After a week of staying in Ship Cottage my husband is looking 10 years younger! The glorious bird song every morning, the sparrows nesting under the gutter, no traffic, dark nights and peace makes for pure joy. This homely comfortable cottage is lovely and Cadgwith magical – a truly treasured time here. Thank you so much. We will return.

It was incredibly special for all of us to stay in Ship Cottage and to revisit Cadgwith. Our great grandparents, Richard Stephens and Helena (nee Jane) Stephens, lived in this cottage (or half of it) in the early to mid-1900s. It was a time to imagine re-tracing their steps, thinking about how they lived and the people they were. A tremendous opportunity, particularly for those of us coming from Australia. We love Ship Cottage and would love to come again. This visit was particularly special as we had three generations of Stephens here. A visit to treasure and remember.
