huge windows, plus the ample parking would be enough to satisfy most. Anyone with dogs should put this location on the top of their list - our two have had great fun running through the top field without any concern for cars or farm animals. Then add the hospitality of our hosts, which is always outstanding. We will be back next March.

28 February 2015
M Damrel White Feather is just the best place to be, regardless of the weather. Floor to ceiling windows giving great views of the sea and ships, fantastic sunrises, watch the fishing boats come in and nip down to the cove to buy your fish. We are always made very welcome by Anne and Peter.

03 July 2019
Our 2-week stay in White Feather from 25/5/19 was idyllic, with perfect views in a quiet, peaceful location. The accommodation was well equipped and very comfortable to relax in and, with the decking, enjoyable times soaking up the views. There were a few minor housekeeping issues but they didn't deter our enjoyment of our stay. However, 2 days after returning home, the representative of Cadgwith Cottages contacted us on instruction from the owners to withhold our security deposit. The drains had blocked about half an hour prior to our departure, which we advised the owners, but we were wrongly accused of depositing wet wipes which caused the problem. We emphatically refuted this and responded to the representative stating we do not use wipes, or dispose items down the toilet. The representative quickly resolved the situation in our favour. However, the gloss had been taken off our holiday by this ill-advised accusation. Perhaps in future the owners would think carefully before taking the action they did.
Mr Doug McCallum, Inverness

29 December 2018
A wonderful stay at White Feather. The views were amazing - it took my breath away. The pictures do not do it justice - it is better in the flesh! I have holidayed in Cadgwith many times and White Feather was perfect for me.
Mrs P Reynolds, Shaftesbury

21 July 2018
Roy and Phyl Gibson, Hertfordshire Our second stay at White Feather, and good to have two weeks instead of one this year. Our hosts Anne and Peter were perfect - there if we needed them but otherwise they kept themselves to themselves. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the view of the sea was wonderful. What a view to wake up to! We will definitely be returning next year....can't wait!!

19 May 2018
Sohani Hayhurst, Oxford As always a wonderful stay. Everything sparkling clean, lovely bed linen and towels. Appreciate environmentally friendly products. A couple of small details - cafetiere not working well for example - but the rest was marvellous and I hope to book for next year.

06 August 2016
Sally Dunlop, NE Lincs We have just had the most blissful two weeks at White Feather. Its location, the fantastic views and the home were just incredible. We found Anne and Peter the most perfect hosts. The problem now is trying to find somewhere better for next summer, but I somehow can't see it, so we will just play safe and book for next year. Amazing place.

25 June 2016
Bruce Richardson, Lincolnshire Visit Cornwall often and have stayed in some lovely cottages, but this one surpasses everything we have stayed in before. The views from the large windows are outstanding. Anne and Peter are perfect hosts - helpful without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

The Hodge-Sellers/Holland family Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely home. It is absolutely beautiful and you've been incredible hosts. We hope to come and stay again.

18 October 2015
Mrs G McKinsey, Somerset Just returned from a wonderful few days staying at this beautiful and spacious accommodation. We had perfect weather for the wonderful sea views from the large lounge/diner. Anne and Peter are excellent and helpful hosts. We will definitely return in 2016 for a longer stay in the summer. Highly recommended.

22 August 2015
Mark and Colleen Sterling One of the most relaxing and enjoyable spots we have ever been to. We loved the location, the garden, the hosts, the dog, the sunsets, the scallops and the crab. Our only suggestions - it might be nice to be able to barbecue, and we could have used a couple of better frying pans since we really liked the possibility of cooking fresh fish while we were there. But really the only thing that would have made our holiday better would have been to stay for another week!

16 May 2015
Gunnar and Dagmar Bruckner, Berlin, Germany A spacious, sun-lit dining room serving a complementary apartment with breathtaking views over the cliffs and sea. Walk through the beautifully landscaped gardens and you are on the South West coastal path, while in the village, only a few minutes walk away, you can get fresh fish, either to prepare yourself from the village shop, or to eat in the restaurant opposite. All round, we would highly recommend a stay at White Feather.

02 May 2015
John Macmillan From arrival to departing - reluctantly - the annexe at White Feather is an amazing place to experience this very special place. The views of the coastline never cease to delight, the village and its people could not be more friendly and helpful, and the owners, Anne and Peter, are great. We love staying here.

07 March 2015
P Hurwitz, West Sussex We have been returning to White Feather year after year and our recent visit did not disappoint. The magnificent sea views, the spacious, light accommodation and the gardens that lead on to the cliff path make it a perfect spot for relaxation and walking our dogs. We also come down here with our grandchildren, who adore Cadgwith Cove - fishing and playing football on the chamomile lawn overlooking the sea! I am delighted to recommend this unbelievably special place.

24 August 2019
We had a wonderful stay at Bay View. The cottage was great, with super comfy beds and everything you could need. The setting was idyllic, watching the sea and the fishermen coming and going. The pub behind the cottage with its excellent food was also a bonus. A lovely village and a perfect holiday.
R Booth, North Yorkshire

22 September 2018
Had a fabulous holiday at Bay View. So many places to visit and some terrific walks with our dog Charlie. The cottage was all that we hoped it would comfortable and what a wonderful location.
Kevin and Hilary Moore

29 July 2017
Ellie Whyte, Dorset Bay View was as lovely as usual. We keep hoping the owners might install a stronger shower and it would be lovely if they provided towels [owner's note: towels are to be provided from 2018] but everything else in the house was lovely. We will be back next year.

12 March 2016
Pete and Carol and Flickie the dog Our fifth week in Cadgwith since we discovered it in 2010. Bay View, and Jeanette and Margaret, lovely as usual. Our dog Flickie knows the way to the pub across the road. Tea and cake by the sea during the day and Cadgwith Cove Inn for the evening. Perfect.

04 April 2015
Meg, Claire, Ian and Bailey the dog Our second visit to Bay View and Cadgwith Cove - a regular holiday place for our family since I was little and it is still wonderful! The cottage is lovely - as always - and we enjoyed visiting the Cadgwith Inn on many occasions. The people here are great. We will definitely return next year as the sound of the waves every morning is too good to miss for any longer!

26 July 2014
Chris and Helen Audritt We've stayed in Cadgwith many times before but this was our first holiday at Bay View. It certainly won't be the last. Thank you for the welcoming tea and biscuits. It was great to talk to Jeanette and find out more of Cadgwith's history. It was very hard to move out every morning as this is such a perfect place to relax and watch the world go by.

10 May 2014
Mr Sabine We had a wonderful stay in Cadgwith and were made so welcome. Bay View is in an amazing location. We also particularly liked the welcome from Jeanette and Margaret, the friendliness of the 'locals' and, of course, the brilliant weather! Our only quibble was that we found the sofas at the cottage too low - it needed the boat winch to haul me upright!!

05 April 2014
Mala, Joti, Granny and Grandpa We very much enjoy coming back to this wonderful cottage. The sea looks so beautiful when the tide is in or the tide is out. It is fabulous to be able to just take a few steps out of the door and find yourself on the beautiful beach. The bedrooms are so adorable and the beds are as comfy as beds can be. You can get to sleep so well when listening to the rolling waves outside. It is good to know that we will be coming back here next year and we will be...because this is the very best cottage. We wrote a poem about how lovely Cadgwith is - it's short but sums it up: The Place to Be Right by the Sea Is Cadgwith Cove A Treasure Trove. One last thing - the pub is amazing!

13 October 2018
We have just returned from Bay View, where we have wanted to stay for a long time. We were blown away (almost literally!) by the cottage, the cove and the location. Jeanette and Margaret were lovely and very welcoming - if we needed anything we only had to ask. We really appreciated the lovely TV too - so often in small cottages you get a tiny and not very good telly. We have already booked to return.
Janet Wheeler, Herts

24 March 2018
Peter Olner, Sutton Coldfield Bay View was as wonderful as ever. A beautiful property, which has been refurbished since our last stay, and is so comfortable. Lovely owner next door as well.

08 July 2017
Keith Scott, Northampton We had a very enjoyable holiday at Bay View, with its superb location and comfortable accommodation. Having stayed previously at Ruan Minor, we were familiar with Cadgwith both for its beauty and authenticity, and not forgetting Monty Halls and the BBC. A few suggestions for improvements - the bathroom door was extremely difficult to lock and the installation of better wardrobes would benefit the holidaymaker and enhance the spec of the property (these comments are observations and not complaints).[Owner's note - issues being addressed for 2018]. Truly a magical location and we hope to return soon.

05 March 2016
Dave and Karen, Oxfordshire A lovely cottage in the perfect setting! We loved watching the fishermen and listening to the sea - so relaxing. Great walks to Lizard and Kennack Sands and then popping over the road to the inn. Thanks Jeanette, we hope to be back soon.

14 February 2015
Eddie and Jayne Sandbach Revisiting Cadgwith after 40 years and memories did not lie - beautiful spot. First stay at Bay View cottage but hopefully not our last - stunning views of a constantly changing seascape. Good to be in the heart of a working community and to watch the fishing boats come and go. Cottage was well equipped and comfortable - all that was needed for a relaxing week. Thank you for the tea and shortbread and flowers - a lovely touch.

21 June 2014
Mr and Mrs Gorman We had a really wonderful holiday here with our dog - she was in the sea every day. We have stayed in Cadgwith before, but not at Bay View. What a lovely cottage - views to die for, waking up in the morning to see the fishing boats going out - nothing like it. We have booked for next year, which says it all. Many thanks to Jeanette and Margaret for their hospitality and making us so welcome.

03 May 2014
Rob and Sarah Ten years on from our honeymoon stay and all seems well with the world as you wend your way from the top of the village to enchanting's like falling in love all over again! What sights, sounds and smells. Basking shark in the bay on the first morning; stunning walk in the cloudless sky along the hedge tops to the Lizard; amazing tree ferns and colours at Bosahan gardens. Thank you for such a warm welcome - sweet smelling lilies and shortbread.

14 September 2018
Very comfortable cottage in a superb location. Debbie and Stevyn are very friendly and helpful and supply lovely bread. Wonderful walks from the cottage and in the area. Cadgwith Cove Inn recommended, and also Treleague Farm for fresh milk, cream teas and cakes. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come again.
David and Moira, West Sussex

03 June 2018
A lovely place to stay. Very peaceful little cottage and so close to the coastal path, which has been great. The bread was amazing. If we are back in the area we will stay again.
Genevieve and Gareth

06 April 2018
Angelica, Germany Thank you for letting us stay at the beautiful Birdsong Studio. We had a great time, come rain or sunshine. The place is so calm and peaceful. We will surely miss it when we're back in Munich.

06 October 2017
Marie and Jon Had a great stay - so quiet and peaceful. Delicious bread and flapjack. Footpath to Cadgwith easy to follow and pub lovely (remember your torch for the return journey). Great coastal walks. Thanks for a lovely few days.

01 September 2017
John and Debs This place was perfect for us to unwind after our wedding. Thank you so much for creating this haven. Cracking location and perfect set-up. Amazing hosts. We'd love to come back.

04 August 2017
Elisabeth and Georg Amling, Germany We really enjoyed our stay in the studio. We had a friendly welcome. There was a lot of information in the studio with helpful maps so we could make lots of walks around the Lizard. And we liked the homemade bread - very tasty!

14 July 2017
Ruth and Anne, Bath What a wonderful place to stay - cosy, comfortable, characterful and much could be said and has already been said by others. We felt completely at home and were thinking of asking to move in! Debbie and Steve are very warm and welcoming and of course they are very much about how at ease we feel here. Thanks for amazing bread, wine and song! We really hope to come again.

30 June 2017
Tracey, Bristol What a wonderful studio - I appreciated the effort and thought put into equipping the studio. Walked favourite paths and some new, visited gardens - mostly in the rain, but I'm going home re-charged.

14 April 2017
Trevor and Mary Jameson, Dorset Birdsong is a charming, quiet property set in a glorious unspoilt landscape. The owners (plus pets) are very welcoming and the bread and wine on arrival most acceptable. We met friendly locals wherever we went, especially at the Cadgwith Cove Inn.

29 August 2016
Peter and Christine, Amersham Birdsong Studio has been a beautiful location and a perfect base for exploring the Lizard peninsula and the Cornish coast. Calm and peaceful in a pretty garden with a river running through it, and cows in the fields. We loved the coastal walks and the footpaths into Cadgwith and Ruan Minor. Thanks for a most delightful experience.

18 July 2016
Sal and Rich, Nottingham Blissfully quiet (though check out the owls!), very comfy, garden of serenity - what a lovely place to stay (and thanks for the wine too). Unhesitatingly recommended and would happily return.

28 July 2018
Birdsong Studio is a fabulous place to stay and Debbie and Stevyn are very welcoming, generous hosts. Thanks for the beautiful bread, fresh runner beans and deluxe lemonade, as well as advice on where to go. We have felt very welcome and relaxed and will be sure to return.
Gemma and David, Leicestershire

22 April 2018
Sue and Nick, Devon Birdsong Studio gave us what we needed - light, quiet, dark at night, comfortable bed and all you needed in the kitchen. Debbie and Stevyn - thank you for being so unobtrusive yet friendly. And thanks for the delicious bread!

24 October 2017
Barfosz and Kate, Poland We had a lovely stay. It's the perfect place to relax and get away from everything. Lovely hosts, beautiful house and garden. Thank you very much.

07 September 2017
Andrew and Dodo, Essex Many thanks for the stay. We came exhausted and are returning home rejuvenated. You have been very welcoming and helpful. We look forward to coming back.

18 August 2017
Phil Whitby, Southport Thanks to Debbie and Stevyn for creating the haven of peace and tranquillity that is Birdsong Studio. Have enjoyed everything about this place - days in, Cadgwith, the inn, coastal walks, ice-cream etc. It's been fantastic - hope you see you again.

21 July 2017
Sue and Gary Stroud, Isle of Wight Thank you so much for letting us share your beautiful studio and gardens. It has been such a peaceful location - perfect for recharging our batteries. We've enjoyed the coastal path walks and the walk at Loe Pool, which was lovely scenery, peace and tranquillity. Thank you for being such warm and friendly hosts. We will be back.

04 July 2017
Lukasz and Justine, Surrey Thank you for having us at Birdsong Studio. What a fabulous 'get-away' place it is, with stunning surroundings and hospitable host. This is by far our favourite holiday destination in the UK. We had a peaceful and very comfortable stay and without doubt will be back in the near future. PS - the bread is amazing!

02 June 2017
Pat and Pete, Derby A lovely tranquil setting so near to many places for walking and retracing steps to various old haunts. Just what the doctor ordered - we'll be back! Debbie and Steve friendly and helpful. Welcome garden flowers, wine and bread on entry just adding to the peaceful feel.

10 September 2016
Susan and David, Bristol Our first time staying in 'Birdsong' but won't be our last. So quiet, peaceful and relaxing. A beautiful garden full of birds and visits from Max the dog and two lovely friendly cats. A perfect base to explore the Lizard. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Thanks for the wine and we highly recommend the delicious home-baked bread. Thanks for a lovely stay.

29 July 2016
Derek and Liz, Farnborough, Hampshire We had a very peaceful, relaxing week at Birdsong Studio. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well equipped, set in a well kept garden. We looked out onto a field of cows and calves, who entertained us when they played. We also had the added benefit of Max the beagle's company and the two cats. Thank you to Steve and Debbie for making our stay so special.

15 July 2016
Anne Pallett, Notts We had the privilege of being the first people to stay at Birdsong Studio. We found it to be spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything we needed for a lovely peaceful get-away-from-it-all week. Exactly what we needed. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night and would have stayed longer if it hadn't already been booked. Debbie and Stevyn were on hand for any local information that we needed and could not have been more friendly or welcoming. We definitely hope to return.

07 August 2017
Fantastic little bungalow with everything we needed for our stay on the Lizard. And very very quiet. Even had WiFi - much to the delight of our two boys. We love this part of Cornwall and all our favourite places were within 15 minutes drive of the accommodation, making it ideal for us. Looking forward to staying at Bosvigo again in the future.

08 June 2017
Bosvigo is in a perfect location for a peaceful holiday - set back from the road and with minimal noise. The interior of the cottage is pleasant - the main bathroom is a good size and the second toilet/washroom is extremely useful. The whole cottage was very clean and tidy and extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to see modern facilities available such as stereo system with iPod docking station, Freeview TV and a good selection of DVDs available. The back patio area is easily accessible and has facilities to dine outside in the afternoon sun. We hope to return.

05 September 2015
Gillian Burgess and James Bradley A lovely, cosy, comfy cottage - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The nicest place we have stayed in - we loved the big comfy sofa. Thank you for a wonderful holiday exploring The Lizard - a beautiful part of Cornwall. We really didn't want to come home.

15 August 2015
Simon and Aliz, Surrey We had a lovely week in Lizard. It was what we expected: lovely quiet picturesque villages, friendly people, delicious local food, stunning coastal walks. Kynance Cove was just spectacular. We also enjoyed our visits to Mullion, Poldhu Cove, the Lizard lighthouse, Cadgwith and Falmouth. We found Bosvigo a lovely place to stay and we hope to be back soon.

