Property details

If you want to explore the Lizard peninsula and enjoy beautiful accommodation then you need look no further. Pendour has recently been lovingly refurbished and updated with a very keen eye to design and detail. The local colours of sun, sea and sand are reflected in many rooms of the house. Look west and you just have a view of the sea above Kynance Cove providing perfect sunsets and looking east you see the landmark of Grade Church which sits above Cadgwith Cove. The Lizard village is less than a mile away and with the network of both coastal and inland footpaths this is a very special place to appreciate wildlife and natural habitats. You also have the bonus of experiencing great local produce – from Ann’s Pasties at the Lizard to local farm shops offering fresh vegetables and local fish, crab and lobsters. Mmm! A new patio and garden area provides a sheltered spot for relaxing – everything you would want from a holiday is here!

Guest book

We feel honoured to be among the first guests to stay at Pendour! What a fabulous week we had. The house has every possible item that anyone could want, including its own Netflix account. Just like ‘home from home’. A little gem we discovered after a long drive down to Cornwall was ‘Slice’ in Falmouth – so well hidden you’d think it wasn’t there but well worth it. We also had a Sunday roast at the local pub at the Lizard, which was also very nice. This was our first ever visit to Cornwall and it did not disappoint in the slightest. Such a beautiful place, we can’t wait to return and will almost certainly book to stay at Pendour again. Until next time….

Foster family, Redditch

This was an exceptional place to stay. The location was perfect – only a mile from the Lizard and a one-minute drive from our favourite beach, Kynance Cove (which you can walk to!) The property had everything we needed – good WiFi, more kitchen utensils than we knew what to do with, a lovely outside area, 2 fridges and a freezer, lots of board games, DVDs and TV, and an amazing big bathroom and en suite. It offered amazing views of the sunset as well. There was more than enough parking and the house had been renovated to an immaculate standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to book here in the future.
