A stepping stone path leads you to a large wood cabin with leafy trees as your backdrop and the main stage is a large garden with views of the sea. The scene is set for a magical holiday. The cabin leads out onto a large decking area so whether you love outdoor or indoor living this is a place you will treasure. Not only can you enjoy cosy nights by the log burning stove but the extensive gardens lead to your own private summerhouse together with a fire pit, barbecue and large fish pond. Driftwood is hidden away from the road along a private drive but this secret garden takes you onto a public footpath leading you to Ruan Minor and Cadgwith just a few minutes away so if you are wanting local produce from the farm shop or an amazing meal at the Cadgwith Cove Inn there is something for everyone. Every day can be an adventure from here seeing all the beautiful Lizard peninsula on your doorstep.

ACCOMMODATION: LARGE LIVING ROOM: with KITCHEN AREA: gas hob and electric oven, small fridge/freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and ice machine. DINING AREA: with table and chairs. LOUNGE AREA: with large sofa bed and chair, TV and log burning stove. Double doors lead out to decking area with outside rattan sofa and chairs and sea views. DOUBLE BEDROOM. SHOWER ROOM: with large shower, wash basin, W.C. and heated towel rail. GARDEN: large extensive gardens with summerhouse, table and chairs and rocking chairs on the veranda. Firepit and barbecue area with wooden sun loungers and picnic bench. HEATING: wall panel electric heaters and log burning stove. PARKING: down private drive - space for one car. PETS: welcome. SPECIAL NOTE: the large fish pond with net requires that small children must not be left unattended. For extra safety there is a lockable gate from thedecking to the garden. The owners live adjacent to Driftwood but are completely separate and are on hand if there are any queries. Towels are provided but it is necessary to bring beach towels.

This is our 2nd time staying at Driftwood and it is just such an amazing peaceful place with stunning views of the sea. The cabin is spacious, cosy and very comfortable and the large gardens are perfect for our two dogs. Gary & Victoria are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, they even gave us extra wood for the log burner and fire pit which was so kind. The location of the cabin is also perfect to walk to the cove and visit the pub, the local shop and the artisan bakery - all within 5 mins walk. Thanks again Gary & Victoria for an amazing week and see you again next year for our 3rd visit!

Driftwood has provided the most amazing autumn break. The cabin is perfect! - so spacious, comfy and peaceful. We’ve had the best time exploring the beautiful area and making the most of the sunshine. Thank you so much for a lovely stay - we hope to be back soon and will be recommending to everyone we know.