19 July 2017
Knowing the area well, this rental was essentially just a base, but turned out to be more like home from home. The chalet was clean and as described, and it was apparent many things were new or in the process of being updated. There were some very welcome extras - portable BBQ, body boards, games, books and plenty of literature about the surrounding area. The owner's manual was very informative, but could do with a little updating in places. All in all the rental was ideal for us - two adults and two teenage children - and we would recommend it to others.

27 December 2015
Mr and Mrs Cawdron, Northamptonshire We've been holidaying in Cornwall in the summer for over 20 years and it feels like home to us now. We decided to take the plunge and spend Christmas there for a change and we couldn't have chosen better accommodation to stay in. The price was very reasonable for the time of year and the accommodation lovely, comfortable and in an excellent location near to Helston for the amenities and Lizard for the rugged Cornish coastline. The rooms were very light and airy (and nice and cosy in the winter) and well equipped with a large and comfortable sofa and proper sized TV in the living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. All the essentials were on hand, including fresh milk for tea and coffee on our arrival and a special touch for Christmas which was very much appreciated. Within a few hours we knew we'd be booking again. The site itself is nice and quiet, clean and with plenty of room for parking and plenty of grassed areas for younger kids to play safely. I'd highly recommend this property for all year round and we can't wait to come down again.

22 August 2015
Emma and Mike and the Bromfields, Herts Great stay...fell back in love with the Lizard all over again. Highly recommend Coverack as a more relaxed beach experience than Kynance - though Kynance definitely worth the walk down. Bosvigo is the perfect spot both for car and cycling jaunts out. Love the local produce too - butchers great in Lizard. We hope to be back.

27 June 2015
Jonathan, Lucy and Libby, Worcs Lovely week in a very very comfortable cottage. Kynance Cove is stunning - well worth a visit. Lifeboat launch at Lizard worth going to, then Smugglers for fish and chips. Also enjoyed Church Cove, Cape Cornwall, Porthleven, Porthcurno and a trip to the Minack. Hope all future visitors enjoy their stay as much as we did. We'll be back - hopefully soon.

10 August 2019
Lovely cottage - sparkling clean, perfect location next to the beach, all mod cons. Who could ask for more.
J Hall, Hassocks

19 November 2018
We had a super comfortable long weekend in this beautiful cottage. Bracing walks, fantastic views over windswept seascapes.
Sue and Rob, Essex

11 August 2018
We have had a lovely week. The cottage is amazing - we feel so lucky to have found it. We have been very lucky with the weather and have been to the beach every day. No need to explore other beaches - this one is perfect! The bar has been set very high for any future trips to Cornwall. We may just have to come back to Bowjy!
O'Keefe family, Essex

26 May 2018
Our second visit to Chenhale and our first to Bowjy - impeccable, welcoming, comfortable. So tastefully furnished, with great attention to detail, which did not go unnoticed. The cleanliness was unsurpassed. Weather fantastic, so most mornings gazing out to sea sitting on the patio with breakfast - perfect! Bowjy ticked all our holiday wish-list boxes, so we will definitely be returning.
Julie and Richard, Sutton Coldfield

04 August 2017
We've been to Bowjy so many times that it's difficult to say new things, except to say that our repeat visits are for a reason! Despite poor weather we've had a fantastic holiday. Thank you again for sharing this small part of heaven with us. See you next year.
The Turner family

26 April 2017
From across the sea we came to this wonderful place in Cornwall. We never knew England was so incredibly beautiful. Thank you so much!
Family Schilperoort, Netherlands

10 September 2016
Linda and Rich Linegar, Surrey What a wonderful welcome! Spectacular views from the conservatory and from the garden - really relaxing. Bowjy is just lovely - already booked to come back next year. Saw a seal down on the beach, and at Lowland Point on the walk to Coverack and back. Lovely lunches at Roskilly's and really tasty pizzas from the woodfired oven in the evenings. Not to mention the ice creams....We have had a fabulously lazy, relaxing time here and will be back next September.

21 May 2016
Janet and Richard Wall and family, Dorset Our second visit to Chenhale and our first time in Bowjy. Have spent a lovely, relaxing week here in this wonderful place. Plenty of ambling walks through woods full of bluebells, wild garlic and birdsong. Heard our first cuckoo! Far too many ice creams at Roskilly's!! The scenery at Kynance Cove took our breath away, as did the descent on rather slippy steps! Hoping to return in the not too distant future.

20 July 2019
We had a brilliant week in Bowjy Cottage. What a fantastic cottage and a truly marvellous location. Our daughter fell in love with the animals on the farm. The cottage had everything we needed - we really didn't need to take all the kitchen stuff we packed! It's a wonderful holiday cottage and I hope we are able to visit again next year.
Tulk family, Surrey

29 September 2018
Our first holiday in Cornwall and a great week in this beautiful cottage. Calm, sunshine and the sea - wonderful! Thank you for this unforgettable time.
Pfleger family, Germany

02 June 2018
A fabulous stay at Bowjy - definitely one of our best holidays ever. The beach was fantastic. We loved having barbecues down there, and also sitting outside in the morning having breakfast. We went for loads of walks and visited lots of places, including St Michael's Mount and Roskilly's. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year.
Bray family, Exeter, Devon

02 September 2017
A wonderful week. We swam at Godrevy every day and sailed from St Anthony. Also a successful trip to the Minack Theatre - rain free, but wrap up warm! Thank you for the lovely cottage.
Paul, Emily, Lily, Evie and Martha, North London

15 July 2017
A wonderful visit to Bowjy. Beautiful cottage - so clean and the best view ever. Beautiful flowers in the garden as well. We have visited lots of new places and walked the coastal path to Coverack and the other way to Porthallow - both beautiful. The Fat Apples café on the road to Porthallow is just amazing - well worth a visit or two. Thank you Anthony and Sheila for being so hospitable.
Nicky and Simon, Blackpool

17 September 2016
Teresa and Robert Cowley, Cardiff Really enjoyed our stay at Bowjy. Quiet and peaceful, with spectacular views. We made full use of the "5 Walks Around St Keverne" book. Loved seeing the plants in the hedgerows and the butterflies and moths on the vegetation. We went to the Seal Sanctuary in Gweek and had a fascinating day there. Food at the Greenhouse was excellent (monkfish), with cheery service, and fish and chips from the van on Friday was very good.

03 September 2016
Lisa, Jon and family, Exmouth, Devon Wow! What a find Bowjy Cottage is. We have enjoyed the most wonderful week here. Thank you for providing such a clean, beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking down to Godrevy Cove, and up the lane and across the ponds to enjoy amazing ice cream at Roskilly's. We loved Porthallow and would definitely recommend a pint of Proper Job and dinner at The Five Pilchards. Our other food delights included pasties (enormous!) at Porthleven and a cream tea at the little café at Kennack Sands. However, our most enjoyable times were sitting in the sunny garden watching the ships go by, meeting the cows and having cheeky little visits from Bron (the dog) who we all loved. We can leave here feeling relaxed and ready to face a new term.

15 June 2018
Jos and Martin, Southampton Great cottage. Loved the space. Very quiet site - perfect for us. Lovely weather. Lots of great places locally. We will be back.

26 August 2017
Sharps family, Hampshire A lovely holiday cottage. We have had a great time Hope to come back next year.

04 May 2018
Nikas, Poonam, Joshita and Manish A great stay. The cottage is quiet but not too quiet to make you feel like you're alone. The location is great. There are so many fascinating things to do in the area.

28 July 2017
Amy, James and Ryan, Bolton A nice relaxing stay - quiet at night. A good base for lots of days out and well equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed St Michael's Mount, Mousehole and Roskilly's ice-cream. The Old Cider Barn just down the road is also good for local produce.

10 September 2017
Jane Talbot, Bucks What fantastic views - one can just sit and watch the squalls pass over the water and the shipping going by. The neighbour's llamas add a touch of the exotic to the view. Pink not my scene but I love the pink kitchen, equipped with everything to cook delicious meals. Most cottages fall down on the kitchen knives and I usually bring my own. Not unpacked it this time. Love the new carpets and the little touches - welcoming cream tea, TV in bedroom, tissues at strategic points..... Also love the light and space and feeling at home. Hope to come again.

30 June 2017
Margaret and George and Tia the dog, South Ayrshire We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage, which is truly a home from home. In over 30 years of holidaying in Cornwall this cottage, with its spectacular views, is at the top! Thank you for the cream tea, which we enjoyed. We hope to be back and will recommend to friends and family.

23 September 2016
Maria and Denis, London Our second stay at Caerthillian House. Very relaxing, beautiful views. Tremendous walks, our favourite being Lizard to Cadgwith along the coastal path - part coastal, part hedgerow, with an abundance of insects and butterflies. Lunch at Cadgwith and, if we are feeling energetic, onwards to Kennack Sands. Flat is so comfortable, well-equipped, clean and light. Will definitely be coming back again.

20 May 2016
Mike and Shirley, Gloucester Have stayed at various holiday homes at the Lizard over the past 20 years, but this cottage has been by far the best: clean, tidy, roomy and welcoming. Thank you for everything, including the Cornish cream tea.

14 August 2015
Karen and Glenn, Birmingham We really enjoyed our week's stay in this beautiful, comfortable house, especially the amazing views. We couldn't have wished for a better positioned place - sea views but in the centre of the village. Thank you for the cream tea too. Hope to return in the not too distant future.

18 August 2017
Kevin and Penny, Stourbridge, West Midlands What an amazing holiday! Caerthillian House exceeded all our expectations. Luxurious home from home. All mod cons and extra little touches, which mean such a lot. Amazing views and we loved the alpacas. We did lots of walking and had the most fabulous holiday. We will be back soon.

25 May 2017
Eve and Nigel Thirlaway, Hampshire Lovely 2 weeks in a brilliant cosy cottage with everything we needed. Views from the balcony spectacular. Home from home - funky kitchen, cosy bed too. Loads of coastal walking and seen 2 choughs at Lizard Point. Going to miss the views and the house so much.

19 August 2016
Ian and Sarah, Penrith, Lake District This wonderful place certainly exceeded our expectations. The cream tea welcome was very much appreciated after a long journey. The view from the lounge is outstanding. Walks along the coastal path and visits to Polpeor Café have made it a special place for us. Weather has been wonderful and has helped make this a memorable holiday.

19 February 2016
Yvonne and Stanley Clarkson, Northamptonshire A truly warm and cosy stay, with panoramic views. The week has been sunny yet again for us here in Cornwall - just one hail storm on our last day. Certainly enough space to store our cycles, walking boots, poles etc - thank you.

22 May 2015
Liz and Malcolm Parry and Dougie, Northants Wow! We love it down here and come every spring. We love walking around the coastal path and found the "5 walks" book here very useful. Plenty of fresh air and exercise, plenty of good food (what a fantastic kitchen!), fantastic views from the house and a really comfy bed. Bliss! The cream tea set the tone - thank you - and Dougie woofs thanks for his biscuits.

28 September 2018
Another magical stay in Cadgwith. Glorious weather, lovely walks and some amazing beaches. Thank you so much for a lovely break.
Colin and Warren, Oxford

07 June 2018
We loved the cottage and had a super holiday. Wonderful cliff walks, amazing flowers and birds, and good food and entertainment at the friendly pub. Thank you so much.
Jeremy and Juliet Moss, Oxfordshire

14 February 2018
Black family, Surrey Thank you for a lovely stay. We stay in Cadgwith a lot but this was the first time at Campion Cottage. We all absolutely loved it. We enjoyed lovely walks and celebrated our daughter's birthday. Even though it said 'no' to a sea view, all you had to do was open the front door and look left. Perfect.

18 August 2017
Hunter family, Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire The whole family loved the cottage and the area. Kayaking from the cove a favourite, also the huge cream tea at the café! Felt like home. Little bits and bobs left really lovely, so thank you.

02 June 2017
Peers-Dent family, Malmesbury, Wiltshire A fabulous week. We particularly enjoyed Kynance Cove (even though it was wet and windy). A trip to Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre also very memorable. Cadgwith itself is charming. Pub quiz Monday nights (we came 2nd!) and good food. Hope to come back.

03 August 2018
We've stayed in lots of Cadgwith Cove cottages and we enjoyed Campion too - good kitchen provisions and thank you for the Treleague Dairy milk. We visited the farm shop a lot - good cream tea there - and good bread from the artisan stall in St Ruan. Great walk Cadgwith to Coverack and then Roskilly's (about 12 miles return trip). Coast is nice for coffee and breakfast in Lizard village and Retallack's good as a deli and butcher. Enjoyed kayaking out of the cove and also boarding at Kennack and Poldhu. Kynance really over-crowded.
The Dyes, Winchester, Hants

25 February 2018
Ali and Tim, Cambridge Such a lovely cottage in an idyllic spot near the beach and the coastal walks, which were spectacular (Mullion Cove to Coverack). Woodburner cosy.

22 September 2017
Colin and Debs, Lapford, Devon Loved the cottage, and Cadgwith. Wonderful walks along the coast path and really enjoyed buying and cooking fresh fish from the cove. Also some good nights in the pub! A great week of de-stressing.

23 June 2017
Melanie and Paul Cook, Salisbury, Wiltshire Loved the cottage and its location. We stayed at Cadgwith 25 years ago and it has not changed. We love it here. Really appreciate the extra touches - flowers, coffee, tea etc.

23 October 2015
N Sutherland and M Trujillo, USA We absolutely loved our time in Cadgwith and wish we could still be there. The cove is a treasure and the cottage a delight. The location was fabulous and the kitchen well appointed. We really appreciated the quality of the cottage and its caretakers. One point...we got lucky with parking close by but the owner really should explore reserving a spot for the cottage nearby. We would love to come back.

08 September 2017
Carlton Cottage exceeded our expectations, especially the well-equipped kitchen. The standard of the cottage is excellent and we will be singing its praises, as well as those of Cadgwith and the surrounding coastline. We have had a fantastic holiday here in Cornwall. PS - the lobsters were unbelievably yummy.

We had a wonderful holiday and the cottage more than exceeded our expectations. We have never stayed at such a well-equipped cottage. Fab location and we will definitely come again.
Debbie Southwood

16 June 2014
Gill Williams It could not have been a more perfect visit. The cottage was immaculate and very well equipped - right down to the torch. The bed was so comfortable and we would love to come again one day.

29 July 2017
We loved everything about Carlton Cottage. The standards are fabulous - we have never been in such a well-appointed place. The weather was not great, but the cottage was!
Jane and Graham

10 September 2016
Mr and Mrs Sparling, Hull Another lovely stay at Carlton Cottage. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and seeing people we know. We had a great time and were sorry to go home.

12 June 2014
Sherrin and Greg, Brisbane, Australia Thank you so much for having us. The cottage is delightful! We loved staying here and don't want to leave. The garden is stunning and the decorations inside are lovely. Jan and Jocelyn were very friendly, warm and welcoming and we will be recommending it to everyone!!

21 September 2018
What a lovely little cottage - felt like home from home. Many thanks for the tea tray, milk and flowers, and for such a warm welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again some time.
Maureen and Nick, Bradford Abbas

17 August 2018
Our first visit to Chenhale - what a lovely cottage in idyllic surroundings. Recommend Sunday lunch at the New Yard restaurant at Trelowarren - after we went we read in the paper that it was the best Sunday lunch in the South West! Thank you for a lovely base for a perfect holiday.
Sue and Simon, Warwickshire

18 May 2018
From the moment we stepped out of the car and heard the bubbling water in the creek and the sound of the birds, we knew this was where we wanted to be. Thank you Sheila and Anthony for your welcome and hospitality. EVERYTHING was just perfect.
Pat and Rob Clark, South Australia

18 October 2017
Without a doubt the most comfortable, snug and well-equipped cottage I have stayed in. Very much enjoyed exploring and fishing in the area. Thank you for your hospitality.
Kevan, Hertfordshire

05 June 2017
A lovely stay in a delightful little cottage. Very peaceful and set in beautiful surroundings. Would recommend to anyone and will certainly be back. Thanks for all the special little touches.
Judi and Andy, Dorset

23 September 2016
Stu and Pat, Oxford People come to Chenhale time and again and it's not hard to see why....The cottage has everything and is one of the cleanest we have encountered in more than 20 years of holidaying in Cornwall. The area is wonderfully peaceful and the walk to the beach a delight. Just a shame the fish weren't biting for me! Our recommendations would be the Greenhouse in St Keverne, Prince of Wales at Newtown and the pub at Cadgwith Cove (good Sunday lunch).

20 May 2016
Gilly and Len, Dorset Thank you so much for a wonderful week in your lovely cottage and for such a warm welcome, as well as all the extra special little touches, which were very much appreciated. We have had a wonderful and very relaxing week in this beautiful part of Cornwall. The cottage is such a peaceful haven, and has such a beautiful garden. Absolute heaven! We can't wait for our next visit.

