From the name of the cottage you may make the mistake of thinking that all there is to do here is to watch dolphins! There is so much more! Keen walkers, beach lovers, bird spotters, enthusiastic anglers will all have found their perfect destination. Within easy reach of spectacular cliff walks, and also yards away from the village pub, restaurants and shops, the cottage provides the best of all worlds. The house was a traditional artisan cottage constructed from the local serpentine stone and has been tastefully modernised incorporating an open fire and woodburner to enjoy those winter storms in comfort. The Lizard is a very popular destination for a holiday offering beautiful cliff walks, dramatic sandy beaches including Housel Bay and Kynance Cove, together with good pubs and restaurants. Whilst you are here take a short walk to Pentreath and try to discover the hidden treasure of Captain Avery – the king of pirates – who reportedly hid his booty here following his return from the Bahamas on the sloop Sea Flower (see the Treasure Map in the house). It’s just one of the many seafaring stories around! From upstairs you can look towards Land's End and may even spot a dolphin!

The Hall family, Northants
Another lovely holiday on the Lizard. We have revisited our favourite paths, as well as explored some new routes, trying to dodge the mud and slippery patches - sometimes unsuccessfully! It has been a very pleasant house to stay in. The yard and utility room have been useful for dealing with muddy boots. Thank you.

Arrived in the Lizard after navigating the myriad of roads that lead one here - great views on the way down though. Beautiful cottage - more than we expected. With more than a hard week's work to shake off, it was the perfect place. We will definitely come again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.
