REVIEWS FOR CORNER HOUSE

Corner House is located in the beautiful village of Cadgwith. We were greeted with some beautiful touches – Cornish scones and cream and welcoming sunflowers. The cottage has some real magic in it. You feel totally at peace and the stars are stunning over the cove at night. Time really does stand still. We made some incredible memories. The doorstep walks are breathtaking, and watching the fishing boats head out from the harbour at sunrise on a summer’s morning was a really magical moment. I can’t recommend this little cottage enough. It has stolen a piece of my heart.

We’ve been to Cadgwith many times but this is the first time we’ve stayed at Corner House. We’ll definitely be coming back! It’s a gorgeous wee cottage – warm and cosy, well-stocked with firewood and nicely furnished with plenty of cushions and rugs. It’s also well located – right next to the Cadgwith Cove Inn and close to the beach. The Prosecco and Christmas treats left out for us on arrival were a really nice touch!

This was a fantastic holiday. We loved Cadgwith, with its vibrant fishing harbour, and we loved the picturesque cottage. We stayed a week here – it was so relaxing, a completely different pace of life. The cottage is steeped in history and right in the middle of the village, very close to the South West coast path. The walk to Kennack Sands is beautiful. We ate at the Cadgwith Inn most nights – the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. There is also a restaurant open day time and fresh crab sandwiches on the harbour. A lovely week’s holiday. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time in Corner House and really enjoyed the historic nature of the cottage and all the wonderful pictures on the walls. The cottage is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the terrace is a bonus. The bottle of wine was appreciated, as was the pint of milk. 10 out of 10.

A wonderful stay in this characterful cottage. We loved all the old pictures and photos recording the history of the area. Beautiful walks and wildflowers around the Lizard and we enjoyed buying our fish in the cove for tasty dinners, as well as sampling food and singing at the Inn. The woodburner is a super one!

As always we had a fabulous week in Cadgwith – our first time staying in Corner House. The cottage was wonderful – lots of character and history, and in a wonderful position. We enjoyed our mornings sitting with a cup of coffee watching the world go by and then walking along the coastal path. The cottage is perfectly placed for the cove and pub and was beautifully presented and immaculate in all ways. We will be back.

We so loved our time at Corner House. It really is just so special - you can feel the love in every room! We were blessed with glorious sunshine, sparkling sea, fabulous walks, delicious meals (the pub in Cadgwith is wonderful) and beautiful beaches - it all made for an unforgettable week. We can't wait to be back!

A very relaxing week here at Corner House – a lovely quirky cottage with everything you need. We lit the fire every day as the weather was very windy, cold and rainy, so it was much appreciated. The old stove is amazing – a piece of history right there. Love all the old pictures of Cadgwith. Thank you!

We had a wonderful week in Corner House - such a lovely, characterful and charming cottage. There was so much history and quirkiness, but also everything you could ask for in a holiday cottage (and all of it working, including the excellent WiFi). It couldn't have been more cosy and comfortable - perfect in every way, including the weather. We will definitely be back.

Corner House is wonderfully located in beautiful Cadgwith – a tiny fishing village with great sea views and a very special pub. The house is cosier and prettier than in the photos. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen superbly equipped and everything very clean. In addition to a fireplace, the cosy living room also has Netflix and Youtube (which pleased our son very much!) Directions were great, check-in by key box was easy and fresh flowers, delicious scones and a bottle of wine were waiting for us in the house, along with useful tips for the area. A cottage with special charm and a place we would be very happy to return to.

Corner House is all about ‘comfort and joy’. The complete authenticity of this wonderful place is really remarkable. The atmosphere of the cove is very welcoming and we enjoyed much local food. Walking in both directions blew away too many cobwebs. The only thing we’d do differently next time is to book two weeks please.

The cottage and location are amazing! The cottage itself has everything you’ll need and is a lovely quirky place itself. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. And the location is just perfect. With the best pub, fishmongers, beaches and coastal walks right on your doorstep you really couldn’t wish for more.

Corner House is a lovely Cornish cottage at the heart of Cadgwith Cove. A great balance of traditional coastal life and modern amenities. It's located perfectly for walks on the coastal path or a pint down the cove. Daisy the owner was attentive and lovely to deal with. We'll definitely come again!

My sister and I really enjoyed our stay in Corner House. The cottage is comfortable, full of character and well situated in the middle of the village. We particularly liked the terrace at the back where we spent sunny afternoons, the beautiful stained glass in the bathroom door, the cosy living room and the many photos and pictures on the walls. We enjoyed pasties and cider from the gift shop, had a lovely meal at the pub and ate locally caught lobster at the Old Cellars restaurant. To sum it up, we had a great holiday – even the weather co-operated!

It was a pleasure and a privilege to stay in Corner House. The love that has gone into everything just beams out, creating a wonderful atmosphere which is unique. We loved coming back after a windy/rainy/sunny cliff walk, lighting the fire and brewing up. (A wonderful collection of marine books too). Don't miss the fishermen singing in the pub on Friday nights, when you'll get a warm welcome from the landlord and his wife. The folk night on Tuesdays is also worth a visit. Leggy's pasties in Ruan Minor are great - a 10 minute walk up the road. Too many things to see and do to mention. A very special treat and we will come back to Cadgwith and wonderful Corner House.