24 August 2018
As always a lovely welcome to such a cosy cottage. We managed lots of coastal walks, lunches and dinners in the local pubs, and a lovely lunch in the café at Lizard Point. Spectacular views everywhere, and we saw seals again in the local waters. Thank you.
Jenny and Dave, Dorset

13 June 2018
A magical week at Chenhale. Our dream cottage, blessed with wonderful weather - breakfast in the garden watching Mrs Blackbird feed her babies, friendly sparrows and robins - it was as good as 'Springwatch'. We enjoyed good food at the local pubs, and the best scones, meringues, fudge, ice cream etc at Roskilly's. Thank you for your hospitality and for the biscuits and jug of milk - much appreciated. We shall return.
John and Madge, Berkshire

30 March 2018
Despite heavy rain, a wonderful stay at a lovely cottage. What a great place for young couples, and not so young ones! We loved the peace and quiet, and the garden and surroundings. When the sun did shine the birds were calling everywhere. We heard tawny owls each night. Thank you so much - everything was perfect.
Stephen and Dee, Dorset

08 September 2017
Another lovely and relaxing week in this cosy little cottage. Weather quite good, except for one day of rain and fog, but a pleasure to stay warm in the cottage, with books. We hope to be back again soon.
John and Gwen, Somerset

07 November 2016
Sara and Mike Davis, Hampshire What can we say?! The cottage is absolutely fantastic in every respect - it has everything we needed and could have wanted. We had a wonderful time exploring the area. It's so great to be so close to most places on the Lizard peninsula. The walk down to the beach is breathtaking and the views even more so. We loved St Keverne and also the nearby villages of Coverack and Cadgwith. All the locals are so very helpful and friendly - we just ask their advice on anything and they are ever ready to oblige. We hope to come back soon to stay - it feels like a second home for us!

05 August 2016
Emma Ducasse, France A pretty cottage in a peaceful location. Warm welcome with tea, coffee and biscuits and fresh flowers! We loved the veranda. Clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. Excellent area for coastal walks and visits to breathtaking places. I'd like to thank staff at Cadgwith Cove Cottages who were always available and very efficient and friendly. Our only suggestion would be to include a few more basic products for cleaning and/or cooking, particularly for overseas visitors who are not likely to bring those with them. Thanks for a lovely stay.

13 April 2016
Jane and Christopher Fenton, Somerset A delightful stay in peaceful flower-filled surroundings. The primroses just added to the joy of our stay. The cottage is tasteful and comfortable. We will definitely recommend Chenhale to our friends and relatives.

28 September 2018
A lovely, clean and well-equipped bungalow. Many thanks for the flowers and milk. Weather was fantastic, after a wet and windy start. Had a great week exploring the area with Oscar, our very tired dog!
Simon and Diane, Plymouth, Devon

20 July 2018
A lovely, clean, well-presented holiday cottage. An easy walk to the village, with a good selection of craft and food shops. The stone shop is well worth a visit. Our dog, Daisy, loved the enclosed garden. We hope to be back next year.
Brenda and John, Kent

08 June 2018
A lovely, comfy bungalow. Good weather. We have had fantastic walks with our dog, Jess. Fish and chip shop and local pubs all great.
Stanyon family, Somerset

18 August 2017
Frost family, Exeter, Devon We had a fantastic week - thank you. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a great position. We were so grateful for the milk on arrival (and the pretty flowers). Our children enjoyed the garden. We loved being so close to some beautiful beaches, lovely walks and we also enjoyed the Minack Theatre. A great location we will recommend.

04 June 2017
J Clarke and family, Sussex A lovely holiday home - clean, spacious and ideal for everywhere on the Lizard. We have spent a very comfortable time here. Thank you for the extra attention and thought in the way of flowers, milk etc. Everything is immaculate. We would happily recommend this holiday home.

29 July 2016
Chy an Reene was a lovely bungalow, with everything you needed, including space for my in-laws very large dog, Mia. The location was perfect for walks along the coastal path, a pasty at Ann's Pasties or an ice cream in the village. We would definitely return.

18 August 2018
Tony and Jackie Ford, Warwickshire We had an excellent holiday at Chy an Reene. The house was spotless - a great start - and everything that we needed (and more) was available. The enclosed back garden was super dog friendly - it was a massive relief to know that the dog couldn't do a runner. Booking the house was also very easy - all our questions were answered very quickly and accurately. The only slightly negative thing was that the WiFi was very slow, but at least it meant we didn't feel the urge to keep checking for e-mails etc while on holiday.

22 June 2018
Home from home. A super two weeks. Weather, walks, food and ice cream. Enjoyed the garden birds - blackbirds, thrush, goldfinches. A very comfortable and spacious bungalow, well-equipped and clean. Thank you.
Julia and Gerald, Tenby, Pembrokeshire

06 April 2018
Another perfect stay at Chy an Reene. It is such an ideal location, and perfect garden and conservatory for the dogs. I am sure we will be back (again) next year!
Woolliams family, High Wycombe

11 August 2017
Woolliams family, High Wycombe, Bucks We have had a fantastic holiday as always on the Lizard. The dogs had a wonderful time and it was ideal for them in the garden. A special thank you for the wine and beautiful flowers (still going after 2 weeks!)

19 May 2017
Mrs J Barnes, Tenby A lovely holiday at Chy an Reene. The accommodation was comfortable, well appointed and very clean. It was most convenient for the village, being 5 minutes walk from the green and ideal by car for anywhere else. Everyone we met was pleasant and most helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again.

20 September 2019
We had a wonderful week in Corner House - such a lovely, characterful and charming cottage. There was so much history and quirkiness, but also everything you could ask for in a holiday cottage (and all of it working, including the excellent WiFi). It couldn't have been more cosy and comfortable - perfect in every way, including the weather. We will definitely be back.
Mr and Mrs Jones, West Sussex

03 April 2015
Cadgwith cove is a delightful place to stay, with great walks both inland and along the coast paths. The pub is friendly, with good food and beer, and could not be much closer to Corner House. The cottage is interesting and quirky. In March it is a bit cold unless sitting close to the open fire as the night storage heating is a bit ineffective for the size of the cottage. We had lovely weather but very cold nights. Corner House would benefit from the addition of one or two lamps in the living room that would be bright enough to read by. Overall an enjoyable stay in a beautiful place.

23 August 2014
The Oldhams + guests Perfect - love the pictures, photos, lamps, range, big door key, views, cosiness - just everything. Goodbye little house - we have really loved staying here.

25 March 2016
Kirsten Smith, Herts A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Lovely warm bedding - more than adequate for the cold nights during our stay. Easy to light fire - perfect for evenings in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cadgwith.

01 November 2014
The Waight family Lovely, cosy, warm cottage. Lovely, friendly locals. Warm weather! What more could you wish for. Thank you xxx.

14 June 2014
The 'Duarte-Davies clan' A brilliant week full of coastal adventures and sunshine. Wouldn't have been the same without a cosy welcoming Cadgwith cottage to rest our heads each night! A beautiful unspoilt spot that should never change.

30 May 2014
Tony Bowler Had a lovely week at the cottage nice welcome lovely cream tea and cut flowers in Cosy Cottage. Everything one needed. If you wanted a rest from cooking Liz has a cafe area breakfast, through to an evening meal very enjoyable stay.Everyone friendly and helpful.

13 July 2013
Wow - we have had a lovely time at Cosy Cottage and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We didn't leave The Lizard for the first week, with plenty of lovely walks, coves and places to explore!

10 August 2013
We have had a wonderful week. A very warm welcome on arrival and friendly and helpful throughout the week. The cottage is cosy and has really helped us to relax. With so much to see and do we haven't left the Lizard peninsula.

08 April 2013
Richard and Pauline Warden Cosy Cottage has lived up to its name - despite the cold weather. Recommend a visit to Lizard Lighthouse. Also Helston Museum is amazing - like a Tardis and free!

06 March 2015
I have no hesitation recommending this cottage. For us, the location was perfect. The cottage is warm, the beds are comfortable - we felt at home right away. The children were safe to wander to the shop and green area.

06 November 2014
Creekside is a lovely cottage and the perfect place for exploring Cornwall. It is very cosy and homely and offers all that you need for a family holiday. It is near some glorious beaches, but also not far from towns like Falmouth, Truro, St Ives. There are plenty of attractions nearby to amuse the children in case of bad weather. Also plenty of lovely pubs and restaurants to keep the adults happy!

27 February 2015
Creekside Cottage was just perfect for our stay in Cornwall. The cottage was beautifully appointed, with lovely features including a range, Victorian style fireplace and wooden shutters...and that was just in the lounge! With a conservatory, two very good sized double bedrooms, a bunk room and a lovely large bathroom with shower and roll-top bath, we really couldn't have wished for anything more. Fiona and Simon, the owners, did everything to make our stay perfect, from leaving us a bunch of tulips and a cream tea, to coming to check everything was OK and we weren't needing anything. All in all a truly memorable holiday.

20 September 2014
Creekside is a fantastic little terraced cottage in a lovely Cornish village - very close to the shop, which sells lovely fresh bread and all the essentials. The pub is really close by, with good food and beers. On arrival there was a cream tea and fresh flowers, which was very welcoming. The cottage is light and airy and had everything we needed. All in all we had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

07 September 2019
Congratulations, Alice, you have transformed the house with your renovations. It was a great pleasure to stay here for a week and we intend to come back next year for a fortnight. We love the new lay-out, and the secluded garden and conservatory with a lovely view down to the village and the sea beyond. We look forward to another relaxing stay next year.
Mike and Sue Turner, Preston, Lancashire

06 July 2019
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creggan Veor, visiting our favourite haunts and discovering new walks. The house was extremely comfortable - well-equipped and welcoming - and was well placed within walking distance of the shops and village. We particularly enjoyed the conservatory, terrace and view down to the cove.
Mrs L Leek, Shropshire

04 May 2019
Fabulous. Enjoyed the week thoroughly. Delightful house to return to every day. Peaceful and comfortable, with lovely views down to the cove.
Sally Bishop, Rugby

09 June 2018
Rolf Schilling, Germany We very much enjoyed our stay in Cornwall. Creggan Veor is a particularly beautiful and comfortable house, with a great view over Cadgwith Cove. We also appreciated the quietness and the countryside. We liked the small village of Cadgwith and the Cadgwith Cove Inn so much. We also liked the Cadgwith Fish Seller, where we bought excellent fish and scallops. I am sure that one day we will return to this place.

19 May 2018
Liz Wilkes, Surrey We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage. It is very well equipped and we loved the view when having breakfast in bed. The sunny weather helped us have a great holiday wandering the cliffs among the gorgeous wild flowers. We will certainly be returning and will recommend it to friends.

29 April 2016
A lovely stay at Creggan Veor. We enjoyed the setting, the garden, the nearness to the cove and the excellent village shop. Also the very well equipped kitchen. The porch door was stuck when we arrived and we could not access the key but a kind neighbour came to our rescue. We hope to return to this lovely house and the Lizard peninsula.

17 October 2015
Stephen and Lorraine, Wilts Another brilliant week at your fabulous cottage. Weather has been very warm all week. We did the walk to Kennack Sands and saw the Devil's Frying Pan by starting at Ruan Minor (much easier than starting at Cadgwith!) Thank you for your well-thought out welcoming gifts. We hope to stay again soon.

12 September 2015
Peter and Joan Staple A very pleasant and comfortable stay. Every detail thought of. The kind 'gifts' were very much appreciated.

08 August 2015
The Tulk family We have had a wonderful holiday. Brilliant location, fabulous view and a perfect home from home for us. Can't wait to come back next summer.

27 July 2019
We had a marvellous two weeks of holiday. The house was more than good. Really everything you need in a normal household is available. The kitchen and both bathrooms are more than luxurious. 100% satisfaction (with one exception - my wife and I are very tall and the bed, although comfortable, was not really big enough for us). We would very much like to come back, but do not know what next year brings.
Ferry, Christel, Merel and Brechje, the Netherlands

22 June 2019
Creggan Veor is gorgeous - beautifully appointed with new kitchen and showers, nice spacious rooms. Linens/towels changed after a week. Views are to die for, especially from the conservatory, where we practically lived when home. Lovely welcome flowers, milk, wine and other treats, and quick responses when we needed them. Thank you for a great stay.
Patricia Kingaby, USA

22 September 2018
Neil and Ann, London Creggan Veor is a beautiful, extremely well-appointed house in a perfect location a few hundred yards above the Cornish coastal path, with fine views over picturesque Cadgwith Cove. On our arrival we really appreciated the wine and traditional Cornish saffron buns our host had thoughtfully provided. As we perched on the rocky outcrop dividing Cadgwith Cove, the sight of dozens of gannets feeding half-a-mile offshore was unforgettable. We'll definitely return.

26 May 2018
Colin Sabine, Staffs How did we manage to get such a sunny week and such a wonderful house to stay in as Creggan Veor. Our fifth house at Cadgwith and the best we have stayed in so far.

10 March 2018
Peter Hart, Kent Another lovely stay at Creggan Veor - I never tire of staying there. I liked the new en-suite bathroom upstairs too. A very restful visit including a trip to the beautiful Godolphin Manor - well worth it just for that.

24 October 2015
Mr P Hart, Kent Never get tired of staying in this lovely old house. I think this is the sixth time.

03 October 2015
Nick and Angie, North Devon We have had a fantastic fortnight and been blessed with gorgeous weather. Lovely walks every day and relaxing evenings enjoying the sunsets. Thank you for the welcome gifts - very much appreciated. This is our second stay at Creggan Veor and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

22 August 2015
Roy and Jany We have just spent the best week of our lives in this place. The house, the pub, the sea, the shop - all boxes ticked. Thank you. Thank you.

06 April 2018
The Hall family, Northants Another lovely holiday on the Lizard. We have revisited our favourite paths, as well as explored some new routes, trying to dodge the mud and slippery patches - sometimes unsuccessfully! It has been a very pleasant house to stay in. The yard and utility room have been useful for dealing with muddy boots. Thank you.

19 May 2017
Kiera Fletcher, Henley-on-Thames Arrived in the Lizard after navigating the myriad of roads that lead one here - great views on the way down though. Beautiful cottage - more than we expected. With more than a hard week's work to shake off, it was the perfect place. We will definitely come again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

18 March 2016
Magical cottage, magical place. Would love to rent again. Really enjoyed our stay.

20 August 2015
Leopold family, Germany Very nice cottage. We have had a wonderful week in England. Thank you.

01 June 2015
Susan Bellman, Holland Dolphin Cottage has a wonderful location in the village centre. The cottage was excellent - all we needed was present. Thank you for the flowers - a lovely gesture. We came for a holiday and left not wanting to go home.

14 July 2017
Martin, Nic and Archie the retriever Lovely cottage, even better weather and dog-friendly pubs within walking distance! Shame there isn't a seat at the front to catch the evening sun.

02 September 2016
Mike Andrews, Derbyshire We had a fabulous holiday at Dolphin Cottage. The cottage had a beautiful feel and everything worked well. The location was fabulous. One request...a mirror in the bathroom - it is hard shaving without one.

13 November 2015
Lovely cosy cottage - the fires have been great in the cold weather. Lovely walks around the coast to Kynance Cove, Church Cove and Cadgwith, all from the cottage.

10 July 2015
Reynolds family and Jaz, South Wales Amazing cottage and location! Very enjoyable stay - it was fantastic to bring our dog Jaz and go on some lovely walks. Thanks very much.

22 May 2015
Amazing cottage and location! Very enjoyable stay - it was fantastic to be able to bring our dog and go on lovely walks. Thanks very much.

01 September 2019
This was our first stay at Dummer's Loft but certainly won't be our last. We couldn't have wished for a better location. To be able to leave all the windows and doors open to hear the sounds of the sea and the working boats was truly magical. And 58 steps to the pub was a major bonus!! Just loved the cosy feeling and practicality of the living area and were really impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the whole place. Comfiest bed in Cornwall. We would highly recommend a visit.
Mark and Samantha Shaw

22 February 2019
We loved Dummer's Loft. It was very comfortable and tastefully decorated and the kitchen was extremely well equipped, with nice sharp knives, a good selection of cookware and utensils and even a few dishwasher tabs etc - little, inexpensive touches, but much appreciated, as were the coffee, tea bags and Cornish biscuits. The caretaker rang on our first night to check we were OK and had everything we needed - again a really nice and thoughtful customer gesture. The sound system was great and the woodburner pumped out a lot of heat, making the cottage very cosy in the evenings. The front door was a bit of an issue - it took a certain knack to get it locked - but apparently that is in hand. All in all a fantastic week. The weather was an absolute bonus and the cottage was in the perfect location to enjoy watching the waves and tide in the bay. We would definitely go back.
Mr and Mrs Ross, South Gloucestershire

26 October 2018
A superb stay at a truly lovely location! The house was perfect and had everything we could have wished for. Having 2 bathrooms is a great addition to the property, and under-floor heating an added bonus. We used the log burner on a couple of occasions when the temperature dropped in the evening and the loft was very cosy. Thank you for making our stay such a memorable one.
Mrs Carolyn Witts, Twickenham

01 July 2019
We've stayed at Dummer's Loft 3 or 4 times now and love it. It's all about 'location, location, location' - beautiful village, right on the beach. So cosy with the log burner - rain or shine it doesn't matter. A new wonderfully equipped kitchen, fantastic new bed and bedroom with views out to sea, and within staggering distance of the brilliant Cadgwith Cove Inn - what more could you ask for! We've also bought a number of paintings from Nigel Legge, a local fisherman and artist who has a small gallery on The Todden.
Judith Wildblood

25 January 2019
We had a wonderful time at Dummer's Loft. The cottage is very comfortable and well-equipped. The oven was great, but for someone used to an Aga took quite a lot of trial and error to master. We look forward to returning.
Ian and Lynn Neilson, Devon

01 September 2018
Cecily Donnelly, Oxfordshire We had the most fantastic time at Henry's Croft. We thought the house was beautifully decorated and it has everything you could possibly need in terms of amenities. The lady that came to clean at the end of our stay was also lovely. We will definitely be staying again and telling all our friends!

