Property details
Every so often we find a hidden gem and we have certainly found one here at Bramley Cottage. Unassuming from the outside you enter through a cottage doorway into the cosiest of rooms with a serpentine inglenook fireplace and original wood beams. Surrounded by comfy sofas and a log burning stove you won’t want to go very far away. Large gardens outside with lovely Bramley apple trees complete the picture and every window provides a frame to the views outside. Originally a 300 year old thatched cottage you feel that many a story would have been told here with the coastal path and the Devil’s Frying Pan only a two minute walk away and Cadgwith Cove at the bottom of the hill just 5 minutes walk away. This cottage has been lovingly refurbished and provides a great location with easy parking just outside.

What a gem of a property! It’s a country retreat by the coast! Bramley Cottage is extremely comfortable, full of atmosphere and very well equipped. The bed is comfortable, the sofas are comfortable – it is just so cosy and relaxing. The garden, which gets the sun all day, is a huge bonus, as well as easy parking. It’s a great location from which to visit the north and south coast. Thank you for all the thoughtful preparations – the welcome pack and flowers were a lovely gesture. We hope to return.

A second visit and such a lovely cottage. Everything you need is here, and more! The welcome cream tea and flowers are thoughtful gestures. We found more places to explore this year and walked on beaches and the cliff path for miles. Driving to Kynance Cove early in the day was a huge success, especially as the tide was out. Coverack is well worth a visit. There are lots of places to eat out, but buying and cooking the fish from the shop in Cadgwith is a must – totally delicious. The Gear Farm pasties and sausage rolls make the short journey very worthwhile. The sun keeps shining when we visit Cadgwith. We must return again. Thank you Liz and David for making us so welcome. PS – the bird song is amazing.
