Mordros Cottage (the name means “sound of the sea” in Cornish) certainly lives up to its name - with the waves only a short distance away you can sometimes hear the surf. Tucked away in this little unspoilt part of Cornwall, you feel very much away from it all at this detached cottage, which offers a very comfortable holiday with a quiet beach just a short stroll through the fields below - perfect for picnicking, fishing or just sunbathing. St Keverne is only half a mile away with its good pubs, restaurants and shops. The Helford river and the little coastal villages of Porthallow, Porthoustock and Coverack are close by. Mordros Cottage offers the best of both worlds - peace and tranquillity with lots to do on your doorstep.

ACCOMMODATION: FIRST FLOOR: Open plan KITCHEN/LIVING/DINING AREA: Kitchen area: with electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment – very well equipped. Dining area: with table and chairs. Lounge area with comfortable seating and TV with DVD, radio/CD player. Window looks down to the sea. GROUND FLOOR: DOUBLE BEDROOM and TWIN BEDROOM. SHOWER ROOM: with shower, WC and washbasin. Washing machine and tumble dryer. GARDEN: sheltered attractive garden with table and chairs. There is a right of way through the garden to another cottage. SPECIAL NOTES: All bedding now provided but it is still necessary to bring towels. HEATING: full central heating. Security deposit: £100.

A lovely stay at Mordros Cottage, which has proved most comfortable. A real home from home, helped by the very warm welcome. Good weather and lovely walk down to Godrevy for swimming. All very relaxing.

We had a really lovely time at Mordros Cottage. The cottage was immaculate and clean and very well appointed with everything we needed. The garden was also lovely. The location was perfect for my sisters and I, with easy access to the beach and stunning walks all round. We really enjoyed meeting and chatting to the owners and their family, who couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. A peaceful and charming idyll. We would definitely like to return!