02 September 2017
Kerry Byrne and family, South Cambridgeshire and Cheshire What a wonderful holiday cottage! We have loved staying here and exploring the Lizard. The place and cottage have exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful, comfortable stay. We hope to return one day.

19 August 2017
Sanna/Hole family, Kent This house is perfectly located and has everything you need. We have experienced so much, despite the weather being varied. We have Segway'd, cliff walked, kayaked, cliff dived, explored mines and eaten the nicest fish from the village shop. The cream tea at the chocolate factory café is 5 star. All this on the doorstep! Us 3 adults and 2 teenagers are reluctantly saying goodbye to the Lizard and this lovely house.

29 July 2017
The Muir/Brodkin family, Godalming, Surrey Members of the family have stayed in the Lizard area on a regular basis over the past 60 years. We are now introducing this beautiful county to the younger members of the family. Henry's Croft has been a particularly comfortable, clean and well equipped base, and we will certainly recommend it to others. We really appreciated the very welcome cream tea on our arrival. During our stay we found the location of the house handy to pop out for a morning paper, milk etc. We walked from the house down to the cliff path and on to a variety of beaches. So much to do and see. We hope to return before long.

30 June 2017
Janice Gale, Basingstoke Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Henry's Croft. Very comfortable and well equipped. Excellent base for exploring the Lizard. Wonderful view from master bedroom - would not hesitate to re-book or recommend.

29 June 2018
Kaye Evans, Hants We had a fabulous week in the cottage, which was comfortable and very well equipped. And the weather was amazing! Wonderful coast path walking and a great village with two friendly pubs. Would definitely return!

26 August 2017
Sam Bonsell and boys, Southwell, Notts What a perfect place! I've been coming to the Lizard most of my life and stayed in numerous cottages (including Lizard lighthouse!) but this house has to be one of the best. It's beautiful and so well equipped. I loved the Juliet balcony. The cream tea on arrival was just perfect, as was the note - very thoughtful. It's a real gem and I hope to stay here again very soon.

12 August 2017
Angela and Mike Raper and boys, Suffolk We had a lovely time at Henry's Croft - our second visit to the house. It's a super base from which to explore The Lizard and its many coves and villages/towns, in particular Kynance, Poldhu and Church coves, also Porthleven, Mullion and Falmouth. A boat trip from Falmouth to Truro is a 'must' if you have good weather. We've had a very comfortable stay at Henry's Croft and we'll certainly be back!

08 July 2017
The Withrington family, Cambridgeshire and London We have stayed in the Lizard before but this was the most spacious and well-appointed house - all 'mod cons'. Great views from upstairs windows. Our youngest member, aged 4, loved playing in the outside space, where we could sit and have a cup of tea or glass of wine.

04 February 2017
Mr and Mrs Abel, Retford Henry's Croft was the perfect base for exploring the Lizard. The coastal path was easily accessible and the area ideal for walkers. We can also recommend the homemade pasties and cream teas in the village! The property is extremely comfortable and well equipped, with a high standard of cleanliness and tasteful decoration. Great to come back to after a day out. We would recommend it to others without hesitation.

28 December 2017
D Heaton, Cheshire We had a fab Christmas at Ivywell. The house size allowed the whole family and grandchildren to enjoy ourselves without being overcrowded, despite us filling all the beds! Beautiful house, great place, great holiday....

18 August 2017
Murphy family, Surrey and Suffolk A great family week: three generations and dogs relaxed and enjoyed the wonderful surroundings. The weather was kind to us, enabling a couple of great beach days. Hope to visit again soon for more peace and quiet.

07 July 2017
Morris family, Surrey and Alberta, Canada We were absolutely delighted with the house on arrival. Everyone enjoyed the space and the number of common rooms, and particularly a large table to play board games etc. We have enjoyed kayaking from Cadgwith Cove - exploring the sea caves and seeing the seals - a lovely walk at Kynance and a tasty visit to Roskilly's for wood-fired pizza and ice-cream. We have stayed in a few places of this size and this is far and away the nicest house of its kind that we have stayed in as a group. Thank you.

14 April 2017
The Higginson clan, Bristol, Norfolk and Ipswich Fantastic house and location. Beautiful walks with our dogs. Village shop very well stocked. Pasties from Leggy's excellent. Fabulous stay - thank you very much.

26 August 2016
Mrs McBride, Bristol We really enjoyed our time in Ivywell and would definitely return. Great garden, lovely big table for family meals in the kitchen and the table tennis table was excellent fun. The décor and furniture was comfortable, if rather dated - a more modern 'makeover' would be my preference.

15 September 2017
Howell and Hughes families, Malvern and Birmingham Beautiful house - such a great space to live, laugh and love. Surrounding area stunning, with fluctuating weather making it even more enjoyable. Many great memories....sad to be leaving....hope to return!

04 August 2017
Smith and Sampson families, Cardiff and Canterbury Despite typical British weather we had a lovely time. The house was spacious so we were able to spread out on rainy days, when sitting in the conservatory was a favourite thing to do. Went for lots of walks around the Lizard - Kennack Sands is a favourite beach and the far beach is perfect for dogs. Some of us also went coasteering, on fishing trips, to Flambards and the Seal Sanctuary, and to Poldhu. Missed Kynance, so hope to come back next year. A lovely family holiday.

28 April 2017
Flemings and Wallis', London, Melbourne and Devon Wonderful location, lovely walks, good shop and pub. Very relaxing - the perfect family stay. Ivywell has so much space and feels like a home. We all enjoyed the wonderful garden, the stroll to Cadgwith and the reading in the conservatory. We will be back.

30 September 2016
Michelle B, Sheffield Lovely family home, lots of space - our 18-month-old grandson loved to run around in it! The local pub was fab (Cadgwith Cove), food was lovely. Bought fresh fish from the cove. We had a lovely, relaxing holiday and will recommend it to other people.

29 July 2016
Cowans, Crowthers, Harewoods - Staffordshire, East Lothian and Kent Brilliant family holiday home. Garden great fun. Not to be missed: fishing trip with Nigel; Wednesday BBQ in the cove; Leggy's excellent pasties; and, if you are as lucky as us, plenty of stargazing. Thank you to all.

24 March 2019
We had a lovely time at Jimmer's Loft. The accommodation was warm, clean, with a very nice well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. It was lovely to find a bottle of red wine on arrival. We had a good night in the Cadgwith Cove Inn, with some tasty fish and chips, listening to the Cadgwith Singers, and a nice cream tea at the Old Cellars just around the corner. We have been to the Lizard area a few times now and this was a lovely base for our usual trips out. I would recommend the property (just be aware that it can be tight getting in and out of the passageway leading to the parking space with a large car) and would use Cadgwith Cove Cottages again.
Mr and Mrs Fisher, Glossop

14 September 2018
What a view. We have loved staying at the loft. Lots of local walks and a must is the Seal Sanctuary. Thank you.
Liz and Steve, Devon

27 July 2018
We have enjoyed a fantastic holiday in Cadgwith. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable, with a homely feel. We enjoyed a number of local walks, and an amazing trip to the Minack Theatre. Also visited the Seal Sanctuary, Roskilly's Farm (best ice-cream and a really enjoyable courtyard) and Coverack harbour. The Cadgwith inn is good, but the best meal out was Coast at Lizard Point. We would love to come back at some stage in the future.

31 May 2018
The end of 8 amazing days here in Cadgwith and for the first time since being a child I have cried this morning because we have to leave! Jimmer's has been a brilliant base and home for our holiday - so well-equipped and comfortable. Top tips for places to visit: the Seal Sanctuary, Kynance Cove, Kennack Sands, Poldhu Beach, Helford and Porthleven (lifeboat launch at 6.30pm on Tuesdays). And we've enjoyed a number of meals at the Cadgwith Cove Inn.

James and Sonia Fletcher, Isles of Scilly Lovely flat - well-equipped and cracking views. Great stay, thank you.

22 September 2017
Catherine Wray, Lincolnshire We had a wonderful holiday at Jimmer's Loft. The accommodation was superb - neat and tidy. The kitchen was modern and perfect for us to cook the delicious fresh fish bought from the shop just down the alley. The piece de resistance was the view - just beautiful - we loved watching all the activities in the bay, the big ships going past as well as the sailing boats. Thanks to Richard and Elizabeth for giving us this first time opportunity to visit Cadgwith Cove. We will be back next year.

25 August 2017
Mrs Stothart, W Yorks Had a fantastic holiday. Great, well-equipped property in a fantastic location. Many thanks.

16 April 2017
The Corneys, London Lovely house, with amazing views and lots of space. We had everything we needed, including table football for the kids, and would definitely come again. We loved our stay in Cadgwith - the village is very charming and we enjoyed some amazing food and entertainment at the Cadgwith Cove Inn. Stunning coast path walks to Lizard, Kennack Sands.... we didn't want to go home.

21 September 2018
Ideal holiday accommodation, improved by overlooking the sea and giving an insight into the local fishing industry. Thank you.
Chris and Sally Isherwood, West Sussex

17 August 2018
A lovely stay at Jimmer's Loft. All was very comfortable and the caretaker was very helpful with any extra queries. One suggestion: Lizard Adventure offers lessons in surfing, kayaking and survival skills. The sea kayaking leaves from right next to the cottage and is brilliant - great fun for the family and extra needs are not a problem. The baker at St Ruan is great too - bakes to order and also has a stand outside his house. We will return.
The Barrett family, London

06 July 2018
Lovely apartment, lovely position, lovely village, lovely holiday. Thank you.
Mr and Mrs Coxhead, Sleaford, Lincolnshire

18 May 2018
Lovely holiday. Locals very welcoming. Beautiful flat - wonderful views. Will come again.
Stenning family, Pewsey, Wiltshire

13 October 2017
Brenda Henderson, Bromsgrove We had the very best week's break at Jimmer's Loft. We stayed in Cadgwith to celebrate my birthday and it could not have been a better place. Jimmer's Loft had everything we could possibly want - very well equipped and more than enough of everything needed in the kitchen etc for five adults (not always the case in holiday lets!) Being right in the heart of Cadgwith was a real delight and we made full use of the Cadgwith Inn! One of the highlights was the sea shanties on Friday evening - the other was failing to win the quiz night, though we had huge fun! We will definitely be back.

08 September 2017
Colin Sabine, Staffs The cottage was wonderful. The fact we could park the car outside was a bonus. Operating instructions for the TV would be useful, as we found it difficult to get sorted.

23 May 2017
Hilary, Emma and Tom, Essex Thank you for an amazing stay in this lovely flat. We had more than enough space and plenty of toys for Tom. We really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, where we prepared our sea-inspired meals. A stunning place.

18 August 2017
Alison Richardson, Surrey A lovely cosy cottage. I particularly liked the proximity to the cove - a 10-minute walk, if that, and ideal for the morning dog walk. Handy having the owners on site, and a handy little shop in the village - ideal to call in and pick up a freshly baked croissant on the morning dog walk. The cottage is very quiet and extremely well equipped, with a lovely enclosed courtyard garden. I would recommend to others.

29 July 2016
Caroline and David, Wantage, Oxfordshire Lovely cottage, lovely local bread, fish, dairy and pubs! Lovely!

04 October 2016
Jenny Keen, Devon An idyllic four days in this lovely little cottage. Very stylish with very good quality fixtures and fittings. Duck down duvet over a very comfortable double bed dressed in quality bed linen. Very comfortable armchairs and fully fitted kitchen with everything needed. The shower room is big and modern with double sized shower cubicle. The patio garden outside the double french doors catches the sun and is fully dog proof. The owners, Pam and Paul, were very friendly and helpful, but didn't intrude at all. Pam had left a delicious victoria sandwich cake in the fridge, which was most welcome. Loved every minute of our stay and we're hoping to return in May to enjoy the wild flowers on the walk down the footpath into the village.

04 September 2015
Mr and Mrs Pearson, Worcestershire A lovely week at Little Barn. The cottage has everything you need. We particularly liked being able to take our dog and the fact that the little garden area was completely dog proof and also very private. We even had marvellous weather!

06 October 2017
Brian Bailey, Essex Another delightful stay at Little Fernleigh. The property is excellent and a great base for exploring the coastal path and local villages.

25 September 2015
Sue Fowler, Herts We had a lovely week at Little Fernleigh and wish we could have stayed longer. We particularly liked the location, the peace and quiet, the fantastic views and the fact that the place was so welcoming. It would have been helpful to have WiFi, especially as our car broke down, but thanks to Roger (the caretaker) who phoned and arranged repairs to the car.

19 August 2016
Mrs Margaret Watson, Blackburn We had an excellent stay at Little Fernleigh. The accommodation was good. I would stay there again - it's a place where you could live quite happily. Thank you for everything.

11 April 2014
Mrs C Redif We really enjoyed our week in Coverack at this property and would recommend Cadgwith Cove Cottages as a company for self-catering. We particularly liked the position of the house, the comfortable beds and being able to call Roger, the caretaker, when the heating was not working. He was extremely helpful and friendly.

21 September 2018
Angie and Peter, Berkshire Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely, quaint, cosy cottage with fantastic sea views. Didn't want to go anywhere else. Hope to return next year for a longer stay.

10 August 2018
Dean and Christine, Oxfordshire Our third stay at Little Todden - our first holiday together in 1991, our honeymoon in 1993 and now our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Such a magical place! Fantastic weather, great walks and fab food at the pub.

16 December 2017
Mick Hyde, Rochdale Our stay at Little Todden was fantastic. Lovely warm cottage, easy to control heating system using the latest tech. Amazing how much could be fitted in to a small place. Good quality contents and definitely the best equipped kitchen that I have seen in any rental property. Everyone in the local pub was very friendly as well, and we had a good laugh at the quiz night.

30 June 2017
Theresa and Peter Gunter, Switzerland Another very happy stay at Little Todden. Thanks to the beautiful weather in the first two weeks we were outside walking and visiting places or relaxing 'at home' all day, which did us a world of good. The cottage was clean and we found everything we needed. We especially appreciate the change of linen and towels every week. The only slight drawback is the mattress - for a longer stay we would appreciate a 'proper' mattress which keeps its form a bit better. We love Cadgwith and Little Todden and would like to return if at all possible!

14 October 2016
Ann and Andrew, Bideford, Devon We have been coming to beautiful Cadgwith for many years - first time we have stayed at Little Todden. How wonderful to stay in this little thatched cottage looking out to sea. Little Todden seems to wrap its arms around you, keeping you happy, cosy and comfy. What a magical week! Thank you, Anna, for the beautiful sweet peas and the milk. We met the little robin too. Hopefully we will return.

29 July 2016
I have been coming to Cadgwith my whole life and stayed in various cottages. We have always had a great experience but I was pleasantly surprised by Little Todden being such a hidden gem. It has been the perfect place and I will now be a regular visitor to this cottage. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

15 July 2016
Felicity and Nicholas, London Little Todden is perfect. Our first stay on the Todden (though not in Cadgwith) - so special to be able to stay here in particular. We have had a fantastic holiday and such a dream to be able to open the stable door each morning to the sea. Will be back no doubt.

19 February 2016
John and Julie Sullivan A cosy and perfect cottage in an idyllic position. We had a wonderful time - we visited for a rest and got just that. Perfect.

14 September 2018
Kelly and Alastair, The Lake District We have been to Cadgwith many times but our first time at Little Todden. A perfect little quirky cottage - very handy for fishing (we caught mackerel, bass, pollock and a big ballan wrasse). The robin visited every day. We can't wait to return. One week was not long enough!

15 June 2018
Stella and Alan, Sheffield Gorgeous cottage. Amazing weather. Loads to do. Absolutely love Cadgwith and first time staying in this place. 100% would stay again.

