Property details
Here is the place for a truly memorable holiday. White Feather stands by itself on the cliffs above Cadgwith Cove. Large picture windows give you magnificent panoramic views over the bay and so you are able to enjoy the sea in all its moods. Within moments you can walk onto the cliff path where you can turn left to the village or turn right to Lizard Point. The coastal and inland walks around this area are some of the best in Cornwall. White Feather is a comfortable house on one level designed in the 1960s and built in two wings. The owner lives in the south part of the house - he is an artist and his work and style is much in evidence. The house is approached along a private drive and as you arrive you will feel you have discovered one of the Lizard's hidden secrets. The apartments are completely separate and at the front of yours there is a large private sundeck area which leads to extensive lawns and gardens all overlooking the sea.

The Annexe at White Feather is a truly unique holiday property. The views of Cadgwith cove, the cliffs and the sea are spectacular and the property is designed to take advantage of them, both inside and outside, with floor to ceiling windows in the large living room and master bedroom, and two wooden decking areas outside. Marble floors, an interesting selection of books and paintings by Peter (the owner), his wife and other artists give a stylish but homely feel to the accommodation. The big garden is delightful. The South West coast path runs just the other side of the hedge and is easily reached through a gate from the property. Peter himself is lovely and extremely kind – very concerned to make sure you enjoy your stay. His golden labrador, Jago, is delightful too. We would definitely like to return to White Feather.

An excellent location, which facilitates timely access to village amenities and beyond. A superb vista, well-appointed accommodation and, most importantly, a delightful and most helpful owner.
