When you hear the name “A Lookout” you realise that this cottage really does look out over the water and Cadgwith Cove. It is approached along a private drive and stands in almost 2 acres of gardens (still being landscaped) in a lovely cliff top location. From almost every window you can see and hear the sea in all its moods. The cottage has been completely refurbished to a very high standard and provides easy living mixed with a beautiful setting. From the open sided decking area you can catch the sun all day whilst watching the fishing boats and sailing ships. There is always something of interest to see. Even on a dull day the cottage is bright – catching the light from all directions. From here you join the coast path which leads you down into Cadgwith (about 2 minutes walk). Or turn left and take the footpath to Kennack Sands, Coverack or even further!

Thank you very much for lending us your lookout with the best outlook! We had a fab week exploring all of the local coves, and loved Cadgwith. Small but perfectly formed. Great holiday had by all four of us. We'll be back.

We loved our fortnight at A Lookout. Everything was as expected. A Lookout is ideally placed for access to the cove and the Lizard peninsula. Everything was as described – amenities and utensils first class. Sadly no welcome pack for our first cuppa, which we have come to expect staying in other Cadgwith cove cottages, but apart from that, perfect. Definitely would come again.