15 September 2017
Pam and Alan Barnes, Glos Wonderful location. Cottage full of character in a working fishing village. Excellent location for exploring the Lizard peninsula and coastal path. Spiral staircase a bit tricky for people of a certain age (like us!) We really enjoyed our stay.

21 October 2016
Lesley and Toby, Fresignac, France A perfect little cottage. Cosy, fab views and a great little garden to sit and watch the tides come and go. A fantastic base for walking and close to the great local pub! Hope to be back one day.

07 October 2016
Vera and Roger Adams, Cambridgeshire Our first visit to Cadgwith was in the very, very hot summer of 1976. This is our return trip after approx. 40 years and we have not been disappointed, as well as greatly surprised at how little it has changed. Our stay at Little Todden has only enhanced our love of this cove and we will certainly be returning.

22 July 2016
Alies and Hans Sint, Germany Our second time in this beautiful, peaceful little house at the sea. We were looking forward to "the world around Little Todden" so much, and we enjoyed it even more because this place is just all we need. We are happy here.

23 April 2016
Sue Smith, Norfolk We have just come home from an amazing week staying at Little Todden. What a beautiful relaxing place and friendly community. Little Todden was perfect and we are already planning to return.

27 April 2019
We were all absolutely enchanted with our stay at Long Loft. The village, the site of the house and the house itself are all spectacular. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival, well appointed with bed linen and towels, and the welcome basket of local food was much appreciated. We have not had enough positive things to say about our time in Cadgwith. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer! If we were pressed to find a minor negative point, the kitchen could do with a few more pans [note: these have now been supplied by the owners]. Thank you very much for an excellent holiday. We have every intention of returning.
J Magidoff, Paris, France

14 September 2018
Kay, David and Milly, Bucks Loved our time at Long Loft - such a beautiful place and loved sunbathing out on the balcony! The views are amazing. We loved listening to the Cadgwith Singers on Friday night down the pub. Highlights were: Sennen Cove and beach, Kynance Cove, Helford River beach day, eating at Wavecrest café at the Most Southerly Point while the sun went down, and the most amazing sea bass from the lovely man in the village who sells fresh fish every day. Thank you!

17 August 2018
'The Mrs Ross Poldark group' The enchantments of Cadgwith had us all bewitched. The sounds of the sea and the air lulled us into relaxing, and the plentiful walks kept the more energetic enlivened. Cadgwith and Long Loft truly do awaken the senses and soothe the soul. The Mrs Ross Poldark group will be sure to return.

07 July 2017
The Annis family, Gloucestershire We loved Long Loft. The most beautiful holiday cottage we have stayed in. Amazing location, comfy beds. Views exceptional. Victoria completely lovely.

16 June 2017
Mr Sinclair, Devon EXCEPTIONAL. It would be easy to get carried away; the location of Long Loft is unrivalled, the interior styling and sense of space are beautiful and the overall feeling of peace and tranquillity just wonderful.

14 October 2018
Long Loft sits directly above Little Beach in Cadgwith and enjoys unrivalled views across the whole cove. The views from the two main bedrooms and terraces are breathtaking. The website photos do not do the location justice. We were two couples and the arrangement of the double bedrooms at each end of the house ensures privacy. We had a great stay, enjoying both beautiful sunny days and storm-watching during a two-day storm with winds gusting to 70mph and crashing waves below the east-facing terrace. The coast path runs right behind the property and we walked along the path to Poltesco and Carleon Cove in the east and Lizard Point in the west. Long Loft is well-equipped and warm, with outdoor terraces providing great locations for relaxing. Our one criticism...a downstairs loo would have been very welcome!
Peter Emms, Cornwall

02 September 2018
Mary-Anne Edwards, Dorset Long Loft is a very special property and so well managed. Its location and renovation is perfect. The kids and husband loved popping down to the rocks every night to fish for their supper. Elliot (the caretaker) was really thoughtful. The only disappointment was coming home!

10 August 2018
The Pextons, Kent Had the most amazing week, and beautiful weather, for our wedding. We love Cadgwith and now are very much in love with Long Loft. It will be a special place to us - the house, the views, the courtyard, everything was spot on and the little extra bits, such as flowers and food hampers, were very much appreciated. Long Loft...we will see you next year. Thank you for a luxurious setting. It was a magical week all round, including the weather! The added touches around the house were a good extra. Magical! See you next year.

30 June 2017
Tina and Steve, stayed 10 - 15 June 2017 Victoria, thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful home. The style, space and serenity of Long Loft will stay with us for a long time. P.S. Tina Turner must have been thinking of Long Loft when she sang "Simply the best, better than all the rest".

02 June 2017
Peter Davies, Leicester In 50 years of visiting Cadgwith, Long Loft has been the best house ever for our holiday. It has been beautiful, spectacular inside and out. Victoria has been a wonderful hostess. Looking forward to coming back soon.

10 September 2014
My husband and I stayed for a week at Meadowside with our 1-year-old retriever, Barney. The accommodation was excellent - comfortable and very homely. The 'little extras' that Fiona and Simon (the owners) thought of make the bungalow more endearing. Thank you for the lovely scones, and the milk in the fridge to be able to make a cup of tea after a long journey was most welcome. We didn't venture far during our stay, but the coastal walks around The Lizard are breathtaking. We had some lovely meals - the Halzephron Inn, Henleys and the Ship Inn to name a few - very good value for money and excellent food. All in all a fantastic holiday which I would recommend to anyone.

17 August 2013
This was our second visit to Meadowside and even better than the first. Meadowside is like home from home but with a beach, everything that you need and a lovely arrival of flowers and cream tea. We had a lovely week away with two young children with lots to do every day in Cornwall.

16 September 2013
An excellent base for exploring The Lizard. Garden was excellent for our 2 dogs. We will definitely return to Meadowside.

03 January 2018
Fergus and Jacky, London We very much enjoyed staying at Moonsail and found the house roomy and pleasant. It was also a comfortable space to accommodate 4 adults and a baby. Our only quibbles: it was a bit short on basic pots and pans and cooking implements; and it would be better if the heating could be controlled from inside Moonsail rather than from the main house. Overall we were very happy and would certainly think about staying at Moonsail again.

09 November 2018
Our first time at Mordros Cottage - what a beautiful cottage. Our stay has been wonderful. Thank you to the Richards family - so welcoming and kind, everything has been perfect. It has been good to see the rough seas, and the walking we have done. Food good as always. Would love to come back next year.
Antony and Karen, Wiltshire

27 July 2018
Susanna and Keith, Leicestershire We really loved our stay at Mordros. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed meeting the dogs. The site is lovely and it's nice to have some neighbours to chat with from the other holiday cottages. The cottage itself was really comfortable and they had really thought about what was needed in terms of kitchen equipment and layout too. We also liked the use of the outside area for drying clothes and for sitting in the shade in the incredibly hot weather. The best part had to be the short walk to our own 'private' beach where we saw a grand total of about 10 people in all the times we visited, and one friendly seal too. We had a great holiday.

31 May 2018
Such a welcoming stay at Mordros Cottage - a lovely 'get away from it all'. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet and the lovely sea view. The children particularly enjoyed wading through the field to their own 'private' beach, as they called it! Wonderful climbing on the rocks and a little bit of rock pooling as well. Always lovely to come back to our cosy cottage at the end of the day, rain or shine. We have eaten lots of Roskilly's ice cream - a new flavour every day and also enjoyed Kennack Sands, lovely for swimming, the Seal Sanctuary and the idyllic Helford River. We would very much like to visit Chenhale Farm again.
Beth, Joshua and Isabelle, Dorchester, Dorset

11 August 2017
The Arrowsmith family, N Yorks We loved the location and the quietness of Mordros Cottage. We felt the kitchen equipment was very basic and a few more household/kitchen essentials would have been useful. We have used Cadgwith Cove Cottages before and look forward to our next visit.

07 October 2016
Carol and John, Sherborne, Dorset Our first visit to Mordros Cottage. We were very impressed with the bright and spacious living/sitting room and the lovely flowers on the table. A very relaxing week (with no phone reception, which was very welcome!) We'll certainly be back again.

12 August 2016
Suzanne, John, Gabbi and Sofia, Stratford-upon-Avon Our holiday got off to a flying start when we arrived at Mordros Cottage to a very warm welcome and flowers on the table. The cottage and location have been a gem of a find this year and we would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. The beach/sea view - and at the end of the footpath too - were a great bonus. We couldn't go without a BBQ on the beach one evening. Family times are special these days and we were blessed with good weather and leave having made more happy memories. We hope to return one day soon.

15 July 2016
Claire, KJ and family, Eastbourne Thank you for a wonderful stay. We really appreciated the location - being near to the sea and south west coastal path. Loved seeing the seals at the nearby coves and Roskilly's ice cream at 'Archie's Loft'. We also really appreciated the beautiful garden, with the exotic plants and flora front and back. We also liked the 'special touches' in the cottage and the scrupulously clean environment. The weather was good all week, apart from one day - all in all a memorable holiday for us this year.

07 September 2018
A lovely stay at Mordros Cottage, which has proved most comfortable. A real home from home, helped by the very warm welcome. Good weather and lovely walk down to Godrevy for swimming. All very relaxing.
Gwen and John, Taunton

20 July 2018
Not enough superlatives to describe our wonderful holiday at Mordros. Our second visit, but hopefully not our last. One special mention when it comes to eating out - the Fat Apples café and their crab sandwiches extraordinaire.
Caroline and Neil, Wiltshire

15 September 2017
Dev Jaffe, Lewes We had a wonderful stay at Mordros Cottage. The cottage was beautifully kitted out, cosy and felt very homely. The farm is quiet, the beach lovely and the whole area stunning. We will be back.

21 July 2017
What a beautifully appointed barn conversion - well equipped and lovely soft furnishings. Also very comfortable, and a lovely view as a bonus. A wonderful stay in a wonderful location. We will return!
Richard and Julie, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands

23 September 2016
Keith and Anita Wood Excellent accommodation - well furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. This has been a good base over the past 2 weeks for exploring western Cornwall. Lovely hosts, who have all made us very welcome. Recommend 'Coast' restaurant at the Lizard and 'Fat Apples' café on the way to Porthallow.

29 July 2016
Jo, Richard, Harry and Joseph, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex This was our first visit to Mordros Cottage in this magical little place. The cottage and its surroundings surpassed all our expectations - it is a very special place. The cottage has been a comfortable, cosy and clean little hideaway, with everything we could have asked for. We've had a wonderful week. We've explored, from Roskilly's ice cream close by to the Minack Theatre, as well as finding wonderful coves and spotting seals from Lizard Point. Thank you for being great hosts and for creating this little magic hideaway.

14 September 2018
A lovely cottage. Since the 1950s, my family and I have enjoyed many visits to the village and the surrounding area, but the sunset over Bass Point has never been equalled anywhere. Plus the cream teas and the pasties. Thank you for your welcome and for sharing your lovely home. Now in my early eighties and hoping to make many more visits....God willing!
Alan, Angela and Tony, the Midlands and Black Country

29 June 2018
We have stayed on the Lizard lots of times and have walked past Old Coastguard Cottage and thought how lovely it was. We all agreed that it lived up to expectations - so relaxing, with a very lovely feel from the moment you walk through the door. It has been a real privilege to be able to stay here.
Small and Mulley families

29 September 2017
What a wonderful cottage. So cosy and comfortable to return to after a day on the wonderful Lizard peninsula. We will definitely be back.
Linda and Martin James, East Sussex

29 October 2016
The Colliers + Marshall the dog, Derbyshire Had a lovely week - cottage spacious and well-equipped. We enjoyed our coastal walks, pasties and ice creams. Will definitely recommend this cottage to others.

12 August 2016
The Pyatts, Lovells and Sam the boxer, Cheshire What a fabulous two weeks we have had! There were only a couple of bad weather days and the rest was very warm. Velvyn was the perfect host - cream tea very welcoming. Highlights were the coastal walks - Lizard Point to Kynance Cove and Lizard Point to Cadgwith. The Witchball in the village was our favourite place to eat - the lobster and crab were wonderful. The Halzephron Inn and the Cadgwith Cove Inn were great places to eat too. We loved the cottage as a base in a beautiful location. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

22 July 2016
Becky and Peter Morris + Herbie and Wilfie One word - perfect. The respite we needed. The cottage and gardens were much enjoyed. Idyllic. And what views! Could not have asked for more (including the amazing weather!) Thank you, Velvyn. We hope to return to this retreat next year.

20 May 2016
Nicola Jones, Montgomery We were very happy at Old Coastguard Cottage. The weather was very changeable during our stay but it was a lovely house and garden to sit in and just enjoy. If we couldn't walk, we stayed put! We particularly liked the location of the house - it was quiet, but well situated for shops and pubs and also central to many local walks, which meant we could leave the car mostly at home and walk. Working WiFi would have been helpful, and we found it difficult parking in the driveway, but overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

17 August 2018
Lovely cottage. Comfortable and spacious. Sea views from every bedroom! Lots of good dog walks from the house. Very enjoyable stay.
Abbey, Graham and family

25 May 2018
A surprisingly large cottage. Wonderful views. Lovely area of Cornwall. The children loved it. A lovely holiday, with some lovely memories. Will definitely be back.
John, Victoria, Thomas and Kiera

14 April 2017
Spacious, clean, great location. In a magical part of the world. Great food at the local pub and the Coast bistro. Must visit Kynance, and walk to Cadgwith - 2 hours but worth it!
The Sheldons and Bert the dog

19 August 2016
The Robinsons + Pepper the dog We have had a lovely week in this cottage - the only complaint is that the week has gone too fast! We've had lovely coastal walks around the Lizard and Mullion and visited St Michael's Mount, Trebah Gardens and Porthleven. Need to go home for a rest now! Would definitely stay in this lovely cottage again. Thank you for making it so welcoming.

29 July 2016
Diane and Clive Barltrop and family, Hertfordshire We have been coming to the Lizard for the past 16 years as it is a very special place for us. We have our favourite bays and coastal walks and love the stunning coastline. This beautiful cottage has been perfect for us in every way - clean, spacious, all our needs anticipated and very welcoming. Thank you so much for your attention to detail - it made all the difference to us and we have enjoyed a wonderful week. The cottage has felt like home and we will definitely look forward to coming back.

14 July 2016
The Coupers, Bristol What a wonderful spot for exploring The Lizard - an area of natural beauty indeed! We loved exploring the coves and beaches on the peninsula from the coastal path. St Michael's Mount and the Minack theatre were also highlights. The cottage was immaculate and we honestly couldn't think of anything you hadn't thought of providing. The pretty enclosed garden was perfect. We have all had a memorable and happy holiday.

26 June 2016
Mrs Ball, Dorset The cottage was spacious, very comfortable and well-equipped. Comfortable beds and loads of storage space. Ideal location for a week of walking the coast path. We loved it - shame we were moving on past The Lizard for our next week's walking otherwise we would have booked again with no hesitation.

01 November 2014
We have had a wonderful time. Been out and about and managed to find our favourite pasty place. Good food and evenings in the "White Hart". The Old Forge is a lovely, well-equipped cottage, and very comfortable.

03 August 2014
We had a lovely week at One the Old Forge. We were pleased with everything about the property - it was perfect. We hope to use another of your cottages next year.

07 April 2013
We have once again enjoyed a lovely week and even the weather behaved. We have always felt "at home" as soon as we have opened the kitchen door. Since we have been coming here we have made many friends.

02 April 2015
Superb accommodation and a lovely village. Able to visit our "old" haunts - Padstow, Treyarnon, St Ives and the Minack Theatre. Thank you for the use of your lovely house. Hope to be back again.

08 September 2014
A very comfortable and relaxing place to come "home" to after a day's touring - in a quiet and friendly village. What a wonderful cottage - spotlessly clean and everything we needed. Loved St Keverne and its folk - so friendly.

15 May 2013
A wonderful few days! Beautiful house, lovely sunny days and picture-postcard scenery. We all loved it.

03 September 2016
Jeanette, Andy, Jaz, Jack and Stitch the dog We've had a magical time in Cadgwith - such a special place. The only place in Cornwall we feel part of the community. Loved the Cadgwith inn - very friendly and great food. Kennack Sands lovely with the dog. The weather was amazing all week. The cottage was lovely - really cosy and quaint. Wonderful.

14 May 2016
Colin and Lorraine Walton, Lincolnshire Had a great week in this lovely cottage. Location super - easy to nip to either of 'The Coves' - the beach or the pub! Coastal walks nearly every day. Mullion to Poldhu Cove very good and food at beach café at Poldhu excellent. Best walk Housel Bay to Kynance Cove - marvellous views and even a couple of seals, but no chough...

18 February 2015
Jane, Jeremy, Archie and Lizzy (and hounds!) Thank you for a fantastic break - perfect location; pub, beach and walks, stunning scenery. Pebbles cottage is lovely and homely - ideal for us all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will recommend Pebbles and look forward to our return. Thank you for the wine and flowers.

