Tucked away from the main thoroughfare of St Keverne you will find Tregoning Manor, an early 18th century farmhouse built on the site of a Cistercian monastery. Priory Cottage is a converted barn in the grounds of the manor house that has been lovingly restored by the present owners. The cottage retains all the features of natural wood, old beams, deep window sills mixed with vibrant colours and stylish furniture. Suitable for both winter days with its cosy log burner or summer days where you can enjoy the sheltered patio garden this is a perfect space to relax. The property is beautifully set with a stream running through the grounds, a small waterfall, millpond and an old clapper bridge leading on down to the woodland area where you are welcome to wander. This really is a hidden treasure being so close to the beaches and the village of St Keverne – a 10 minute walk away – providing restaurants including The Greenhouse restaurant, good pubs and shops and yet providing a tranquil spot for enjoying the Cornish countryside.