19 November 2014
A wonderful cottage in a beautiful village. There is nothing contrived about this cottage - it's so comfortable and well equipped that it feels as if you are borrowing it from a friend rather than renting through strangers. The Cornish cream tea on arrival is a lovely touch. It's lovely to be woken up to the sound of the waves and seagulls, rather than the mobile phone ringing. The pub next door serves good beer, very good food and the staff and locals are always happy to point you in the direction of some good walks and sightseeing opportunities. Can't wait to come back again.

18 October 2014
Adrian, Annie and Louisa Fabulous week in your lovely cottage. Very cosy and warm, with lots of interesting features. Cream tea on arrival was a wonderful idea. Weather has been generally kind and absolutely love the cove and its people. Highly recommend Pebbles to others. Pub is also very good and only 10 seconds from the cottage via the gate!

09 July 2016
Owen, Urs, Luke, Jenny, Stratford on Avon Lovely week staying in very homely Pebbles. Weather changeable. Some great walks along the coastal paths. Kynance beach absolutely amazing. The bottle of wine and milk were appreciated - a nice touch. If you like riding, try Newton equestrian at Mullion - lovely countryside for a hack and a great beach ride.

03 October 2015
Chris, Kate, Megan and Annie, Shrewsbury, Shropshire We have had such a lovely holiday staying in Pebbles. Cadgwith is beautiful and all the local coves and walks are lovely. Pebbles is so cosy and quaint. We would love to return. The flowers and scones were a lovely extra. We will have fond memories of our stay here.

14 February 2015
Brown family Thank you for letting us stay in Pebbles. We have had the most gorgeous time - weather and family fun. The flowers and scones on arrival are so lovely and just add even more to making our holiday so special. We have stayed in Cadgwith a few times now and just love it, but Pebbles has been our favourite cottage so far - so cosy, homely and clean and so near the pub and beach. We will return here.

27 October 2014
Spent a very enjoyable week in Pebbles - a lovely fisherman's cottage in the heart of Cadgwith Cove. It offers the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. The cottage is well appointed, with a cosy lounge with woodburner, and lovely bedrooms with pristine bedding. With WiFi and Sky HD and the cove only one minute away, what more could you wish for. We will definitely be revisiting! Thanks to Fiona and Simon (the owners) for providing us with some great memories. We would strongly recommend Pebbles.

01 August 2014
The Roe family Cadgwith is one of the most magical places we have been to. Love the cove, the locals and the eating establishments. We have all had a very relaxing time. In fact the kids wants to stay!!

29 August 2019
Lovely stay - perfect for coastal walks, local beaches and beauty spots.
Collett family, Oxon

10 August 2019
What a lovely bungalow - the perfect base for Kennack Sands, Kynance Cove and Lizard Point. Everything we needed. Perfect place to chill too! Love Cadgwith - it's a little gem. We all had a fab time. Penmaur is home from home. We will definitely be back.
Amanda and Nigel, Hereford

21 August 2019
A long trip from Italy to this lovely place. We really had a fab holiday. The bungalow was perfect and we loved everything we visited in Cornwall. Thank you for everything!
Nardiello family, Modena, Italy

02 September 2018
Mr H MacGibbon, London We enjoyed our stay at Pink Cottage enormously. The location is wonderful, with that beautiful view down to the cove, and just a few paces from the centre of a lovely village. My son and two daughters enjoyed it as much as I did. It was a happy return to a place of which I have so many affectionate memories from my childhood. We'd be very happy to come again.

27 July 2018
Thank you for a wonderful stay in Pink Cottage. We have visited Cadgwith many times now and this is our first time in this cottage. We all loved it, from the wonderful vistas to being on the doorstep of Little Beach. We have not used our car for the whole week. The cottage has wonderful views and I believe it is the best in Cadgwith. Thank you again.

08 October 2017
Jan and Rob Francis, Somerset Another wonderful stay at Pink Cottage (our fifth time). The cottage is so well maintained and managed - a real pleasure to stay there. Many thanks again, and we now look forward to our stay in Cadgwith next August.

19 February 2017
Nic and Linda Fleming, Bristol Another glorious week in Cadgwith. We really enjoyed our stay at Pink Cottage and appreciated how well equipped the kitchen is, with pastry brushes, gravy boats and the like. Mesmeric views at the front of course. We had a big wave show on our first night, and great weather for the rest of the week. Managed to get some hake and crab from one of the guys on the beach - both delicious of course. Two trips to Kynance - best beach in the UK in my opinion. Also, an entertaining evening at the pub on Friday - thanks to all the singers.

11 September 2016
Andrew and Julie Courtis, Cheshire We have stayed many times in many different places and parts of Cornwall, but Pink Cottage, Cadgwith has to be the most magical - our quest for the perfect holiday home and location is over!! We will be back! Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

05 June 2016
The Chalk family, York We have had a fantastic week. Thank you for sharing Pink Cottage. We have been visiting Cadgwith for many years but it is the first time staying here. We visited all our favourite places and basically didn't even leave the Lizard! The cottage is well situated and well equipped. If you ever think of selling, please give us a call!

29 July 2018
Black family, Surrey Pink Cottage has the perfect location and is well equipped. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely look to book another stay, especially as we could see the mackerel coming in from the patio and therefore plan a successful fishing trip down on the Todden! We also bought numerous loaves from the artisan bread stall at St Ruan and loved them.

22 July 2018
Three weeks of glorious sunshine. Swimmers without wet suits and sand on Little Beach. Just like 1976. The new kitchen seems to work well. Hopefully the weather forecast is right and this will continue. P.S. Watch out for the young buzzard eyeing up the sparrows. It sits on Long Loft's roof.

17 June 2017
Sensational stay in Cadgwith Pink Cottage. It ticked all the boxes, especially the terrace looking out to sea. We've had brilliant weather, making it even more supberb. Had a couple of meals in the pub - Helen and Garry tremendous hosts with good seafood. We will be back - a bit smitten. Oh .. and for a taste of good art, visit the Jackson Foundation in St Just to see Kurt's work. P>S> The kitchen looks good, hob and cooker work well.

30 October 2016
Emma, Ellie, Sam, Dave, Grandpa, Westernhanger, Kent Thank you again for such a lovely time. So comfortable; spectacular views; table tennis was great fun - so good when the weather is poor.

21 August 2016
Margaret, Richard and family, Hertfordshire Gorgeous sun, stormy seas, fun times in the cove.....Thank you Pink Cottage for amazing views and a very happy holiday.

27 March 2016
Mr Brinkmann, Germany We had a wonderful time in a wonderful place in a wonderful cottage.

12 January 2019
We had a lovely stay in Portside (Ship Cottage). It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Also, we were surprised how warm the cottage was, even taking into account the mild weather we had. Thank you.
K Sunley, Derbyshire

11 January 2019
Another wonderful New Year stay (our 11th in Rose Cottage). Weather has been mild - still so good for walking - and there have been four good folk music sessions in the pub. What more could we ask for?!
Alison and Mike Fearey, Northampton

26 October 2018
The cottage was absolutely lovely. The location was perfect and everyone was so friendly. My six-year-old daughter and I had a fab time. The weather was amazing. We will definitely come back.
Rachel and Matilda, Peterborough

24 August 2018
Absolutely loved the holiday at Rose Cottage - perfect accommodation in the ideal setting. Enjoyed cooking on the oil range very much and our boys had no problem working out how to use the TV. Never a dull moment in the cove! Great atmosphere. Our favourite thing is snorkelling and jumping off rocks in Cadgwith. Thanks for having us.
The Gradwell family, Frome, Somerset

03 August 2018
Rose Cottage is a comfortable, charming house, and a very pleasant place to be. We've tried most others in Cadgwith, but will return to Rose. Very good exhibition at Penlee Gallery, Penzance, and excellent cream tea at Treleague Farm, Ruan Minor, with well-stocked deli-type shop.
Mary and Martin Copp, Ringwood, Hampshire

08 June 2018
M Hughes, Cardiff We have been to Cornwall many times but this was our first trip to the Lizard peninsula. Cadgwith is a beautiful and peaceful Cornish fishing village with an excellent pub. Rose Cottage is cosy and had everything we could want. A lovely old Cornish cottage, ideal for us and our four-legged friend. We had a lovely week.

28 December 2017
Matt Payne, Devon Had a great time at Rose over Christmas - the cottage is really warm and cosy. Two points: the remote for the TV/DVD is very complicated, and the sofas are very uncomfortable. [Note from the owner - new sofas and a new TV are being installed - Jan 2018.]

05 August 2017
The Hunter family, Cambridge We had a lovely time in Cadgwith. Best bits were bodyboarding at Kennack Sands and skimming stones in the cove. We enjoyed staying in Rose Cottage - its proximity to the sea is fantastic. One thing to note: the bedroom is very hot!

16 December 2016
John and Max Watkins and Rocky the Scottie, Surrey We love coming to Cadgwith, but our first stay at Rose Cottage. Christmas-time in the village is really special. We love all the lights and the cosy feel - as the cottage has been. We look forward to returning next year to our usual 'haunt' in Cadgwith, which is a similarly wonderful place to while away the days....

09 September 2016
Julie and John, and Bert, Worcester Walking in, this place was perfect. First night (Friday) at the pub - great singing. Beautiful walks, Bert swimming, Sunday at the pub - more singing - seafood and fish on tap - Cornish atmosphere abounded. Memories of my youth and holidays in Cornwall returned. The air is so clear and the light fantastic. We can see, breathe and smell properly now!

25 March 2016
Kim Griffiths We had another wonderful stay and hope to return many more times. We love how cosy and homely Rose Cottage is. The new stove is very impressive and we love the HUGE bath. The local people are really welcoming - friendly and chatty.

28 December 2018
Our ninth Christmas in Cadgwith - first time staying at Rose Cottage. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Will recommend to friends and family, and we will, of course, come back to Cadgwith. (Did initially have a problem with the TV but worked it out eventually).
Julie and David and Norman the dog, Derbyshire

19 October 2018
We have visited Cadgwith every October for the last few years but our first stay in Rose Cottage. Lovely warm cosy cottage, well-equipped and fantastic location. Warm, friendly locals make the stay worthwhile. We will be back again to Rose Cottage without a doubt. Love the pub - lovely staff, great food and always look forward to folk night and quiz night. Thank you for a memorable stay.
Kerry, Trevor and Robyn, Cheltenham, Glos

17 August 2018
Our third stay in Cadgwith - the best cottage we've stayed in. Love the pub, shanty singers, music. The Cadgwith BBQ is fantastic Beautiful walks/runs along the coast path. See you next year.
Newham family, Cambridge

29 June 2018
A beautiful week - very warm and very sunny. Thank you for the scones! New sofas much more comfortable than the old ones. TV difficult as usual - we have written instructions for operation in the Visitors Book. Lovely visit to Bonython Estate Gardens, and good meals at the Black Swan in Gweek and the Halzephron Inn at Gunwalloe. Much enjoyed our stay.
Dave and Hilary, Merriott, Somerset

13 April 2018
Melanie Jones, Worcestershire We had an amazing stay. We loved the cottage. It was so special and we would go again in a heartbeat. It was just what I needed to recharge my batteries.

08 September 2017
Debbie, Dave and Benji, Lincolnshire What a gem - both the cove and the cottage (best cottage we've stayed in). We didn't want to go home, least of all Benji the Labrador!

14 July 2017
Mr and Mrs Payton, Plymouth Beautiful cottage. We all had a lovely stay and hope to come back in the future. Cadgwith has hardly changed since we last came 35 years ago. We did find the main bedroom very hot in warm weather but overall we had a wonderful stay.

16 September 2016
Lynne, Chris and Poppy, Newton Abbot, Devon Lovely week in Cadgwith and the surrounding area. Beautiful coastline walks - our dogs loved the freedom. Cottage is very cosy and has all we could want for our stay. People very friendly, had some great food and evenings at the pub but unfortunately didn't win the quiz! We will definitely be back.

18 June 2016
Sara, Jacob and Bea, East Dulwich, London We have had a really lovely holiday. Cadgwith has been beautiful as always. My parents have stayed in Rose Cottage before and loved it. It has been cosy and perfectly located. Thank you very much.

05 October 2018
A lovely week at Seawatch. I really liked the cottage and the garden, and especially the lovely view down to the sea. The art work in the house was thoughtfully presented and enhanced the character and atmosphere of the place. I was surprised to find that the fire was the only form of heating in the living room, which could perhaps be an issue out of season for anyone finding it difficult to get coal and logs to the cottage. Using the fire added a great deal of enjoyment to my holiday. I felt very much at home at Seawatch and would like to return some time.
Jo Jeavons, North Yorkshire

13 May 2016
Mr Duckworth, Lancashire The cottage and Cadgwith were fantastic. We loved the view, the airiness of the cottage, the large garden and the finish of the living room. Just one suggestion - with only one bathroom on the lower level it would be worthwhile putting an ensuite into one of the other bedrooms for ease of access when upstairs.

25 September 2015
Mr N Hunt, Somerset We loved everything about Seawatch, and in particular the fact that it did not appear as a holiday home. One suggestion - could do with softer cushions on the 2-seater settee. Can we also add that we have never dealt with such a helpful and friendly holiday company - thank you.

27 June 2014
Bob and Christine, Upminster, Essex Absolutely fantastic! The cottage is beautiful and so homely. Views to die for and we have been so lucky with the weather. We would definitely recommend this location and cottage to family and friends. Everyone is just so friendly and welcoming.

15 September 2017
Mrs Jones, Hampshire Seawatch is a lovely cottage - everything you need for your holiday to go smoothly. The views are perfect. Have been coming to Cadgwith for so long it is like a home from home, and Seawatch made it even more so. Thank you.

08 April 2016
Mr Hunt, Devon We had a great time at Seawatch. We loved the very tasteful décor and the homely feel. The caretaker was very helpful when we had a door lock problem. The main bedroom bed mattress was not very comfortable and the bed was very creaky, but nonetheless we would like to come back again one day.

27 December 2014
Marianne, Mark, Edie and Ted, Beeston, Nottingham. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay at Seawatch. We definitely recommend this lovely house. There are comfy beds, a crackling warm fire, wonderful views of glistening sea from the double bedroom upstairs. Cadgwith is a lovely village, as we have found out many times before (we have been coming for over 11 years). We have also been to Seawatch 4 times now. Edie (11 years).

16 August 2019
Sharkey's Cottage was perfect. It was spacious, comfortable, within easy distance of the sea and the Cadgwith Cove Inn. The only thing that would have made it better was staying another week.
Mrs C Togden and family, Vale of Glamorgan

24 May 2019
We absolutely loved our visit to Sharkey's Cottage. It's a really great house and exceeded our expectations. There really are no negatives. We have visited Cadgwith for the past 5 years and this is definitely the best place we have stayed bar none. We look forward to revisiting.
Brian M, Chesham, Bucks

07 December 2018
Absolutely fantastic accommodation. Thank you so much. We hope to return in the spring.
Andrea and Shaun, Axmouth, Devon

26 September 2018
Welcome to a small corner of paradise. Wonderful place, wonderful people. Five star!
Walter and Carol, Essex

19 July 2019
We very much enjoyed Sharkey's Cottage. It surpassed our expectations and was much bigger than we thought - ideal for two couples as there is plenty of space and rooms to be together or have time in your own space. The views from the outdoor dining area are beautiful, as are the views from the house generally. It was exceptionally clean and bright - a real joy to stay in. We didn't need the log burners but imagine it is a very cosy cottage in the winter as well. Thank you from all of us.
Mr M Murrells, Rochester, Kent

09 April 2019
We had a lovely stay in Sharkey's Cottage. Apart from a few bumped heads on occasions, we enjoyed the cottage immensely. It was lovely to arrive at a cottage that was so clean and kept in a lovely condition. Having been to Cadgwith before we knew what to expect, but the position of Sharkey's was excellent in comparison. Our difficulties with the hot water were resolved by a great heating engineer/plumber who worked to identify the problem and sought a short term solution for us. We loved having a plentiful supply of logs for the fire, as well as excellent WiFi. My only criticism is of the mattress on one bed, which seemed rather on the cheaper side [now rectified by the owner]. However, the rest of the cottage made up for that and we hope to book again for next year.
M Cassell, Newton Abbot, Devon

31 October 2018
Fantastic location. Well-equipped, excellent accommodation. We'll be back!
Langford and Welsh, Nailsworth

25 May 2019
We had a lovely stay at Ship Cottage - our second visit and just as nice as we remembered from three years ago. It's such a comfortable house - so well equipped and with lots of homely extras and interesting books to read! And it was lovely and clean. Thank you also to Cadgwith Cove Cottages, who always provide such a helpful service.
Cathy R, Stroud, Glos

08 September 2018
Ship Cottage was lovely - clean, spacious and with everything we needed. It was also in a perfect location. We had a wonderful week and will definitely be returning next year.
Nuressa and Andy, Solihull

Colin and Mary Walkington, Bristol A wonderful week at Ship Cottage. We love the idyllic spot here. The weather was excellent. We hope to return!

31 October 2015
Gilbert, Hodges, Nicholson Another lovely week in Cadgwith in this fantastic house. Good walks, visits to the pub and time with wonderful friends.

29 December 2018
A great time was had by all. The house itself is beautiful - spacious and very well situated. The new carpets and soft furnishings were lovely. It is always a pleasure to visit, whatever the weather. This time we visited Land's End, Roskilly's ice-cream bar and Gunwalloe Cove. We cannot wait to go back again. Thanks Debbie and staff for a wonderful holiday period.
Linda Faragher, Sutton Coldfield

23 June 2018
Jason Hurwitz, West Sussex We had a great week at Ship Cottage. The cottage is well kept and clean, ideal for two families, and in a great location in the heart of a beautiful village.

05 August 2017
Jones family, Lincoln Just had a great two weeks. Lovely cottage and village. Had a fantastic time in the Cadgwith Cove Inn - would highly recommend it. Cottage very comfortable. Can't wait to return.

28 December 2016
Faragher family, West Midlands Another lovely holiday at Ship Cottage. Weather good, the Ship as lovely as ever. Hope to be back in 2017. Missing it already....

04 April 2015
Fellows/Macguire/Coleman Wonderful week - delightful cottage! The Ship is well equipped and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The area is wonderful and we walked the coastal paths so much we actually wore out the dog (a Springer!) Saw a pod of dolphins one morning - very magical, beautiful and inspirational.

25 May 2019
We had a fantastic week in Smyrna. The weather was amazing - couldn't have wished for better. The house had pretty much anything you would need and was very clean. Having no mobile signal ensured peace and tranquillity - husband and friend were frequent visitors to the pub - us girls happy to just sit in the garden to read and chill. I would highly recommend to anyone, and in fact I have!
Lyn Knight, Hereford

06 April 2019
We always love staying at Smyrna and found the recently undertaken renovations really welcome. The choice of furnishings is first class. The cottage is fantastically positioned in the centre of Cadgwith village and we love to see all the comings and goings of life there. We look forward to our future stays at Smyrna this year - it really does feel like a second home to us.
Mr and Mrs Watkins, Surrey

14 January 2018
Claudia Chester, Hants We all loved Smyrna and Cadgwith. The cottage was perfect - better than we could have hoped and even better in real life than it looked on the website. Cadgwith is unbelievably lovely and the wild weather just added to its dramatic beauty. We'd love to come back one day.

09 September 2017
Ian Clay, Cheshire A lovely stay in Cadgwith, and particularly at Smyrna. I would rank it as one of the best cottages we have stayed in. It has a very comfortable layout and was always warm. The kitchen/dining was particularly good and always encouraged a "sit down at the table" rather than eating from a tray. Parking was also good, spacious and secure without being too far from the cottage. My only niggle was a lack of sufficient pans (and lids), although we managed. We look forward to visiting Cadgwith again next year.

15 July 2017
Paul Tregunna, Australia Just a brilliant old world cottage, beautifully updated inside. All amenities you would have at home. Very spacious for a country cottage and great location by the sea (and pub). Have now stayed in four of Cadgwith Cove Cottages' properties and never been disappointed. Very comforting, having travelled from Australia.

24 June 2017
Mike Morgan, West Midlands A fantastic holiday, with the best weather ever! Cottage was great - very comfortable and well equipped. The best cottage in Cadgwith. Reading the cottage visitors' book we came across an entry from the late 1980s where the previous owners of our house in Stourbridge stayed at Smyrna. What are the chances of that!! Thanks again and look forward to booking with you again.

11 May 2019
We always enjoy going to Cadgwith in the spring and this year was no exception. We particularly enjoyed Smyrna this year as the new furniture was extremely comfortable and we thought the colours and fabrics used for the blinds, cushions and carpets really enhanced the old cottage. Opening up the fireplace in the living room and installing the electric woodburner makes the room appear more spacious, and the stripping of the stonework made an enormous difference. Charles and Jo (the caretakers) are very attentive and helpful and make the cottage very welcoming for our arrival. We have had a very long association with Cadgwith Cove Cottages and we hope to continue this. Thank you to all.
Trevor and Wendy, Buckinghamshire

29 September 2018
We very much enjoyed our stay at Smyrna. The cottage was perfect - picturesque and characterful and also well equipped. It is in a great position to explore the wonderful unspoilt village of Cadgwith and the rest of the beautiful Lizard. We will definitely be coming back.
S Cook, Haywards Heath

04 November 2017
Ruth Richardson, Berkshire Each time we visit Cadgwith it gets better and better. This visit the highlight was the artisan bread, baked locally. Smyrna was a delight as normal and Cadgwith Cove Cottages is a very well run, professional company.

26 August 2017
The Hamblins, Wiltshire We had the most wonderful stay at Smyrna. It's our second time with Cadgwith Cove Cottages and this cottage was just fabulous. The location was magical. Cadgwith has the ability of taking life's stresses away! Many thanks for letting us share it.

08 July 2017
David Cunningham, Staffs Terrific, and a lovely property. Thoroughly enjoyed it, which is why we are returning for a week in late October!

10 June 2017
Kath and Paul Absolom, Northants We had a lovely week in the cottage, which was, as always, beautifully looked after by Charles and Jo. They were also more than helpful when the WiFi/landline broke down and BT had to be called. This was rectified within 24 hours, thanks to very prompt attention by Charles and Jo and BT. We would say that the Cadgwith Inn we found to be rather expensive now and the food not quite so good, although we couldn't have had a better welcome from Helen and Gary and staff and it was lovely to see them again.

01 July 2017
Jackie Cadwallader, Manchester Spring Tide is a lovely place to stay, especially if you prefer peace and quiet. The cottage was ideal for our needs and very dog friendly. Would recommend this cottage to anyone.

08 October 2016
Jenny, Dave and Brian, Gloucestershire What a lovely place to stay in - bright, clean, so welcoming. We have loved the Lizard - so many places to explore and the weather has been so kind to us. Cadgwith is a jewel - everyone so friendly. Brian the dog has loved the walks nearby. Many thanks again.

13 August 2016
The Millers, Cambridgeshire A delight to come in to a real Cornish welcome of a cream tea, wine and a great place to relax and enjoy our holiday. Check out the regular Wednesday barbecue in Cadgwith Cove - we had shark! Great walks from the doorstep - obviously Cadgwith is a must, but also check out Poltesco and the coastal path. Kynance is stunning, especially at low tide. Our eldest enjoyed a surf lesson with the surf school at Poldhu, while we enjoyed hot chocolate and pizza at the beach café. Also ventured further afield, but wherever our adventures took us it was great to come back to Spring Tide - we wish we could stay another week.

21 May 2016
Bob and Lesley and Holly the dog, Staffordshire A warm and comfortable cottage in a lovely location. A lovely surprise of a welcome pack - very much appreciated after a long drive. Even a little snack for our dog - a lovely touch. We did lots of exploring and different walks. Just not enough time! Will be back again. Simply lovely.

19 September 2015
Audrey and John Whitehouse, West Midlands We have stopped in some places but I must say this is one of the best places we have stopped in. We had a lovely day in Cadgwith Cove - such a beautiful place. It seems such a shame we have to go home. Hope to be back down here soon.

29 August 2015
Dye family, Suffolk Lovely property with all we needed for a week away. Location excellent and we loved the village and Cadgwith Cove. Great local walks for the dog.

08 August 2015
The Hawley family A lovely base to explore the area from. Comfortable, welcoming and beautifully clean. Many thanks for the lovely cream tea and the bottle of wine. The garden is a peaceful sun trap.

04 July 2015
John and Kathy, Bristol We were privileged to be the first guests in Spring Tide. We loved it! It is very tastefully designed and decorated. It was always nice to come back to after a heavy day's walking. It is clean, bright and nicely furnished. The welcome goodies were very much liked and appreciated - thank you. And thank you also for the other bits and help you gave us during the week. We hope to be back soon.

28 November 2016
Alan and Emma Hunt, Stirling What a great find! After a long journey from Scotland we arrived to a warm, clean and welcoming Spring Tide. Your lovely hideaway was just excellent for us, with everything we needed. We will be back when it's a little warmer and when we can enjoy the walks and beaches. Thanks again for a lovely stay. We will tell others.

27 August 2016
Sally, Jamie, Dexter (4) and Sam (1) Thank you for a lovely stay. The cream tea (and bottle of wine) was much needed after two days travelling from Sunderland with two small children. The kids have loved their stay, as have we. The cottage is perfectly located and we have enjoyed seeing something new every day. Highlights have been Kynance, Glendurgan and a walk down to Cadgwith to see the fishing boats.

18 June 2016
Roger and Pearl Page, Hampshire We have had a wonderful, relaxing holiday in this delightful holiday apartment. Thank you for the excellent welcome goodies, which we enjoyed very much. We were given a very warm welcome at the parish church and also at Angela's cream tea. After a week here and visiting several places we have to say that Lizard Point was the place we most enjoyed and visited more than once. We hope to return.

22 December 2015
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. There was plenty of room for all of us and added extras to make it Christmassy. The cottage was very warm and comfortable and provided everything that we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

02 September 2015
Figg family, Kent What a wonderful stay we have had here in Spring Tide cottage. The cream tea on arrival was such a beautiful touch and extremely delicious. We were made to feel really welcome by Dom and Alison (the owners). We will certainly miss our walks to Cadgwith Cove. The children enjoyed kayaking at Coverack followed by local pasties. Thanks again for a really relaxing stay here in delightful Spring Tide.

15 August 2015
Miller family, Cambridgeshire What a beautiful and welcoming cottage. Thank you for such a lovely surprise of scones - our very own cream tea - and a much welcome bottle of wine - great touch. The walks into and around Cadgwith are well worth the effort up and down the hills for the views. Take a look at the Devil's Frying Pan if you have the time. We also enjoyed the locally caught fish and crabs. Kynance Cove and Mullion Cove are great to explore, and Kota Kai restaurant in Porthleven was also good for the whole family. Thank you for such a lovely and relaxing holiday in a perfect cottage.

01 August 2015
The Cleaves, Bristol As always we have had an idyllic time down here on The Lizard. Spring Tide has had a wonderful re-vamp since our last stay here 2 years ago and it has provided us with the perfect base from which to enjoy all the beautiful scenery. We have had everything we could possibly need (aside from some plastic crockery to save your lovely china!!) and everything was beautifully clean. The cream tea and wine was a lovely touch and much appreciated. We hope to be back next year.

09 August 2019
A fantastic 2 weeks at Stoneturner's Cottage. Every time we turned around there was something else in the cottage to make life a luxury. The attention to detail is amazing. Would highly recommend.
Mr and Mrs Coates, Derbyshire

18 February 2018
What a little gem! Perfect location, very quiet and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Daisy and Jack loved the bunk beds and the woodburner was very cosy. For a cold February, the cottage was so warm and tucked away. All the local things to see were right on the doorstep. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Darren, Emma, Daisy and Jack

22 September 2017
Lorna and Kenneth, Hampshire First visit to the Lizard - we loved being able to walk to so many beautiful bays. Cottage was well equipped and very comfortable - a great base for exploring SW Cornwall. Weather was excellent - warm and sunny apart from a wet Wednesday but we still managed a walk near Land's End. Would recommend Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens near Penzance. Loved our week here - we'll be back.

04 August 2017
Chris, Hannah, Maisy and Gwenllian, Cardiff Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely cottage. We have had a wonderful time bodyboarding at Poldhu Cove, eating pasties from Ann's shop, visiting the Cornwall museum in Truro, a boat trip in Falmouth, a tour of the Lizard lighthouse, a coastal walk to Kynance Cove and going to Mousehole and Marazion. We have undertaken extensive research and decided that Treleaven's ice-cream is the best! (Tip - rhubarb crumble flavour!)

16 June 2017
Carole and Clive, Manchester Our third visit to Stoneturner's Cottage and another wonderful fortnight on the Lizard. Recommend getting the bus to Poldhu or Mullion coves and then walking back to the Lizard. Fantastic views and not too hard a walk. Also walking to Cadgwith via the coastal path and coming back via St Ruan's well and Grade Church. Hope to come back next year!

06 July 2016
Leanne and Simon, Somerset Lovely cottage which is ideally located for walking and for peace and quiet! Lizard Point is well worth seeing if you are birdwatchers like us as choughs are nesting here in good numbers. Kynance Cove is also worth visiting (you can do a circular walk from the cottage) but go at low tide so you can explore the caves - the scenery is fantastic plus there is lots of good wildlife to see. For food the Coast Bistro is lovely and both the Witch Ball and the Top House are very good and reasonably priced.

01 November 2015
Lia, Alex, John and Vena, Derby Thank you for letting us stay here. We really enjoyed it in this lovely cottage. It is nice and cosy and warm. We hope we can come back to stay soon. We liked sleeping here. The beds were really comfy. Thank you.

18 September 2015
Smith family, W Yorkshire A lovely week. The cottage has everything you need. Loved the little woodburner. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Carol, Clive and Sophie Sayers, Manchester/London Visited Cornwall and the Lizard peninsula many times before but our first visit to Stoneturner's Cottage. A surprisingly spacious and comfortable cottage and a perfect position for walking on the coastal footpath, fishing etc. Lots of great places to visit nearby. Blessed with mainly good weather and the wonderful views make the Lizard one of our favourite holiday destinations. Hope to come back.

07 August 2015
Schnitzer family, Bavaria, Germany Had a wonderful time here. Were very lucky with the weather. Found the cottage very well equipped. Loved Lizard Point, Ruan Minor and St Ives and so many more places. Cornwall is just beautiful! Will definitely come back again.

19 April 2015
Mrs Jill McCaffrey, Hampshire Lovely snug cottage in a great location. I enjoyed a fantastic week here during the Easter holidays with my two children. The location was ideal - quiet but within walking distance of shops, pubs and a cracking fish and chip shop. Beautiful coastal walks within reach, dramatic landscapes, sandy beaches and lots of things to do within easy driving distance. The cottage itself makes very good use of space and has been recently refurbished with lots of thought and good taste. It is very well equipped and comfortable, with every home comfort you could need. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

14 September 2018
Our first time to the Lizard and Stoneturner's Cottage was perfect for us to explore the area. Lots of good walks on the doorstep.

26 December 2016
Isabel and Lucy, London Happy to be here - all comfy and cosy at Christmas. Lovely festive lights down in Cadgwith Cove and exciting cliff-top walks in sun and wind. Too cold to swim sadly but sea walks still as beautiful as ever. Lovely Cadgwith community at Christmas.

03 September 2016
Amanda and Mark, Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan Lovely cosy place. Surrounding area is brilliant. Top class fish and chips from Smugglers in the Lizard. Fabulous to see so many stars in the sky. Nice touches - fresh flowers and milk. Thank you for letting us stay in your cottage!

06 August 2016
Kay, Mark and Grace, Whitstable, Kent A lovely time at Sunset Cottage as always. Most days we stayed local at Kennack Sands, but would also recommend Carbis Bay, St Ives - only 30-40 minutes by car. Cottage was spotless as usual and always a great base for our travels. Sad to leave but sure we'll be back next year.

Peter Bloxham Lovely little apartment - ideal for a couple. Location is excellent, with all places of interest just a short drive away. Lovely touches of cream tea and bottle of wine on arrival. Much appreciated! Would definitely recommend staying at The Burrow.

14 September 2017
Alison Gallop Great value for money, nothing to complain about. Great hospitality, well equipped with essentials - wine! Tea, coffee, milk, loo rolls, kitchen roll, soap etc. Very comfortable, great file of local information, plenty to do in the area, walks, exploring etc. Would definitely return.

15 August 2017
Jeffrey, USA Lovely, perfect. The place was clean, cosy, comfy, quiet and excellently apportioned, with maps and helpful literature on Cornwall and the more local surroundings. Just a perfect getaway. The bed was SO comfortable and sleep delicious after days of exploring, hiking, swimming and fish-eating. Carolyn was hands-down the most charming host I have ever had. You are in good hands staying here. Thanks for a magical week in Cornwall.

09 August 2018
Thank you for a very pleasant stay. We did some wonderful walks, ate marvellous food in Cadgwith and Coverack, and very much enjoyed coming home to The Burrow after a long day. The scones, milk, wine were all so friendly. Warm regards!
Iwan and Aryette, Holland

03 July 2018
Thank you so much, Carolyn and Paul, for letting us stay in The Burrow. We had a great 5 days visiting places we probably wouldn't have seen on our own. The area is a delight, made perfect by the great weather. The Burrow is very well equipped, with everything we could need. Loved the cream tea, cake, wine and the games of cards! Thank you again.
Lilian and Ken, Newton Abbot

19 September 2017
Hayley Mills The Burrow is a lovely little place - perfectly located for all the beautiful little coves nearby. Carolyn is the perfect owner and host and her hospitality is second to none. On arrival we had been left local bread, butter, milk, eggs, also traditional Cornish splits, local jam, clotted cream and a lovely bottle of white chilling in the fridge. YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE!! The Burrow has a folder full of local info with everything in it to make the most of your stay, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. A lovely little find that is definitely value for money, and the hospitality goes way beyond what you pay for.

23 August 2017
Karen and Matt, East Sussex The Burrow is a cosy, well organised, compact chalet, within easy walking distance of Kynance Cove and other stunning places of natural beauty. It is quiet, private and equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. It was so nice to arrive to a Cornish cream tea waiting for us and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The Burrow is lovingly decorated, with Cornish themes everywhere, and there is parking pretty much right outside the door, which is very convenient. A little gem - very well priced and we highly recommend.

30 June 2018
Susanne and Adrian Another great stay at The Coach House - great facilities and we particularly appreciated having WiFi this time (mainly because it allowed us to leave the TV off and just get weather updates when we needed them!) We love being in St Keverne - it's such a friendly village.

20 September 2014
Roy and Rosa Lidington, Dorset An exceptionally well equipped cottage and could not be more comfortable. The bonus was the wonderful weather!

21 September 2013
Paula and John Johnson, Essex We have had a great week in this lovely cosy cottage. Lots of lovely walks. We recommend the Greenhouse restaurant in the village.

10 May 2013
The Honeywoods, Wareham, Dorset Wow - what a beautiful cottage and so beautifully kept. We felt so at home. We came to stay for a wedding and had a fab time. A huge thank you to all for making us so welcome.

30 May 2018
The Guy family, Hampshire We all had a fantastic couple of days at The Coach House and would be happy to stay again. The house was ideal for us and the décor etc very homely and welcoming (the shower was superb!) The attached garage was an added bonus. The location was perfect for us. We will return.

18 August 2014
Terry, Sue and Edward Wheeler, East Sussex This is a lovely, well-equipped cottage and a great base to enjoy Cornwall.

10 July 2013
Julia Alderson, Newcastle upon Tyne A lovely cottage - very clean and very comfortable, with everything you could need. Beautiful scenery too. It was my first visit to Cornwall - won't be my last.

13 October 2018
We had a lovely break in Cadgwith and really enjoyed staying at The Cot. The cottage was rich in atmosphere and family history, and we enjoyed lovely, cosy evenings whilst the wind howled outside. We ate out in the village a couple of times (the crab sandwich at the Old Cellars was delicious) and toddled up to Ruan Minor for vital supplies. Although we only stayed for 5 nights (thanks again to the owners for allowing the shorter stay) we had a very welcome break from our busy schedules.
Jane Zonnenberg, Hants

02 December 2017
Shane and Jem, London It was an absolute pleasure to escape the everyday hustle and bustle with a retreat to this cottage. We are a couple with very busy schedules during the week, and this has lovingly given us a most deserved break in an all too tranquil atmosphere. We will be back some day.

29 July 2017
David and Jennifer, New Hampshire, USA A lovely week in this cosy cottage....walks by the sea, biking through lanes, along beaches....heaven! Thank you for making the cottage a warm place to come back to at the day's end. We hope to return.

20 May 2017
Judy, Neil and Anne Waters, Northumberland We had a wonderful time at The Cot. We enjoyed exploring the coast path and had beautiful sunshine most of the time. Loved the local pub, especially the singing night on Tuesday. The cottage was perfect and we particularly enjoyed early evening drinks in the garden - such a great view! We hope to return.

11 March 2017
Debbie and Colin, Harpenden, Herts We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely cottage - it certainly felt like home from home. We explored the local area and thoroughly enjoyed our brunch overlooking Lizard Point. The walk down to Kynance Cove was well worth the magnificent views. We had a wonderful week and hope to visit Cadgwith and stay in The Cot again in the future.

29 October 2016
Jon, Fi and Charlie, Powys Once again, everything has been perfect and a tonic. Anything which can get a 16-year-old boy out of bed unprompted has to be a miracle. Much fishing of mullet in the cove and yet more photos of Cadgwith in all its moods. Thank you for making The Cot such a wonderful place to stay.

15 April 2016
Nicky and Terry, Fremington, Devon What a lovely village and beautiful cottage. We have had a fantastic stay here. The weather has been great for walking and we have had our first paddle of the year! We wanted a relaxing holiday and this has been perfect. We would recommend the cottage and village to anyone and we will certainly return.

05 May 2018
Mr and Mrs Keil, Germany We were very happy to see Cadgwith again after 4 years. During that time nothing has changed - the green and flowers everywhere, the beautiful coast with its wonderful views, the old cellars and the pub and last but not least our little cosy Cot! We had a few small problems in the cottage which we spoke to the owner about but despite these little inconveniences we really had a very good time in Cadgwith and Cornwall.

23 September 2017
Gail and Lol, Staffs Just like 'coming home'. A lovely stay in this wonderful spot in Cornwall. Very 'interesting' weather this time and hoping for better next year. Sad to be leaving but taking back lots of special memories to treasure. Thank you for a lovely stay.

22 July 2017
Alan and Benedict, Galway, Ireland Loved our stay in this picture-perfect cottage. Also the views from the upper terrace are stunning, albeit a bit of a hike. Really recommend dinner in the local pub and the fresh fish from the fishmongers in the village. The Cot has everything you could ask for, for a couple or a young family. Nice local walks in the area too, although the coastal path is not for someone with a fear of heights. Sad to go but would come back again.

13 May 2017
Meg and Mary, Oxford and Shrewsbury Another wonderful visit to Cadgwith and this cosy cottage. Each time I bring along a different friend who is immediately smitten, just like me. The weather has been glorious and we have spent considerable time 'up the garden' admiring the terraces and the gorgeous views, with some reading thrown in. We have discovered many local treasures and eaten at Coast bistro at the Lizard - delicious food - the best fish and chips, also from the village, and the two cafes on the point. The refurbished shop in Ruan Minor is delightful. Much to come back for!!

11 February 2017
John and Cilla Weir, Bristol A beautiful and cosy cottage. Several fabulous coast path walks, with lunch on the terrace at Lizard Point in shirt sleeves - in February! Ann's pasties are great - we're taking a pile back to Bristol. Thank you for the flowers, milk and delicious white wine. We would love to come back...

21 May 2016
Miguel and Claire Sutcliffe, Cowbridge, South Wales We write this with disappointment and sadness...because our week is coming to an end. We've been coming to Cadgwith every year for the past 12 years and love it more and more each time. This is our second visit to The Cot and by far our favourite residence! A great job has been done with the garden and offers great views of the cove and beyond - a superb place to relax with a beer or glass of wine and some olives! One thing we don't do is tell people back home about Cadgwith. It's our special place and we want to keep it secret!!

03 November 2018
A very enjoyable stay at the Old Cellars. We particularly liked the location (no noise at all from the pub next door) and also the friendliness, helpfulness and generosity of the owners. Even the November weather couldn't have been better.
V Nesbitt, Glos

30 April 2016
Mrs Whittaker, York A lovely stay at The Loft - convenient for everything, fabulously comfortable bed - can't fault it. The shower was tiny for my husband but it wouldn't put us off coming again.

04 November 2017
Mrs V Nesbitt, Gloucestershire We had a lovely stay at The Loft. It was cosy and warm with the woodburner and we loved being so near the beach. The local people were friendly and helpful, including the owners of The Loft, who generously left us wine, logs, kindling etc. Although the pub was so close, we were not bothered by any noise at all. We did find the shower and shower room quite restrictive in size, but this would not be easy to rectify!

26 April 2019
Our stay at Tremarne was fantastic. A beautiful cottage in an amazing location. The views were stunning. Everything we needed was in the house and it was a lovely gesture to arrive to some fresh milk from the local farm to enable us to have a cup of tea! The rooms were spotless and there was a lot of useful information about things to do in the area, which was helpful. We will certainly stay in one of your cottages again.
Mr and Mrs Ball, Warwickshire

31 August 2018
Wonderful, relaxing holiday home. Fantastic!
The Mandeville family, Nottingham

07 April 2018
The Tabb family, Somerset The cottage was wonderful - so homely and in such a fantastic location. We almost don't want to leave a good review so it can remain 'our secret'! It was really well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. We are planning to return next year.

15 January 2018
We enjoyed our stay at Tremarne - it was comfortable and warm despite the weather. We would not hesitate to recommend it, and Cadgwith Cove Cottages. Thank you for the bottle of milk - a thoughtful touch.
Simon Chester, Hants

01 September 2017
Nina and Richard Aked and family, Yorkshire Lovely house - thoughtfully arranged - and perched on the edge of heaven. The week has flown by....we have loved it.

07 April 2017
Mrs Harvey, Kent We have had a lovely week at Tremarne. We especially enjoyed the superb views down to Cadgwith Cove. We wouldn't have wanted to change anything, except for perhaps a bit more warmth in the sun!

02 November 2018
Lovely house - had a wonderful stay. We will be back!
Adam, Amanda and boys, Herefordshire

22 June 2018
Mr and Mrs Sykes, Devon We had a lovely stay at Tremarne and a great mix of weather - very hot and then fascinatingly misty! We loved the house. It was 10 years ago that we last stayed there and we noticed some updates and changes - all good. We certainly hope to visit again and we have already recommended Tremarne.

24 February 2018
The Bartlem family, Coventry Tremarne is a lovely house with lovely views over the cove. It's a very 'live-in-able' property. As a family we absolutely loved our stay and will return next year.

04 November 2017
Mr and Mrs Clayton, Cheshire A wonderful week at Tremarne. We have been booking with Cadgwith Cove Cottages for a number of years now and always find the cottages clean and comfortable and enchanting places to stay, no matter what the weather. We have our favourites and Tremarne is right up there but they are all lovely, situated in what is, to us, a magical location.

23 May 2017
Mrs S Ford, Craven Arms A thoroughly enjoyable week at Tremarne. We particularly liked the location and the sea view, and also the secure garden for the dog. A couple of suggestions - half the saucepans lacked lids and we would also have liked to recycle rubbish from the premises, or to know where the local recycling bins were.

03 June 2016
A great location and lovely, well-appointed cottage. In fact an all-round super holiday. We will definitely be back.
The Woolliams family, Buckinghamshire

15 September 2018
Perfect little hideaway with everything we needed. In a lovely position just off the cliff path and so peaceful. Thank you so much for the milk, muffins and beautiful flowers!
Susan and David, Bristol

18 August 2018
Park family, North Yorkshire Don't want to tell anyone how fantastic this place is - we'll never be able to book again!! Thank you for all the welcoming goodies on arrival. Can heartily recommend: BBQ in Cadgwith on Wednesday night, open mic night in the pub on Tuesday, Housel Bay, Kynance, surfing lesson at Poldhu, coast path walks, sculpture park at Coverack, Kennack Sands. What a hidden gem of a place to spend a holiday.

04 August 2018
Dave and Carol, Birmingham We had a lovely time. The caravan was very homely, with all the little touches that made it so special to us. The cakes were magic and to come in to the scent of fresh flowers was wonderful. The bed linen was also magic. See you very soon.

07 July 2018
Steve and Lizzie, Derby The owners have done a beautiful job refitting the van - all fresh and colour co-ordinated. We loved our little "dell". Thank you for the little extras - fresh flowers, cakes, milk, interesting drinks sachets etc - and all the help before we came. Really enjoyed our visit.

02 June 2018
The Taylor family, Kent Our second wonderful visit to Trewidden. We had a lovely time, with fine weather and amazing beaches. Fabulous surf! Cakes fab. We will be back next year.

16 September 2017
Mick Perry, Leics Trewidden Caravan is like so many of the Lizard's beautiful coves - a hidden jewel. The caravan is kept to an extremely high standard, with all the conveniences that are required. Our stay was perfect - a beautiful setting with a private area to sit out and enjoy the morning sun whilst having breakfast. A 5-minute walk takes you to the heart of the village, with all the beautiful fishing boats and some of the most welcoming locals I have ever met. Although this was our first time at the caravan it won't be our last. PS - the cakes on our first day were fantastic.

18 August 2017
Jonny, Cathy, Josh and Ollie, Wakefield Difficult not to unwind in a place like this. Such a lovely week. Thanks Karl and Alisa. Thank you Cadgwith.

21 July 2017
Isobel and Michael, Stafford A delightful spot - we were impressed with this location - very handy for Cadgwith and easy access to the coast path. The caravan was well kitted out - we did suggest the need for a clothes airer (owner's note - now provided). WiFi and Internet were mostly unobtainable, which could be a problem for some. Alisa and Karl were lovely - and so were the home made cakes! I'm sure we will be back.

01 July 2017
John and Brenda McGill, Birmingham, West Midlands Thanks for the yummy cakes and all the nice touches - flowers lasted all week. Very clean and well equipped. Still can't work out how you got the caravan into place.....

03 June 2017
The Taylor family, Kent Fantastic stay in lovely location. We will return! Thank you.

25 August 2018
Thank you for a great welcome - cakes are always a hit with us! We enjoyed our week - love this place. Thank you Karl for sorting out the washing machine. Hopefully we will be back next year.
Trevor, Sharon and Barnaby, Chislehurst

10 August 2018
Jan, Caz, George and Callum Wonderful stay in a beautiful caravan. Thank you so much for the lovely cakes, fresh flowers and milk. The grounds are magical, very calming. We all loved the seagull that landed every day on the roof tap dancing - we called him Fred Astaire! Hopefully we will return.

21 July 2018
Mr and Mrs Gilmore, Derby We had a wonderful week in this lovely caravan. The standard of cleaning is excellent, as is the quality of pots, pans, cutlery etc. The attention to detail is obvious as soon as you walk through the door, with welcome flowers, delicious cakes still warm from the oven and milk in the fridge for a cuppa. The garden is a good size and very private, with visiting birds daily and at night you can see the bats flying. We took solar fairy lights with us, which added to this magical garden. Amazingly clean, inside and out - even the stone slabs leading from the garden gate to the caravan door were washed and hosed. We will never forget this holiday.

23 June 2018
Tina Elliot, Devon A very comfortable, well-equipped caravan in a beautiful area and just a stone's throw from the village. Alisa is a lovely host and her cakes are delicious. She and Karl have made the caravan and surrounds a special place and I would return again.

23 September 2017
Patrick and Nicki, Droitwich A perfect week! We will return. Great caravan. Thank you very much.

02 September 2017
Mrs Gradwell, Somerset We really enjoyed our stay at Trewidden Caravan. The caravan itself was fantastic for us as a smallish family for the week. It was spotlessly clean and despite the limited space had all the kitchen equipment you could need, even down to food storage boxes, picnic plates etc. It has been tastefully furnished and the bedding, towels etc are good quality. We especially liked the location and were delighted to be just a few minutes walk from the Devil's Frying Pan and Cadgwith village (albeit a pretty steep walk coming back). The garden was very pretty and again had all we needed - picnic table and four recliner sun beds for relaxing. The owners/managers next door were very friendly but discreet so we pretty much only saw them on arrival and when we left, but they couldn't have been more helpful when we asked. Lovely touch to have a huge tin of freshly homemade muffins on arrival - much appreciated.

11 August 2017
Sharon, Trevor and Barnaby A fantastic caravan - well equipped. A gem of a find. Will be back!

08 July 2017
Bernice and Dave, Bournemouth The week, the caravan, the location and the weather - oh, not forgetting the cakes - were all truly wonderful! Thank you.

22 June 2017
Julia Costello Alisa and Karl, you have done an amazing job re-vamping the caravan. Fantastic week - all the small luxury touches make the difference.

30 September 2018
Well Cottage is one of the nicest, most well equipped cottages we have stayed in on the Lizard peninsula, and we have visited the area every year for the past 20 years. It really is home from home and we hope to be blessed to stay there again. The staff at Cadgwith Cove Cottages are particularly helpful, even directing us to a new beach we had never come across before. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone - it is so relaxing and so much history there too.
Mr and Mrs Cooper, Lancashire

07 September 2013
Had a fantastic week. Cottage lovely - everything we needed and so pretty and welcoming. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We don't want to leave.

15 June 2013
Pauline, Bob and Torran Thank you so much for such a warm welcome - the cream tea was a lovely touch and Torran loved his dish of treats. We had a relaxing and enjoyable week, doing some great walks in the fantastic surrounding area.

27 September 2013
J Radcliffe We have had a lovely relaxing break. You have splendid sea views from here - a quaint, beautiful abode. Many thanks.

24 May 2013
The Saunders family We have all enjoyed another wonderful visit to Coverack but our first holiday in Wyndleshore, which has been a very special time. We loved the cottage, the view and the garden and found everything we could possibly have wanted. We haven't used the car at all during our stay as everything is just perfect in Coverack. It's hard to leave, but we'll be back. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cottage.

13 September 2013
Peter and Val Yet another fabulous time at Wyndleshore. This is our third visit to Coverack and it seems to get better every time. Food, drinks, walks and everyone very very friendly. We started to feel like locals by the last few days. Many thanks Angela - we all enjoyed our stay. See you next year.
